NCT06656416
The purpose of this study is to assess antidepressant efficacy differences between ALTO-100 and placebo during the Double-Blind period in patients with bipolar disorder I or II with current major depressive episode, when used adjunctively to a mood stabilizer and/or atypical antipsychotic, related to patient characteristics. Additionally, safety, tolerability, and efficacy will be assessed in a subsequent open label treatment period.
NCT06042920
The purpose of this study is to measure the safety and effectiveness of deucravatinib in participants with non-pustular palmoplantar psoriasis and genital psoriasis.
NCT03148327
This study uses durvalumab (MEDI 4736), an experimental type of drug made by Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, (limited partnership) LP, which in early studies has shown to possibly reduce the growth of certain types of lung cancer. The Investigators will enroll up to 105 subjects into the study. After an initial safety sample of 15 individuals receiving durvalumab (MEDI 4736) and Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR), if it is shown to be safe to administer this combination of therapies, the next enrolled subjects will be randomized in a 1:1 fashion (each subject with a "50-50 chance" like the flip of a coin) to receive either SABR and durvalumab (MEDI 4736), or SABR alone. Once treatment is completed, all subjects will return to the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) for regular follow-up visits to check on their health and outcomes. At visits both prior to and after treatment special blood samples will be drawn to be studied by UCLA scientists to look into the basic science aspects of how durvalumab (MEDI 4736) and radiation work in the body. It is hoped that we will learn more about the basic safety and science of durvalumab (MEDI 4736) combined with Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR) vs. SABR alone, while extending the life and quality of life of these subjects.
NCT06062329
Evaluation of the Safety and Efficacy of the Symphony Thrombectomy System in the Treatment of Pulmonary Embolism
NCT03725059
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab (MK-3475) versus placebo in combination with neoadjuvant (pre-surgery) chemotherapy and adjuvant (post-surgery) endocrine therapy in the treatment of adults who have high-risk early-stage estrogen receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (ER+/HER2-) breast cancer. The primary study hypotheses are: 1) pembrolizumab is superior to placebo, both in combination with the protocol-specified neoadjuvant anticancer therapy, as assessed by pathological Complete Response (pCR) rate defined by the local pathologist, and 2) pembrolizumab is superior to placebo (both in combination with the protocol-specified neoadjuvant and adjuvant anticancer therapies) as assessed by Event-Free Survival (EFS) as determined by the investigator. The study is considered to have met its primary objective if pembrolizumab is superior to placebo with respect to either pCR (ypT0/Tis ypN0) or EFS.
NCT00365157
This phase I/II trial studies the effect of eribulin mesylate and to see how well it works in treating patients with cancer of the urothelium that has spread to nearby tissue (locally advanced) or to other places in the body (metastatic)and kidney dysfunction. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as eribulin mesylate, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Chemotherapy drugs may have different effects in patients who have changes in their kidney function.
NCT05147233
This was a randomized, double-masked, vehicle-controlled, Phase 3 study evaluating the efficacy and safety of OCS-01 QD compared to vehicle in the treatment of inflammation and pain following cataract surgery.
NCT04915755
This study will assess the efficacy and safety of Niraparib in participants with either tumor mutation in the BRCA gene (tBRCAmut) HER2- breast cancer (Independent of hormone receptor \[HR\] status, including HR positive \[+\] and TNBC) or tumor BRCA wild type (tBRCAwt) TNBC with molecular disease based on the presence of circulating tumor Deoxyribonucleic acid (ctDNA) following surgery or completion of adjuvant therapy.
NCT05328297
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of JNJ-55308942 compared to placebo on symptoms of depression in participants with bipolar disorder (BD) in a major depressive episode (MDE) at Week 6.
NCT06539676
The purpose of this research study is to see if Nighttime Aligners (worn 10-12 hours per day or night) are effective and safe for tooth movement and if so, how they compare with the standard Daytime aligners (worn 20-22 hours per day), in adults and children from 12 years of age and older. It will investigate the efficacy and performance of the treatments, as well as the safety of the investigational device and comparator. The main objectives are: * Comparison between the two groups concerning actual vs planned tooth movements (measured by changes in tooth position) * Comparison between the two groups concerning the incidence of device or dental related AEs. * Overall dentist and participant satisfaction with the treatment. Participants will: * Be given orthodontic aligner therapy with the Daytime (20-22h/day) or Nighttime (10-12h/day) Aligners (randomly assigned) * Attend approximately 5 study during approximately 8-10 months
NCT05639933
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about HT-001 Topical Gel for treatment of EGFR inhibitor-induced skin toxicities. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Determine the therapeutic effect of HT-001 for treatment of patients who develop acneiform rash undergoing Epidermal Growth Factor inhibitor (EGFRI) therapy using the acneiform rash investigator's global assessment scale \[ARIGA\] * Evaluate the safety of HT-001 during treatment Participants will apply HT-001 Gel once per day for 6 weeks, during which the effect on treating acneiform rash or other skin disorders induced by EGFRI therapy will be evaluated using different assessment tools to measure severity of rash, pain, and itching (pruritus), as well as the change in quality of life. The study will be completed in 2 periods: the first period is open-label (unblinded) and all patients will receive HT-001 topical gel with the active ingredient; the second period is blinded and patients will be randomized to receive one of three concentrations of HT-001 or placebo. Researchers will compare HT-001 to the placebo in the second period to see if HT-001 provides a significant treatment effect.

The purpose of this phase II is to study the efficacy and toxicity of carboplatin and paclitaxel with pertuzumab and trastuzumab in HER2 positive and carboplatin and paclitaxel with bevacizumab in HER2 negative in the neoadjuvant setting for the treatment of breast cancer.
NCT07062172
This is a single-armed screening research study which screens immediate family member of lung cancer patients with a driver mutation to see if lung cancer can be inherited and whether researchers can find lung cancer early. Immediate family members of lung cancer patients will be 40-80 years old and screened using a low dose CT scan.
NCT04189614
This study is being done to determine the efficacy and safety of cofetuzumab pelidotin in the PTK7-expressing, recurrent non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) population.
NCT02230072
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the maternal and fetal outcomes of a new technique for the fetoscopic repair of fetal MMC at Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women. The investigators hypothesis is that this minimally invasive technique is feasible, and that this approach will have the same efficacy as open fetal surgery for MMC, but with significantly less maternal-fetal risk. Both mother and baby will benefit from the surgery. The fetus will have a repaired MMC defect, and the mother will not have a uterine incision (hysterotomy). A hysterotomy increases the risk of uterine rupture and requires that all subsequent deliveries are by cesarean section. There may also be a decreased risk of Pre-term Premature Rupture Of Membranes (PPROM) and prematurity when compared with the current open operation. Finally, a vaginal delivery is possible following the fetoscopic fetal surgery if the baby is shown to have a skin covered repair.
NCT04239092
9-ING-41 has anti-cancer clinical activity with no significant toxicity in adult patients. This Phase 1 study will study its efficacy in paediatric patients with advanced malignancies.
NCT00941759
The purpose of this study is to study patients presenting with stage IV breast cancer. Stage IV means that the breast cancer has spread to another part of the body outside the breast. This study is important because in different parts of the country some patients are being offered surgical treatment for the breast tumor and some are not. The doctors do not know if surgery for the breast tumor is helpful in patients with stage IV breast cancer. The doctors will collect information about the patient and their treatment to learn more about how patients and doctors make treatment decisions. The doctor will also collect blood samples and tissue samples for laboratory studies to learn more about tumors that have spread to other parts of the body.
