NCT00058357
RATIONALE: A lidocaine patch may be effective in relieving numbness, tingling, and other symptoms of neuropathy. It is not yet known whether a lidocaine patch is effective in treating neuropathy in patients who have undergone surgery for cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying lidocaine patch to see how well it works compared to a placebo patch in relieving numbness, tingling, and other symptoms of neuropathy in patients who have undergone surgery for cancer.
NCT02224053
This is a Phase 1, open-label, 2-period fixed sequence design to evaluate the interaction of AZD9291 with omeprazole in approximately 50 healthy, adult male volunteers. Volunteers will receive Treatment A (AZD9291 and omeprazole) in Period 1 and Treatment B (AZD9291 only) in Period 2. The dose of AZD9291 in Period 1 and the dose of AZD9291 in Period 2 will be separated by a washout of at least 21 days (the washout will not be more than 5 weeks). The study will be performed at up to 2 sites in the USA and will assess the effect of omeprazole (proton pump inhibitor) on AZD9291 exposure
NCT02079883
This is a multicenter, prospective, observational, Phase 4 study that will assess clinical outcomes and safety of JETREA® administered in a real-world setting for the treatment of symptomatic vitreomacular adhesion (VMA) by assessing anatomical and functional outcomes in 1500 patients recruited across approximately 120 USA retina sites.
NCT01798485
The purpose of this study is to determine whether combining ganetespib (STA-9090) with docetaxel is more effective than docetaxel alone in the treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT01955707
The primary objective of the study is to determine whether one 300 mg dose of intravenous (IV) natalizumab reduces change in infarct volume from Baseline to Day 5 on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in participants with acute ischemic stroke when given at ≤6 hours or at \>6 to ≤9 hours from when they were last known normal (LKN). The secondary objectives of this study in this study population are as follows: to assess the efficacy of natalizumab on change in infarct volume from Baseline to Day 30; to assess efficacy of natalizumab on change in infarct volume from 24 hours to Day 5 and Day 30; to assess the efficacy of natalizumab on clinical measures of stroke outcome; to assess the safety of natalizumab in participants with acute ischemic stroke.
NCT01587079
The primary objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of Glycopyrrolate/Formoterol Fumarate MDI relative to individual components (GP MDI and FF MDI) in subjects with moderate to severe COPD
NCT01194414
This randomized, double-blind, parallel group study compares the efficacy and safety of subcutaneous (sc) versus intravenous (iv) administration of tocilizumab in participants with moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis. Participants were randomized to receive either tocilizumab 162 mg sc weekly plus iv placebo every 4 weeks, or tocilizumab 8 mg/kg iv every 4 weeks plus sc placebo weekly during the double-blind period from baseline to Week 24. The double-blind period was followed by a 72-week open-label treatment with some switching of sc and iv administration. No placebo was administered in the open-label phase. Participants continued on their stable dose of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) throughout the study. Anticipated time on study treatment was 2 years.
NCT00360555
This trial is designed to assess the safety and efficacy of flibanserin in the treatment of premenopausal women with Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD) that meets standard diagnostic criteria. Efficacy for flibanserin will be assessed vs. a parallel placebo group.
NCT00653185
The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy, safety and tolerability of SYR-472, once daily (QD), in subjects with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
NCT00087607
This study will examine the viral kinetics and pharmacokinetics of Pegasys plus ribavirin and PEG-Intron plus ribavirin in interferon-naive patients with CHC. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
NCT00360243
This trial is designed to assess the safety and efficacy of flibanserin in the treatment of premenopausal women with Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD) that meet standard diagnostic criteria. Efficacy for flibanserin will be assessed vs. a parallel placebo group.
