NCT01721057
The purpose of this study is to determine whether baricitinib 4 milligram (mg) once daily (QD) is superior to placebo in the treatment of participants with moderately to severely active Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) who have had inadequate response to or are intolerant to at least 1 conventional disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (cDMARD)(cDMARD-IR \[inadequate response\] participants) and who have not received a biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD).
NCT00355849
A study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Human Insulin Inhalation Powder \[also known as AIR® Inhaled Insulin\]\[AIR® is a registered trademark of Alkermes,Inc.\] in patients with Type 2 diabetes who are currently being treated with once daily insulin glargine injections. The present study is intended to determine if mealtime AIR® Insulin may be superior to once-daily insulin glargine injections.
NCT02688764
This is a Phase 3, Open-label, Randomised, Active-controlled, Parallel Group, Multicentre Study to Investigate the Safety and Efficacy of PA21 (Velphoro®) and Calcium Acetate (Phoslyra®) in Paediatric and Adolescent CKD Patients with Hyperphosphataemia. The aim of this Phase 3 clinical study is to demonstrate similar efficacy of PA21 (Velphoro) in paediatric and adolescent patients with CKD, and to provide safety and dosing information for this patient population. The Phoslyra (comparator) group provides information for a descriptive comparison of PA21 against a commonly used calcium-based phosphate binder (calcium acetate).
NCT01900652
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the study drug known as LY2875358, administered alone or in combination with a second drug named Erlotinib, in participants affected by a defined type of lung cancer (MET biomarker diagnostic positive Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer) that experienced a disease progression during the most recent treatment with Erlotinib.
NCT02518113
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of the study drug known as LY3039478 in combination with dexamethasone in participants with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-ALL/T-LBL).
NCT00157339
Phase 3 , open-label, randomized study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Lilly/Alkermes inhaled insulin system compared to injected insulin in type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients with asthma or COPD. Patients will be treated for 12 months with a 2 month follow up period.
NCT01890967
This study is designed to define the amount and duration of cholesterol lowering and to assess the safety and tolerability of different dose regimens of LY3015014 in participants with high cholesterol. The study will also investigate how the body processes the drug and how the drug affects the body. Participants will remain on a stable diet and will continue taking cholesterol-lowering medications (statins with or without ezetimibe). After signing the informed consent document, the participant will complete a screening/run-in period that will last at most 8 weeks. Then, the treatment period will last approximately 16 weeks. After the treatment period, the participants will complete a follow-up period lasting approximately 8 weeks for a total study duration ranging from approximately 25 to 32 weeks.
NCT02718898
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the study drug ixekizumab compared to placebo in participants with moderate-to-severe genital psoriasis.
NCT01602120
This is a multicenter, open-label extension study of safety and tolerability of lampalizumab administered by intravitreal (ITV) injection to participants with geographic atrophy (GA) who have completed the 18-month treatment in Study CFD4870g (GX01456) (NCT01229215) or 24-week treatment in Study GX29455 (NCT02288559).
NCT03305484
Specific Aims 1. Develop risk assessment scores for SCL wearers 2. Test the scoring algorithm in SCL wearers who present with adverse events 3. Explore targeted patient education to reduce risk behaviors associated with SCL wear.
NCT01890746
The purpose of this randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled study was to provide clinical safety and exploratory efficacy data on the use of Eltrombopag in adult subjects with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) receiving standard induction chemotherapy with daunorubicin plus cytarabine. A minimum of 120 evaluable subjects newly diagnosed with AML was stratified by antecedent malignant hematologic disorder and age.
NCT00988858
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of LY2603618 in combination with pemetrexed and any side effects that might be associated with it along with determining the effects of LY2603618 in combination with pemetrexed in participants with advanced or metastatic Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).
NCT01505530
This phase 2 study is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in participants with locally advanced/inoperable or metastatic pancreatic cancer, and will investigate 2 different doses of LY2495655 in combination with standard of care chemotherapy.
NCT01098266
The main objective of the trial is to document the efficacy of NGR-hTNF administered at low dose weekly in advanced Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma patients previously treated with a pemetrexed-based chemotherapy regimen.
NCT01815476
Participants undergoing radiation after breast conserving surgery for an early breast cancer (either Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS), or Early Stage Invasive breast cancer), and are at increased risk of developing a skin reaction because of their large breast size. After breast conserving surgery (also known as a 'lumpectomy'), women with either DCIS or early stage invasive breast cancer receive radiation to the breast to decrease the risk of cancer recurrence. Breast radiation is usually done with women lying on their back ("supine"). Some women develop temporary breakdown of the skin (moist desquamation). This skin reaction can be painful and has been linked to long term side effects such as chronic pain and decreased quality of life. This study is being done because women with large breasts have higher rates of skin breakdown (called 'moist desquamation') and breast pain during and shortly after radiation therapy is complete. It is unclear if such skin reactions and pain would be improved by alternating treatment position - namely lying on your belly ("prone") during their radiation treatment.
NCT02797821
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of asfotase alfa in adult participants with pediatric-onset HPP.
NCT01663857
A study for women with ovarian cancer that has returned at least 6 months after platinum-based chemotherapy.
NCT01144377
The primary objectives of this study include evaluating the dose response of LY2541546 using bone mineral density (BMD) change from baseline as compared to placebo and evaluating the overall safety and tolerability of LY2541546 following multiple subcutaneous administrations in postmenopausal (PMP) women with low BMD. Following the last dose of study drug, participants will be able to participate in a 12 month extension to collect additional safety and efficacy data (no further treatment will be administered during this extension).
NCT01170663
This is a Phase III randomized multicenter double-blind, placebo controlled trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of paclitaxel plus ramucirumab (IMC-1211B) drug product (DP) compared to paclitaxel plus placebo.
NCT02132637
The primary purpose of this study is to compare the effect of a double dose of a study drug known as insulin peglispro to a double dose of insulin glargine in participants who have type 2 diabetes. Participants will be treated with study insulin daily, in two 4-week study periods. Each participant will receive insulin peglispro during one treatment period and insulin glargine during the other treatment period.
