This study is one single group of participants with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have not been cured by other treatments. It is the first time the drug has been used in humans. There will be two parts and a sub-study. The primary purpose of the parts are: * Dose Escalation: To investigate the safety and tolerability and to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and the recommended dose for expansion (RDE) of DS-1062a * Dose Expansion: To investigate the safety and tolerability of DS-1062a in additional solid tumors This study is expected to last approximately 6 years from the time the first participant is enrolled to the time the last subject is off the study. Study sites are located in both the United States and Japan. The number of treatment cycles is not fixed in this study. Participants who continue to benefit from the study treatment may continue, unless: * they withdraw * their disease gets worse * they experience unacceptable side effects. The primary purpose of the sub-study is to compare the effectiveness of steroid versus non-steroid mouthwash as prophylaxis against oral mucositis/stomatitis in participants receiving DS-1062a. The sub-study is a randomized study that will include approximately 76 participants enrolling into the Dose Expansion part.

Current strategies for peripheral nerve repair are severely limited. Even with current techniques, it can take months for regenerating axons to reach denervated target tissues when injuries are proximally located. This inability to rapidly restore the loss of function after axonal injury continues to produce poor clinical outcomes. The investigators propose testing the efficacy and safety of a combination therapy: polyethylene glycol (PEG) assisted axonal fusion technique to repair peripheral nerve injuries in humans.

There is currently no standard treatment to prevent burn depth conversion in partial-thickness burns. Conversion into deeper wounds is associated with higher complications and morbidity. The most common theory attributes this depth conversion to the prolonged inflammatory response that occurs after burn injury. Therefore, the investigators propose testing the safety and efficacy of tacrolimus ointment (an immunosuppressive agent) in patients with deep partial-thickness burns.

This is a Phase 2 clinical study to support the use of AFX3772 in healthy infants for the prevention of pneumococcal disease. The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of 3 different formulations of AFX3772 compared with Prevnar 13 (PCV13) and Prevnar 20 (PCV). Part 1 is the dose escalation, lead-in portion of the study in which infants at each dose level will be randomized 3:1 in sequential cohorts of increasing doses of AFX3772 or PCV13. In Part 2, infants will be randomized to receive either one of two dose levels of AFX3772 or PCV20.

This exploratory trial will have three parts. Part A is a dose escalation part, Part B is an expanded safety and dose evaluation part, and Part C is a safety and immunogenicity evaluation part in individuals with recurrent HSV-2 genital herpes. Part A will focus on the safety evaluations, and in addition, vaccine-induced immune responses (specifically neutralizing antibodies) will also be analyzed to assess if there is a dose-response. Part B of the trial will expand the safety characterization for two dose levels of BNT163 selected based on Part A data and will also enable a more comprehensive assessment of the impact of pre-existing immunity to HSV-1 and -2 on the safety and immune responses to BNT163. Part C will evaluate safety and immunogenicity of BNT163 compared to a placebo in a three-dose regimen in participants with a history of HSV-2 recurrent genital herpes.

We want to determine the optimal number of needles to use for future EBUS bronchoscopy procedures like the one you are scheduled to have for your care and investigate the economic and environmental impact and time involved in using one versus two needles.

HearVA involves six VA facility emergency departments (ED) over a 3-year intervention period. The first part of this study will test whether providing personal amplifiers to Veteran ED patients who self-report hearing difficulty is acceptable to these patients, can improve their hearing, enhance understanding of discharge instructions, and can reduce the risk of coming back to the ED in a short period of time (3 days and 30 days). The second part of the study will then identify whether ED staff can implement this program and achieve similar results. The second part will give ED staff increasing levels of responsibility for screening Veterans for hearing difficulty and providing personal amplifiers when such difficulty is detected.

This phase I trial is studying the safety, side effects, and best dose of gilteritinib in treating patients with stage IV ALK positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have progressed on other treatments. While there are many approved targeted drugs for ALK NSCLC, resistance to these drugs frequently occur. Giltertinib is a drug that is already FDA approved for the treatment of a specific type of leukemia. However, studies using ALK positive lung cancer cells demonstrate activity of gilteritinib against these resistant cells. Therefore, in this clinical trial, the investigators plan to study the effect of giltertinib in patients with ALK NSCLC.

Patients with recurrent pericarditis who are refractory or intolerant to current therapeutic management options or who require long-term administration of corticosteroids to control their disease are particularly challenging to manage. The pathogenesis of pericarditis involves the activation of the inflammasome. CardiolRxTM (a pure cannabidiol \[CBD\] solution) is known to have anti-inflammatory properties, including modulation of inflammasome signaling. This pilot study is to assess the tolerance and safety of CardiolRxTM during the resolution of pericarditis symptoms, assess improvement in objective measures of disease, and during the extension period, assess the feasibility of weaning concomitant background therapy including corticosteroids while taking CardiolRxTM.
