NCT04576988
The objectives of this study are to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sotatercept (MK-7962) treatment (plus background pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) therapy) versus placebo (plus background PAH therapy) at 24 weeks in adults with PAH. The primary hypothesis of the study is that the participants receiving sotatercept will have improved 6-minute walk distance (6MWD) at 24 weeks compared to participants receiving placebo.
NCT03955146
This is a Phase 3 trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of 30 milligrams (mg)/kilogram (kg) intravenous (IV) infusions of pamrevlumab administered every 3 weeks as compared to placebo in participants with IPF.
NCT02134067
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety of TAS-119 and determine the most appropriate dose in combination with Paclitaxel for subsequent studies in patients with advanced solid tumors. TAS-119 is a novel, selective Aurora A kinase inhibitor, which has previously been demonstrated to enhance the activity of paclitaxel in preclinical studies
NCT02286492
The objective of the program is to provide access to TAS-102 to patients with metastatic colorectal cancer who are refractory to or failing standard chemotherapy, are new to therapy with TAS-102 and in whom therapy with TAS-102 is clinically indicated.
NCT00400179
This is an open-label, international, two-arm, parallel, randomized, Phase 3 study evaluating the efficacy and safety of S-1/cisplatin versus 5-FU/cisplatin in patients with advanced gastric cancer previously untreated with chemotherapy for advanced disease. Patients will be randomly assigned (1:1) to S-1/cisplatin (experimental arm) or 5-FU/cisplatin (control arm). Patients will be stratified by number of metastatic sites (one vs. more than one), locally advanced or metastatic disease, prior adjuvant therapy (yes or no), measurable or non-measurable disease, and center.
NCT04825678
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of erenumab on medication-specific treatment satisfaction.
NCT03845517
Assessment of PF-06700841 in participants with moderate to severe active, generalized Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) that have inadequate response to standard of care.
NCT05567783
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of VIR-2482 compared to placebo in preventing influenza A illness in healthy adults 18 to \<65 years of age without pre-existing risk factors for serious complications from influenza infection.
NCT04907396
The IWCR is a global scientific study aimed at better understanding the opportunities and barriers for reducing the prevalence of obesity by collecting information from people who have experience with weight management in their everyday lives. The investigators seek to gather information on a wide range of weight management experiences, ranging from weight loss and weight loss maintenance to weight gain and inability to lose weight.
NCT05449418
The ENSPIRE study is a cluster-randomized comparative effectiveness trial being conducted within long-term care and residential facilities that will test a communication and engagement strategy for increasing COVID-19 booster vaccination rates against an enhanced usual care comparator (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or other national organization vaccine education and communication materials) among facility staff. The communication and engagement strategy being tested includes (1) the development of materials co-designed with and tailored to facility staff whose primary language is a language other than English or who are from certain cultural affinity groups and (2) the distribution of the developed materials by members of the language/cultural affinity groups with peer advocacy activities (full intervention). The study is being conducted in Washington state and Georgia. Long-term care/residential facilities will be asked to furnish their staff booster rate at 4 timepoints: pre-intervention, and one month (timepoint 1), 3 months (timepoint 2), and 6 months (timepoint 3) post-intervention. Staff at participating long-term care facilities will be invited to complete three online surveys at 3 timepoints: pre-intervention, 3 months post-intervention and 6 months post-intervention. Long-term care facilities will be randomized to a trial arm following the pre-intervention data collection.
NCT02025803
The purpose of this exploratory study is to investigate the safety and determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of TAS-114 in combination with capecitabine in patients with advanced solid tumors for which the patients have no available therapy likely to convey clinical benefit.
NCT01838395
A study is designed to assess if BL-8040 in combination with cytarabine (Ara-C) can help controlling the disease in patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) that have relapsed or did not respond adequately to previous treatment. The safety of the study drug combination will also be studied.
NCT03604783
TP-1287 is an oral phosphate prodrug of the CDK9 inhibitor, alvocidib. This is a Phase 1, open-label, dose-escalation, dose-expansion, safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamic study, with a purpose of determining the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) of oral TP-1287 in patients with advanced metastatic or progressive solid tumors who are refractory to, or intolerant of, established therapy known to provide clinical benefit for their condition.
NCT03865979
To evaluate the performance of the Viz RECRUIT software in subjects identified as symptomatic of a stroke event as determined by standard of care imaging assessments and interpretation.
NCT05537753
The objective of this study is to establish reasonable assurance of safety, effectiveness, and noninferiority of the Encore PFO closure device when compared to any investigator chosen FDA-approved PFO closure device.
NCT03906656
Prospective, international, multi-center, open-labeled, randomized, controlled cross-over trial to evaluate effectiveness and benefits in patients with lower limb impairment in activities of daily living comparing the C-Brace microprocessor-controlled stance and swing orthosis to standard of care use of knee ankle foot orthosis/stance control orthoses
NCT05005182
This phase II trial studies the effects of luspatercept with or without hydroxyurea in treating patients with myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative neoplasms with ring sideroblasts and thrombocytosis or unclassifiable with ring sideroblasts. Biological therapies, such as luspatercept, use substances made from living organisms that may stimulate or suppress the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Hydroxyurea may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving luspatercept with or without hydroxyurea may help doctors determine what doses of the combination is safe for patients to take and how the disease responds to the treatment.
NCT05640245
This is a study to demonstrate the clinical efficacy and safety of the nanobody® sonelokimab administered subcutaneously (sc) compared with placebo in the treatment of adult participants with active psoriatic arthritis. The study includes adalimumab treatment as an active reference arm.
NCT05050669
The purpose of this prospective study is to characterize the natural history of ENPP1 Deficiency and the early-onset form of ABCC6 Deficiency longitudinally. The study will prospectively gather information about the biochemical, physiological, anatomic, radiographic, and functional manifestations (including patient reported outcomes) of each disease.
NCT05941793
