The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity of suptavumab (REGN2222) in infants born no more than 35 weeks, 6 days gestational age who are no more than 6 months of age at the time of enrollment in their respective geographic location. In order to optimize the potential benefit in this vulnerable population, we conducted this study during the RSV season using dosing regimens that are expected to be effective.

Background: Sjögren's syndrome is an autoimmune disease (where the immune system attacks normal body tissues) that affects the salivary glands. Many people with Sjögren's syndrome are not able to make enough saliva because their salivary glands are inflamed. The dry mouth that results can interfere with daily activities and can lead to dental cavities, mouth sores, and infections. Injections of corticosteroids into the parotid glands can improve saliva production in people with Sjögren's syndrome, but current treatment practices may provide only temporary relief. Researchers are interested in studying the effectiveness of stronger corticosteroid injections (using dexamethasone) to determine how the corticosteroid treatment actually works. Objectives: \- To evaluate the effectiveness and mechanics of dexamethasone injections to improve saliva production in individuals with primary Sjögren's syndrome. Eligibility: \- Women between 18 and greater of age who have been diagnosed with primary Sjögren's syndrome, and have had a biopsy of the minor salivary glands in the past 5 years that shows a moderate level of inflammation. Design: * Participants will be screened with a full medical history and physical examination, blood and urine tests, and salivary gland biopsies. Participants will also be screened with tests of saliva flow production and evaluation of the salivary ducts and glands, and will complete questionnaires about dry mouth symptoms. * At the first treatment visit, participants will receive an injection of dexamethasone into one parotid gland and an injection of saline into the other gland. After the injections, participants will provide a blood sample to test the level of dexamethasone in the blood. * Two weeks after the first treatment, participants will return for an evaluation visit to have saliva flow rate measurements taken, and will complete a questionnaire about dry mouth symptoms. * Four weeks after the first treatment, participants will have a second treatment for each parotid gland, with the same tests and questionnaires as before. * Participants will have additional evaluation visits 6 and 8 weeks after the first treatment visit, with a followup telephone call approximately 6 weeks after the last dexamethasone treatment visit.

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a major dose-limiting side effect of many chemotherapeutic agents including vincristine, paclitaxel, cisplatin, oxaliplatin, bortezomib and ixabepilone. Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy commonly occurs in greater than 40% of patients. To improve the peripheral neuropathy, the chemotherapy dosing is often either decreased or discontinued potentially affecting tumor responsiveness, prognosis, and survival. There is an unmet medical need for treatment of cancer patients with chemotherapy induced neuropathic pain (CINP) and the proposed study will investigate the efficacy and safety of multiple dose levels of tetrodotoxin (TTX) versus placebo in moderate to severe neuropathic pain caused by chemotherapy.

Background: The number of patients with esophageal cancer keeps rising. For many patients, a combination of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation is necessary to completely treat the disease. Usually, patients receive chemotherapy and radiation at the same time followed by surgery to remove the part of the esophagus with the tumor (Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT)). Researchers want to learn how to make this treatment more effective. Objective: To see if biopsies before treatment can show which patients will do the best with a combination of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Eligibility: Adults at least 18 years old with esophageal adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma who should be treated with chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Design: Patients will undergo standard testing that is routine for all patients with this disease. These tests include: Medical history Physical exam with activity and nutritional assessment Standard lab tests Imaging studies including a computerized axial tomography (CAT) scan and positron-emission tomography (PET) scan Breathing test into a machine to measure size and function of lungs. Biopsy for a small sample of tumor is removed by esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD): A tube inserted into the mouth under anesthesia Endoscopic ultrasound is performed in some but not all patients. Patients will have nCRT at the clinic or with their local doctor. In 6 -12 weeks after nCRT, patients will undergo surgery with: 1. A robotically-assisted, minimally-invasive esophagectomy 2. Or, a traditional, open approach. After surgery, patients are usually in the hospital for 2 weeks and have a feeding tube for at least 2 weeks and potentially longer until they are eating enough to not lose weight. Patients will return for follow-up visits with labs and CAT scans every 6 months for the first two years then every year afterwards.

