NCT02141854
The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of fluticasone propionate (Fp) multidose dry powder inhaler (MDPI) and fluticasone propionate/salmeterol xinafoate (FS) MDPI when administered over 12 weeks in patients 12 years of age and older with persistent asthma.
NCT02195700
The purpose of this study is to determine whether an investigational drug, SD-809 (deutetrabenazine), will reduce the severity of abnormal involuntary movements of tardive dyskinesia.
NCT00177047
This is a study of a regimen of melphalan and autologous stem cells for patients with multiple myeloma. We hypothesize that this particular regimen will improve the survival of these patients.
NCT02929329
The purpose of this study is to determine if treatment with omecamtiv mecarbil when added to standard of care is well tolerated and superior to placebo in reducing the risk of cardiovascular death or heart failure events in adults with chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF).
NCT03308968
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of monthly and quarterly subcutaneous (sc) injections of fremanezumab compared with sc injections of placebo in participants with chronic migraine (CM) or episodic migraine (EM) who have responded inadequately to 2 to 4 classes of prior preventive treatments. Approximately equal numbers of participants from each subgroup (CM and EM) are randomized in blinded-fashion 1:1:1 into one of 3 treatments for the subgroup - 2 active treatments and 1 placebo treatment- consisting of monthly injections for 3 months (up to Week 12). Then all participants continue into an open-label extension of 3 months (up to Week 24) during which everyone is administered sc injections of fremanezumab.
NCT02452190
The primary objective of this study is to determine the effect of reslizumab (110 mg) administered subcutaneously every 4 weeks on clinical asthma exacerbations in adults and adolescents with asthma and elevated blood eosinophils who are inadequately controlled on standard-of-care asthma therapy.
NCT02969408
This is a Phase 3B, 12-week, multicenter, open-label study to evaluate the relationship between albuterol sulfate (ABS) eMDPI and clinical asthma exacerbation (CAE) in adult participants at least 18 years of age with exacerbation-prone asthma. The ABS eMDPI dose will be 90 micrograms (mcg), 1 to 2 inhalations every 4 hours as needed, but participant dosing will not be limited to this dosing regimen. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between albuterol dosing and CAE.
NCT02212574
Participants enrolling on this study will receive standard of care chemotherapy for Wnt positive medulloblastoma without the radiation therapy or the weekly chemotherapy that is given during radiation therapy.
NCT02365636
This is a study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 4% and 8% w/w TV 45070 ointment compared with placebo ointment applied topically and twice daily to the area of PHN pain for 4 weeks in patients with PHN
NCT03571256
Standard placebo-controlled, double-blind study design (TEV-50717 \[low dose and high dose\] vs. placebo in a 1:1:1 ratio) was chosen to determine whether study drug treatment results in a statistically significant effect on the tics in participants with TS.
NCT02411539
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and effect of an experimental human monoclonal antibody (mAb), VRC-HIVMAB060-00-AB (VRC01), in adults infected with HIV who were receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART).
NCT00992017
Both pregnant women and people infected with HIV are at increased risk of viral infection, including influenza infection. Pregnant women infected with HIV may be at particular risk of infection from the new H1N1 influenza virus. This study tested the safety and immunogenicity of an H1N1 influenza vaccine in pregnant women infected with HIV.
NCT02269163
Phase 3 multicenter, open-label study of safety, tolerability, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of ProMetic's Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human) 10%, the investigational medicinal product \[IMP\]), in Adults and Children with Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases (PIDD).
NCT00006604
The purpose of this study was to find a safe and tolerable dose of the protease inhibitor (PI) atazanavir (ATV), with or without a low-dose boost of the PI ritonavir (RTV), when taken with other anti-HIV drugs in HIV infected infants, children, and adolescents. Advancements in anti-HIV drugs for HIV infected children and adolescents have been hard to make, in part because these patients often do not take the drugs as prescribed. ATV may be a better option because it is available in the form of powder which children and adolescents may be more willing to take regularly. Using a low dose of RTV as a boosting agent for ATV may also increase the chances of virologic response of highly active antiretroviral treatment (HAART)-experienced patients. This study aimed to find safe and tolerable doses of ATV with or without low-dose RTV boost in infants, children, and adolescents. For this study, participants were enrolled in the United States and South Africa.
NCT01490450
The purpose of this study is to characterize the safety, efficacy and dose response of BMS-945429 in subjects with active Psoriatic Arthritis and an inadequate response to Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and non-biologic Disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs).
NCT02561234
This is the first-in-human study of the safety of increasing dose levels of AEB1102 in patients with advanced cancers. The study will also evaluate the amounts of AEB1102 in blood, the effects of AEB1102 on blood amino acid levels and tumor growth.
NCT01178125
This is an open-label, single treatment study. All subjects will receive 12 months of oral contraceptive therapy with DR-102. Study participants will receive physical and gynecological exams, including Pap smear. During the study, all participants will be required to complete a daily diary.
NCT02522780
The purpose of this trial was to investigate the safety and efficacy of mesalamine 2 g extended release granules (sachet) once a day (QD) for maintenance of clinical and endoscopic remission in subjects with UC. The duration of treatment for each subject was 6 months.
