NCT04153292
This study will establish the safety and effectiveness of the SAPIEN M3 System in subjects with symptomatic, at least 3+ mitral regurgitation (MR) for whom commercially available surgical or transcatheter treatment options are deemed unsuitable. Following completion of enrollment, subjects will be eligible for enrollment in the continued access phase of the trial.
NCT05913206
The goal of this clinical trial is to compare different strategies to communicate around potential risks and benefits related to treatment decision making in parents/adult caregivers of children with medical complexity. The objective of this study is to identify the most effective ways to communicate decision-related risks and benefits to improve the quality of caregiver decision making for children with medical complexity. Participants will view a video of a simulated clinic visit and related medical information and complete a survey about their experiences. Researchers will compare participant survey responses to see if decision quality changes based on the information reviewed by the participant.
NCT04851119
This phase I/II trial evaluates the highest safe dose, side effects, and possible benefits of tegavivint in treating patients with solid tumors that has come back (recurrent) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Tegavivint interferes with the binding of beta-catenin to TBL1, which may help stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the signals passed from one molecule to another inside a cell that tell a cell to grow.
NCT03016741
This clinical trial studies cognitive function in men with prostate cancer treated with androgen receptor directed therapies such as abiraterone acetate and enzalutamide. The investigators use MRI imaging (non-invasive, non-contrast) to see whether there are changes in brain structure or activity related to treatment that may be related to changes in cognitive function. The investigators are also looking for genetic variations that might make patients more or less sensitive to cognitive changes during treatment for prostate cancer.
NCT04924075
This is a study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of belzutifan monotherapy in participants with advanced pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma (PPGL), pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (pNET), von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease-associated tumors, advanced wt (wild-type) gastrointestinal stromal tumor (wt GIST), or advanced solid tumors with hypoxia inducible factor-2 alpha (HIF-2α) related genetic alterations. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the objective response rate (ORR) of belzutifan per response evaluation criteria in solid tumors version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1) by blinded independent central review (BICR).
NCT03400332
The purpose of this study is to investigate experimental medication BMS-986253 in combination with Nivolumab or Nivolumab plus Ipilimumab in participants with advanced cancers.
NCT05656027
Phase 3 study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of LNZ100 \& LNZ101 for the treatment of Presbyopia.
NCT06256367
Bipolar I disorder (BP-I) is a common, chronic, and disabling mental illness with significant morbidity and mortality defined by episodes of mania and depression (or symptoms of both at once, known as mixed features). This prospective, observational study will examine effectiveness, functioning and quality of life outcomes in adult patients with BP-I experiencing a major depressive episode (with or without mixed features) requiring treatment and initiating treatment with cariprazine. It will examine outcomes of cariprazine treatment in a real-world setting in patients with BP-I commonly seen in clinical practices. Cariprazine (Vraylar) is a medication indicated in the United States and Canada to treat adult patients experiencing manic, mixed or depressive episodes associated with BP-I. This study plans to enroll approximately 170 adult patients with BP-I from the United States and Canada. Cariprazine should be prescribed by the physician under the usual and customary practice of physician prescription. The decision to initiate treatment with cariprazine should be made prior to, and independently from, the patient's decision to participate in the study. Participants will receive cariprazine as prescribed by their physician. Observational data will be collected during visits which should align to routine standard of care for a duration of up to 24 weeks.
NCT00003641
RATIONALE: Interferon alfa may interfere with the growth of cancer cells. It is not yet known whether treatment with interferon alfa is more effective than observation alone for stage II or stage III melanoma that has been completely removed surgically. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying high dose interferon alfa to see how well it works compared to observation only in treating patients with stage II or stage III melanoma that has been completely removed by surgery.
NCT07266402
The purpose of this Phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study is to assess the activity and safety of barzolvolimab compared to placebo in participants with cold induced urticaria or symptomatic dermographism who remain symptomatic despite the use of H1-antihistamines.
NCT07216027
The purpose of this study is to learn if the study medicine (PF-08049820) is safe and effective for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD), also known as eczema, or atopic eczema. People with this condition may have severe itching and rashes on the skin. The study is seeking participants who: 1. Are 18 years of age or more; 2. Were confirmed to have AD at least 6 months ago; 3. Do not have a suitable prescribed medicine for AD; 4. Are considered by their doctors to have moderate to severe AD. Eligible participants will take either PF-08049820 or placebo as tablets by mouth daily for 12 weeks. A placebo does not have any medicine in it but looks just like the medicine being studied. Participants will visit the clinic on Day 1, Weeks 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12, and have a follow-up visit at Week 16. During this time, the participant's health and skin condition will be checked. Participants will have blood and urine tests and must answer questions about their health, skin condition, and how much their skin condition affects their lives. The experiences of participants receiving the study medicine will be compared to participants receiving placebo. This will help to understand if PF-08049820 is safe and effective.
