NCT06586112
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if ESK-001 works to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does ESK-001 reduce the severity of people's psoriasis? * How safe is ESK-001 in people with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis? The study includes 2 comparators: a placebo control (a 'dummy' tablet that does not contain the medicine ESK-001 but looks just like it) and an active control (apremilast, which is a medicine approved to treat psoriasis). People taking part in this study must be men or women aged at least 18 years and have had plaque psoriasis for at least 6 months, currently moderate to severe. Participants will: * take drug every day for 24 weeks. * visit the clinic for checkups and tests. * fill out questionnaires about their psoriasis, itch severity, and change in quality of life. * be assessed for health issues and side effects, physical examinations, vital signs, heart electrical activity measurements, and psychological health. * provide blood and urine samples.
NCT01841736
This randomized phase II trial studies how well pazopanib hydrochloride works in treating patients with carcinoid tumors that are growing, spreading, or getting worse. Pazopanib hydrochloride may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT06120140
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether enhanced dermatologic management can reduce incidence of grade greater than or equal to (\>=) 2 dermatologic adverse events of interest (DAEIs) when compared with standard-of-care skin management and with modified enhanced dermatologic management in participants with locally advanced or metastatic stage IIIB/C-IV epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated first-line with amivantamab and lazertinib. The study also includes Expansion cohorts (in 2 different schedules) to evaluate enhanced dermatologic management and early intervention for DAEIs or paronychia, in participants receiving subcutaneous amivantamab and lazertinib. A substudy will enroll participants from Arms A and B who experience specific new-onset or persistent DAEIs (Grade \>=2) during treatment with intravenous (IV) amivantamab and lazertinib. This substudy aims to assess the reactive use of dermatologic treatment strategies in these participants.
NCT04895709
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, and recommended dose(s) of BMS-986340 as monotherapy and in combination with nivolumab or docetaxel in participants with advanced solid tumors. This study is a first-in-human (FIH) study of BMS-986340 in participants with advanced solid tumors.
NCT04368559
The purpose of this pivotal study is to determine if intravenous Rezafungin is efficacious and safe in the prevention of invasive fungal diseases when compared to the standard antimicrobial regimen.
NCT04576117
This phase III trial investigates the best dose of vinblastine in combination with selumetinib and the benefit of adding vinblastine to selumetinib compared to selumetinib alone in treating children and young adults with low-grade glioma (a common type of brain cancer) that has come back after prior treatment (recurrent) or does not respond to therapy (progressive). Selumetinib is a drug that works by blocking a protein that lets tumor cells grow without stopping. Vinblastine blocks cell growth by stopping cell division and may kill cancer cells. Giving selumetinib in combination with vinblastine may work better than selumetinib alone in treating recurrent or progressive low-grade glioma.
NCT07001800
The purpose of this study is to evaluate if ataciguat slows the progression of moderate calcific aortic valve stenosis in adults.
NCT05558241
This study will compare the two imaging modalities (MRI and micro-ultrasound) during Active Surveillance of prostate cancer (PCa). Progression to clinically significant PCa will be assessed by first taking micro-US targeted samples (while blinded to MRI results), followed by MRI targeted samples, finishing with 12 systematic biopsy cores. The primary goal is to compare microUS to MRI for the detection of ≥GG2 PCa at confirmatory biopsy. This study will also collect blood samples from participants to be used for future biomarker studies.
NCT04164082
This phase II trial studies the effect of adding pembrolizumab to gemcitabine in treating patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer whose cancer does not respond to Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) treatment. Chemotherapy drugs, such as gemcitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the patient's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Adding pembrolizumab to gemcitabine may delay the return of BCG-unresponsive bladder cancer for longer period compared to gemcitabine alone.
NCT05180474
The purpose of this trial is to measure the following in participants with solid tumors who receive GEN1047: * The side effects seen with GEN1047 * What the body does with GEN1047 once it is administered * What GEN1047 does to the body once it is administered * How well GEN1047 works against solid tumors The estimated trial duration for an individual participant is 8 months, consisting of a 28-day screening period, an estimated 3 month treatment period (the duration of treatment may vary for each participant), and an estimated 4 month post-treatment follow-up period (the duration of follow-up may vary for each participant). All participants will receive active drug; no one will be given placebo.
