NCT04962659
This is a pilot study of the feasibility and potential impact of a Mindfulness-Based Music and Songwriting program (delivered via telehealth) on stress and well-being in parents/caregivers of children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Participants are randomized to participate in the mindfulness program or a business-as-usual control group.
NCT03770000
To characterize safety, tolerability and to establish the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of Tenalisib in combination with Romidepsin in patients with R/R T-cell lymphoma.
NCT04450394
The reason for this study is to see if the study drug LY3209590 is safe and effective in participants with type 2 diabetes.
NCT04922645
This study is being conducted to demonstrate the effect of Auryxia, when used as the primary phosphate lowering therapy, on the overall cumulative use of erythropoiesis-stimulating agent and intravenous iron as well as on the laboratory parameters indicative of phosphate and anemia management.
NCT04162769
The purpose of this study is to determine whether etrasimod is a safe and effective treatment for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD).
NCT01099449
RATIONALE: Chemoprotective drugs, such as calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate, may prevent neurotoxicity caused by oxaliplatin. It is not yet known which administration schedule of calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate is more effective in preventing neurotoxicity. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying different administration schedules of calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate and comparing how well they work in neurotoxicity in patients with colon cancer or rectal cancer receiving oxaliplatin-based combination chemotherapy.
NCT02654132
The purpose of this study is to determine if adding Elotuzumab to Pomalidomide and low-dose dexamethasone is a more effective treatment of relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma compared to pomalidomide and low-dose dexamethasone by itself.
NCT01782989
This is a prospective, randomized study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ORACEA® in the treatment of geographic atrophy due to dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
NCT02010593
This study will evaluate the safety of the dapivirine vaginal ring when inserts once every 4 weeks in postmenopausal women over 12 weeks of product use.
NCT01375764
The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of subcutaneous evolocumab (AMG 145), compared with ezetimibe, on percent change from baseline in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients with hypercholesterolemia unable to tolerate an effective dose of a statin.
NCT04457752
A Randomized Controlled Multicenter Clinical Trial, Evaluating the Efficacy of Dual Layer Amniotic Membrane (Artacent®) and Standard of Care versus Standard of Care alone in the healing Chronic Diabetic Foot Ulcers. Multi-center, open label, randomized controlled trial. Study is estimated to require 12 months from first subject enrolled to last subject visit.
NCT02483078
This is a Phase 2b/3, multi-center, two part study, designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of PRO 140 in conjunction with existing ART (failing regimen) for one week and Optimized Background Therapy (OBT) for 24 weeks respectively. Study population includes treatment-experienced HIV-infected patients with CCR5-tropic virus who demonstrates evidence of HIV-1 replication despite ongoing antiretroviral therapy with documented genotypic or phenotypic resistance to ART drugs within three drug classes (or within two or more drug classes with limited treatment options). The options may be limited as a result of drug antiviral class cross-resistance or documented treatment intolerance.
NCT04684394
This study is designed to investigate the safety and tolerability of GEM103 IVT injection + standard of care vs. sham + standard of care.
NCT01954576
This pilot phase II trial studies how well Novocure's Tumor Treating Electric Fields (NovoTTF) therapy works in treating patients with recurrent glioblastoma multiforme. NovoTTF therapy uses a low intensity electric current to kill tumor cells. NovoTTF therapy may be effective treatment for brain cancer.
NCT04051944
The purpose of the study is to assess long-term safety and tolerability of weekly doses of rozanolixizumab in subjects with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP).
NCT04824365
Cellular Sciences Inc has submitted over 17 human clinicals (phase I, II, III including animal safety data) to the FDA for the reduction of respiratory inflammation and inflammatory cytokines including IL-6 the cause of the cytokine storm in COVID patients. These clinicals demonstrated a reduction of inflammation in all lung and sinus diseases, in patients with COPD, Pulmonary fibrosis, CF, asthma, sinusitis , the flu and nasal inflammation and congestion. Inhaled sodium pyruvate reduces inflammation, congestion and in our phase III clinical study with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis patients we demonstrated statistically and clinical significant increase in FEV-1, SaO2, FVC, FEV-1/FVC ratios (form 52% to 86%) and a decrease in hypoxemia, and a reduction in coughing. Inhaled sodium pyruvate alleviated the symptoms associated with COVID-19 patients in Pulmonary Fibrosis, and may be a solution to the lingering COVID-19 symptoms in patients that had the COVID-19 infection for example long haulers. In flu and COVID infected mice, nebulized sodium pyruvate decreased morbidity, weight loss, inflammatory cytokines and decreased viral titers compared to placebo controls. The study to be done at Missouri State University is titled ( Two week sub-chronic double-blinded placebo controlled trial designed to determine if sodium pyruvate nasal spray will reduce the symptoms, duration and replication of COVID-19 infection)
NCT04678505
The purpose of this study is to compare the plasma and urine pharmacokinetics (PK) of MK-3402 in participants with impaired renal function and healthy control participants, to investigate the extent to which MK-3402 is removed from the plasma by hemodialysis (HD), and evaluate the safety and tolerability of MK-3402 in participants with impaired renal function.
NCT04006964
The diagnosis of a lung function anomaly requires the evaluation of pulmonary function by spirometry. However, some patients (e.g. children, elderly, or diseased individuals) may have difficulty performing the related forced maximal respiratory maneuver correctly. Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT) measures lung impedance during tidal breathing, requiring minimal patient cooperation. The purpose of this study is to establish the diagnostic accuracy of FOT parameters alone or in combination with lung volumes in detecting lung function anomalies as compared with spirometry and with the diagnosis made by the physician.
NCT01281813
The primary objective of this trial is to continue the provision of darunavir/ low-dose ritonavir (DRV/rtv) to adult and pediatric patients who previously received DRV/rtv in the clinical trials TMC114-C211, TMC114-C214, TMC114-TiDP31-C229 or in the pediatric trial TMC114-TiDP29-C232 who continue to benefit from the use of darunavir in combination with low-dose ritonavir (DRV/rtv), in countries where DRV is not commercially available for the subject, is not reimbursed, or cannot be accessed through another source (e.g., access program, governmental program) and to provide DRV through this trial until the participants can switched to locally available DRV-based treatment regimens (that is commercially available and reimbursed, or accessible through another source \[for example, access program or government program\]) or to local standard of care, as appropriate.
