NCT06455202
The purpose of this study is to establish the efficacy, safety and tolerability of barzolvolimab in adult participants with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) inadequately controlled by non-sedating second generation H1-antihistamines in comparison to placebo.
NCT05243797
This is a multicenter, randomized, open-label, Phase 3 study in participants with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma to evaluate the benefits of teclistamab in combination with lenalidomide and teclistamab alone versus lenalidomide alone as maintenance therapy after autologous stem cell transplant.
NCT05510908
This study is being done to understand how many people with HIV (PWH) present for cancer care across the AIDS Malignancy Consortium in the United States and if there are reasons that some PWH choose to participate, or not in cancer clinical trials. Optional quality of life surveys will be used to learn more about how HIV and cancer and HIV and cancer treatment affect people.
NCT06858813
HCC is a common cancer worldwide and a leading cause of cancer-related death. Lung cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in the world, and the leading cause of cancer deaths. The purpose of this study is to assess adverse events and change in disease activity when ABBV-324 is given to adult participants to treat hepatocellular cancer (HCC) or squamous-cell non-small cell lung cancer (LUSC). ABBV-324 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of HCC and LUSC. Study doctors put the participants in groups called arms. Each arm receives ABBV-324 alone (monotherapy) or a comparator drug, lenvatinib followed by a safety follow-up period. Approximately 232 HCC or LUSC will be enrolled in the study in approximately 45 sites worldwide. In the dose escalation stage participants will be treated with increasing intravenous (IV) doses of ABBV-324 until the dose reached is tolerable and expected to be efficacious. In the dose optimization stage participants will receive ABBV-324, or a comparator of oral lenvatinib. The study will run for a duration of approximately 6.5 years. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at an approved institution (hospital or clinic). The effect of the treatment will be frequently checked by medical assessments, blood tests, questionnaires and side effects.
NCT05813678
This is a 10-year multi-center, global, observational study to further characterize the safety profile of pegvaliase, including hypersensitivity reactions, long-term safety and tolerability, and the effectiveness of the additional risk minimization measures (aRMMs) (European Union (EU) only) in subjects receiving pegvaliase for the treatment of PKU. Subjects for whom a clinical decision has been made that they will receive pegvaliase to treat their PKU within 30 days following the date of enrollment (incident-users) or have previously started treatment with pegvaliase at the date of enrollment (prevalent-users) are eligible for participation in this study.
NCT06445023
NCT04484142
This is a study of the efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety of DS-1062a in participants with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with known actionable genomic alterations.
NCT01987921
Pediatric acute kidney injury (AKI) is associated with increased morbidity and mortality in critically ill patients. Currently, understanding of the epidemiology and diagnosis of AKI in children is limited by single center retrospective data and inconsistent diagnostic and stratification criteria. The hypotheses of the AWARE study is that 1) renal angina, a composite of early injury signs and risk of disease, will predict severe subsequent AKI in critically ill children and 2) the incorporation of urinary biomarkers into the renal angina scoring system will improve the prediction of the severe injury. The AWARE study is conducted to describe AKI epidemiology in a heterogeneous multinational cohort of critically ill children, characterize AKI risk factors and associated morbidity, and validate the KDIGO AKI criteria as a predictor of pediatric AKI outcomes. The multi-center, multi-national registry will create the largest ever repository of information available on AKI in children.
NCT06611163
Phase 3 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of subcutaneous tildrakizumab in subjects with moderate to severe genital psoriasis.
NCT06979453
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and drug levels of Deucravacitinib (BMS-986165) in adolescent participants with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis
NCT06282575
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Zanidatamab plus CisGem (Cisplatin and Gemcitabine) with or without the addition of a programmed death protein 1/ligand-1 (PD-1/L1) inhibitor (physician's choice of either Durvalumab or Pembrolizumab, where approved under local regulations) as first line of treatment for participants with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive biliary tract cancer.
NCT05556824
This study will be conducted as a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate the effect of MHS-1031 on heartburn-free days in subjects with GERD-related heartburn symptoms.
NCT06362265
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate how much of LY3209590 gets into the blood stream after a single dose and how long it takes the body to remove it in pediatric participants with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). The study will last for approximately 100 days.
NCT06532890
This study aims to discover circulating microRNAs (associated with drug doses and levels) that can be used to characterize the overall immune state in pediatric heart transplant patients and predict patients that will go on to develop infection and rejection. MicroRNAs (miRs) are small, non-coding RNA molecules that regulate gene expression and serve as molecular biomarkers found in the circulation.
NCT03228641
A pilot study is designed to evaluate safety and efficacy of the Micro-Coring (MC) technology for treatment of facial wrinkles. MC device employs hollow coring needles that enable safe, rapid, and effective full-thickness small skin cores (200-500 microns in diameter) removal initiating a skin repair process through formation of new collagen and elastin fibers (skin rejuvenation).
NCT05277896
Among critically ill adults undergoing emergency tracheal intubation, one in five experience hypotension, cardiac arrest, or death. The sedatives used to rapidly induce anesthesia for emergency tracheal intubation have been hypothesized to effect cardiovascular complications and patient outcomes, but the optimal sedative medication for intubation of critically ill adults remains unknown. Ketamine and etomidate are the two most commonly used sedatives during intubation of critically ill adults. Data from a randomized clinical trial are urgently needed to determine the effect of ketamine versus etomidate on cardiovascular complications and clinical outcomes of emergency tracheal intubation.
NCT03410615
Sometimes, cancer patients receive an initial treatment, followed by additional treatment to lower the chance of cancer coming back. The standard or usual treatment for this type of disease is initially having radiation therapy at the same time as chemotherapy (with a drug called cisplatin), with no additional therapy afterwards
NCT05579548
This is a Phase 4 observational study designed to assess the impact of Palynziq ® (pegvaliase) treatment in pregnant women with PKU and on their offspring who were exposed to pegvaliase at any time during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
NCT06811376
This is a pilot trial of the effects of spiritual care interventions on spiritual well-being and readiness to engage in advance care planning (ACP) among black patients with advanced cancer recruited from outpatient settings to determine the feasibility of conducting a larger trial of effects of early integration of spiritual care into outpatient oncology care on patient outcomes.
NCT03759678
This is a multinational, multicenter, open-label, rater-blinded prospective Phase II study which will assess the safety and efficacy of N-Acetyl-L-Leucine (IB1001) for the treatment of Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T). There are two phases to this study: the Parent Study, and the Extension Phase. The Parent Study evaluates the safety and efficacy of N-Acetyl-L-Leucine (IB1001) for the symptomatic treatment of A-T. The Extension Phase evaluates the long-term safety and efficacy of IB1001 for the neuroprotective, disease-modifying treatment of A-T.