NCT06299111
This study is researching 2 different experimental drugs called REGN9933 and REGN7508 (called "study drugs"). The study is focused on adults undergoing a placement of a catheter in the vein, also called a 'PICC line'. The aim of the study is to see how effective the study drug is at preventing venous thromboembolism (VTE) and other related disease after catheter placement. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from taking the study drug * How much study drug is in the blood at different times * Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drug (which could make the study drug less effective or could lead to side effects)
NCT07164443
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the overall survival (length of time from the start of study to date of death from any cause) for pasritamig (JNJ-78278343) in combination with best supportive care (BSC) as compared to placebo with BSC in participants with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC; a stage of cancer that has spread beyond the prostate gland and is no longer responding to hormone therapies).
NCT03965689
This phase II trial studies how well MLN4924 (pevonedistat), carboplatin, and paclitaxel work in treating patients with stage IIIB or IV non-small cell lung cancer. Pevonedistat may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving pevonedistat together with carboplatin and paclitaxel may work better in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer when compared with other standard chemotherapy drugs.
NCT05543616
The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety, extent of the side effects, and immune responses of the study vaccine (called variant-adapted BNT162b2 RNA-based vaccine) in healthy children. All participants in each of the 5 sub-studies will receive study vaccine as a shot depending on what group they are in. * Substudy A design: Phase 1 includes participants 6 months through less than 4 years 3 months of age who have not received a previous coronavirus vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine naïve) and will receive 3 doses of study vaccine as their initial series, followed by a fourth dose of study vaccine. Phase 2/3 includes participants 6 months through less than 5 years of age who have not received a previous coronavirus vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine naive) and will receive 1, 2, or 3 doses of study vaccine, depending on what group they are in. * Substudy B design: includes participants 6 months through less than 5 years of age who have either received 2 or 3 prior doses of BNT162b2 and will receive study vaccine as their third or fourth dose. * Substudy C design: Phase 1 includes participants 6 months through less than 5 years of age who have received 3 prior doses of BNT162b2 and will receive study vaccine as their fourth dose. * Substudy D design: includes participants 5 through less than12 years of age who have received 2 or 3 prior doses of BNT162b2 and will receive study vaccine as their third or fourth dose. * Substudy E design: includes participants 5 through less than 12 years of age who have not received a previous coronavirus vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine naive) and will receive a single dose of study vaccine.
NCT02453620
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of entinostat and nivolumab when given together with ipilimumab in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (metastatic) or that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable) or human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative breast cancer that has spread from where it started to nearby tissue or lymph nodes or other parts of the body. Entinostat is in a class of drugs called histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors. It may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth (locally advanced/metastatic). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving entinostat and nivolumab together with ipilimumab may work better in treating in patients with solid tumors.
NCT03866603

NCT07451613
The purpose of this research study is to determine whether an implantation of hNSC-01 is a safe and tolerable study intervention for Huntington's disease. This study is the first time that hNSC-01 is being tested in people.
NCT06160791
This phase II trial tests the effects of ruxolitinib in combination with a de-intensified HLH-94 drug regimen has on patients with newly diagnosed hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a disorder caused by dysregulated immune responses (that is, immune responses that are too strong and cause inflammatory damage to normal tissues). The therapy used for HLH decreases the activity of the immune system. Ruxolitinib is a type of drug called a kinase inhibitor. It works by blocking the signals that cause inflammatory cells to multiply. De-intensified HLH-94 is a treatment regimen that includes 4 weeks of dexamethasone with the dose being decreased each week, and up to 4 weeks of etoposide. This combination is commonly used to treat HLH. Dexamethasone is a steroid medication that works by fighting inflammation. Etoposide is in a class of medications known as podophyllotoxin derivatives. It blocks a certain enzyme needed for cell division and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) repair and may kill cancer cells and is used to kill the types of white blood cells in HLH that are attacking the body. Giving ruxolitinib in combination with a de-intensified HLH-94 drug regimen may reduce toxic exposure to therapy while maintaining efficacy in patients with HLH.
NCT02489318
