NCT04276935
This trial develops a health-related symptom index for participants with and either treated or monitored for anal high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions. The health-related quality of life index may help to capture the symptoms and related experiences of living with or being treated for high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions.
NCT01536886
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether LEO 90100 and calcipotriol plus betamethasone are effective in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.
NCT05597267
This study is being conducted to evaluate the performance and efficacy of the AVAVA MIRIA Laser Skin System treatment on acne scars. Participants will be treated with the MIRIA laser at least 4 times with each treatment spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The improvement of acne scars will be evaluated at 1 month and 3 months with a possibility of 6 months evaluation after the fourth treatment.
NCT02636855
This screening study is intended for men and women ≥ 18 to ≤ 75 years of age who have advanced solid or hematologic malignancy. The study will assess a subject's human leukocyte antigen (HLA) subtype and tumor antigen expression profile. Based on the results, it will be determined if a subject is eligible to be considered for Adaptimmune sponsored clinical trials testing the safety and efficacy of genetically changed T cells targeting specific tumor antigens. No treatment intervention will occur as part of this screening study. Upon enrollment, subjects will be required to provide a blood sample for HLA subtype analysis. If the results of the analysis match the HLA-A subtypes noted in the inclusion criteria and do not express the HLA subtypes that are exclusionary for the available interventional clinical trial(s), then the subject will be required to provide either an archival tumor specimen or fresh tumor tissue biopsy. The tumor specimen will be screened at a central laboratory for the expression (protein or gene) of multiple antigens which may include, but are not limited to MAGE-A4. Based upon the results of these diagnostic analyses, if eligible, subjects will be referred to an appropriate available interventional clinical trial(s) at the discretion of the Investigator. Following screening, tumor samples will be retained by Adaptimmune for the purpose of developing and validating in vitro diagnostic (IVD) assay(s) for antigen expression profiling which is required for regulatory approval of a new therapeutic product indication.
NCT04380805
This is a Phase 2, global, multicenter, open label, single arm study designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (PK), and immunogenicity of AK104 monotherapy in adult subjects with previously treated recurrent or metastatic cervical carcinoma.
NCT02010242
NADPH oxidase enzymes (NOX) have been implicated in the development of several diabetic complications including diabetic nephropathy. GKT137831 is the first in class NOX1/4 inhibitor. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of oral GKT137831 in patients with residual albuminuria despite maximal inhibition of the renin angiotensin aldosterone system.
NCT03562377
The purpose of this trial is to test if treatment with the trial drug, tralokinumab, can affect the body's immune response to vaccines. The trial will also evaluate the efficacy of tralokinumab when it is given concomitantly with vaccines. The trial includes a screening period of 2 to 6 weeks, a treatment period of 16 weeks (Weeks 0 to 16), and a 14-week off-treatment follow-up period for the assessment of safety (Weeks 16 to 30). Eligible subjects may transfer to an open-label, long-term trial at Week 16 or later.
NCT03533257
The study is a 24-week, randomized, double-blind, multi-site, placebo-controlled study in participants with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early dementia due to Alzheimer's disease (AD).
NCT06211062
This clinical study aims to evaluate the use of i3.1 probiotic in participants who meet the Institute of Medicine (Canadian Consensus Criteria) case definition for ME/CFS and who may or may not be diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The main questions it aims to answer are: * how effective is the usage of the i3.1 probiotic to reduce gastrointestinal (GI) inflammation and normalize the GI and systemic/brain interface? * how well is it working on IBS severity? The study sample is 100 male and female participants aged 45 to 70 years with ME/CFS (per the Canadian Consensus Criteria); one-half of the participants will have co-morbid IBS (per Rome IV criteria). Participants will receive an i3.1 or a placebo and be assessed at baseline, at eight weeks, and at 12 weeks (four weeks post-treatment completion).
NCT03131648
Primary objective: To evaluate the efficacy of tralokinumab compared with placebo in treating moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD). Secondary objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of tralokinumab on severity and extent of AD, itch, and health related quality of life compared with placebo. Maintenance objective: To evaluate maintenance of effect with continued tralokinumab dosing up to 52 weeks compared to placebo for subjects achieving clinical response at Week 16.
NCT04052516
A Phase 2b study to evaluate the efficacy of different doses of NST-4016 on the resolution of NASH without worsening of fibrosis
NCT04032704
This trial will study ladiratuzumab vedotin (LV) alone and with pembrolizumab to find out if it works to treat different types of solid tumors. It will also find out what side effects may occur. A side effect is anything the drug does besides treating cancer.
NCT05789524
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of prophylactic SerpinPC administered subcutaneously (SC) to participants with severe hemophilia A (HemA) (with or without inhibitors) or moderately severe to severe hemophilia B (HemB) (without inhibitors) as part of the SerpinPC registrational program. This study consists of 3 parts: Part 1: dose-justification phase, Part 2: dose-confirmatory phase, Part 3: extension phase for participants who complete either Part 1 or Part 2. This adaptive design study has a randomized dose-justification component to investigate the efficacy and safety of SerpinPC as a therapeutic option, principally for participants with HemB without inhibitors. SerpinPC has a novel mechanism of action compared with marketed treatments and those that are in development.
NCT02338947
Frailty is defined as a geriatric syndrome of impaired resiliency to stressors (such as cardiac surgery) that has been delineated recently in the cardiovascular literature. One of the most controversial areas of cardiac surgery has been whether off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB) surgery is superior to conventional on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery. There is an ongoing debate about the benefits and disadvantages of OPCAB surgery and we believe that this remains an important technique for the improvement of coronary surgery. The benefits of CABG surgery in frail patients are still undetermined. The aim of this study is to clarify the potential benefit of OPCAB surgery in pre-frail and frail patients by comparing off-pump versus on-pump CABG in these patients.
NCT05978531
This is an open-label, multicenter, observational study of the adherence of patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) prescribed Bafiertam (monomethyl fumarate) as their treatment.
NCT00353496
The study will compare the difference between lanreotide Autogel and placebo on progression free survival in patients who have an endocrine tumour in the pancreas or intestines.
NCT04236856
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of robotic-assisted endovascular embolization procedures compared to objective performance criteria for traditional, manual operation based on the scientific literature.