Funded by a unique private philanthropy and public coalition through THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, this project seeks to develop effective ways to deliver dementia care to older adults with memory disorders who live in the community. MIND at Home is an 18 month intervention research study whose goals are two-fold: To partner with community organizations to help proactively identify older adults in the Baltimore community who may need help related to memory disorders; To find out if providing person-centered, coordinated care will help older adults with memory disorders remain at home longer, as well other possible benefits. The investigators hypothesize that individuals with memory disorders that receive person-centered, coordinated care will have fewer unmet dementia-related needs, improved quality of life and function, fewer behavioral and depressive symptoms, and will be able to remain in their homes longer compared to individuals who receive augmented usual care.

RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Colony-stimulating factors, such as pegfilgrastim, may increase the number of immune cells found in bone marrow or peripheral blood and may help the immune system recover from the side effects of chemotherapy. Giving rituximab and cyclophosphamide together with pegfilgrastim may be effective in treating leukemia or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving rituximab and cyclophosphamide together with pegfilgrastim works in treating patients with B-cell leukemia, low-grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, or mantle cell lymphoma.

Preliminary data from the investigators' National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM)-funded R21 on mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) in HIV-infected youth suggest an association between mindfulness and improved self-regulation and medication adherence. This randomized, controlled trial will help the investigators to better understand the specific impact of MBSR on HIV medication and treatment adherence in HIV-infected youth, and the efficacy of MBSR in the amelioration of stress and improved self-regulation.

This open-label, non-randomized, multicenter, Phase 1/2 study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of alectinib in participants with non-small cell lung cancer who have ALK mutation and failed crizotinib treatment. In Part 1, cohorts of participants will receive escalating doses of alectinib orally twice daily. In Part 2, participants will receive the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of alectinib as determined in Part 1. Treatment will continue in Part 1 and Part 2 on the same dose until disease progression. In Part 3, following disease progression, participants without epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation will be offered continued treatment with alectinib, participants with EGFR mutations will be offered a combination of alectinib and erlotinib.

CSM (Cervical spondylotic myelopathy) is the most common cause of spinal cord injury worldwide. While there is evidence from the recently completed SpineNet prospective study that surgical decompression is an effective treatment for CSM, it is clear that many patients have remaining neurological impairment. While surgery is relatively safe, approximately 3% of patients maintain a neurological problem. Given this background and data from preclinical models of non-traumatic and traumatic spinal cord injury, there is strong evidence to consider the potential benefit of adding a neuroprotective drug which aids in the treatment of patients with CSM whom are undergoing surgical decompression. Riluzole is FDA-approved for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which has some similar clinical features to CSM. Riluzole is currently under investigation for traumatic spinal cord injury. Given this background, there is a strong basis to consider studying the potential neurological benefits of Riluzole as a treatment to surgical decompression in patients with CSM.

Each group of patients will be assigned to a dose level; Safety and tolerability of a low dose level will be required before proceeding to successively higher dose levels. Patients will be treated in accordance with the standard medical practice of the hospital where they have been recruited during their participation in this study. SAGIT® is a new instrument developed by a group of acromegaly experts to help practicing endocrinologists to manage acromegalic patients and disease activity in their clinical practice and define acromegaly staging. It reports 5 elements: Signs and symptoms - S; Associated comorbidities - A; Growth hormone (GH) concentration - G; Insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF-1) concentration -I; Tumour size- T. The instrument has been pre evaluated during a qualitative pilot study. The purpose of the validation study is to define and validate the scoring of the SAGIT® instrument.

The primary purpose of this trial was is to assess the effect of treatment with deferasirox combined with erythropoietin vs. erythropoietin alone on erythropoiesis in patients with low- and int-1-risk myelodysplastic syndrome. The addition of deferasirox to erythropoietin can lead to a potential synergism with the reduction of reactive oxygen species, through both the NF-kB pathway and the control of free toxic iron. This may create a better environment in the bone marrow for a better response with erythropoietin. This study was designed to test in a prospective way the combination of deferasirox with erythropoietin in terms of their effect on hematopoiesis.
