NCT05748600
The purpose of this study is to evaluate dexpramipexole as an add-on oral therapy in participants with inadequately controlled eosinophilic asthma to evaluate improvements in lung function, asthma control, and quality of life. In addition, the study will further evaluate the safety and tolerability of dexpramipexole in participants with eosinophilic asthma.
NCT05306873
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the potential effectiveness of 24 weeks of MMF within previously discovered immunologically defined subsets of SLE patients. Treatment effects will be evaluated within the individual immunologically-homogenous subsets defined at screening. This study will also explore and compare pre-randomization gene expression patterns among responders and non-responders to MMF and MMF plus voclosporin, use comprehensive immunophenotyping to study the immunologic changes that accompany treatment- induced disease improvement and to better understand immunologic changes associated with the loss of clinical response.
NCT05919108
This phase II trial tests how well neratinib prior to the primary treatment (neoadjuvant) works in treating patients with stage I-III HER2 mutated lobular breast cancers. Neratinib is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of an abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. This helps slow or stop the spread of cancer cells. Giving neratinib in addition to normal therapy may work better in treating cancer than the endocrine therapy patients would normally receive.
NCT05552859
The TRENT trial is designed to confirm the efficacy and safety of Gla-300 compared with IDeg-100 in insulin-naïve patient (participants who have not tried insulin) with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and renal impairment. It will test the hypothesis that Gla-300 is non-inferior to IDeg-100 with glucose control. If achieved, the trial will also test for the superiority of Gla-300 compared with IDeg-100 in Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) reduction, without an increased potential risk of hypoglycemia.
NCT03078452
Since the introduction of the Jamshidi needle in 1971, new advances in bone marrow sampling have not been seen. In 2007, a new battery-powered bone marrow biopsy system was developed. This technology, using a battery-powered drill to operate the needle accessing the posterior iliac bone, was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is currently commercially available. Few randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have compared the use of the battery-powered bone marrow biopsy system to the Jamshidi needle (the traditional manual) method of bone marrow sampling. This research study is designed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Jamshidi needle compared to the battery-powered bone marrow biopsy system. 100 participants will be enrolled in this study at Emory University.
NCT07039591
A randomized open label crossover trial to assess performance attributes and acceptability of non-medicated intravaginal rings among sexually active women in Atlanta, GA
NCT05444257
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety, tolerability, and efficacy of VX-121/tezacaftor/deutivacaftor (VX-121/TEZ/D-IVA) in participants with cystic fibrosis.
NCT05019521
This is a dose finding study designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of danicopan in participants with GA secondary to AMD. The study consists of a Screening Period of up to 6 weeks, a 104-week masked Treatment Period, followed by a 30-day Follow-up after the last dose. This study will have 4 treatments arms: 100 milligrams (mg) twice daily (bid), 200 mg bid, 400 mg once daily (qd), and matching placebo.
NCT02257528
This phase II trial studies the side effects and how well nivolumab works in treating patients with cervical cancer that has grown, come back, or spread to other places in the body. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may block tumor growth in different ways by targeting certain cells.
NCT01770418
The purpose of this research study is to compare the effects (good and bad) on subjects and their cancer using standard chemotherapy in combination with hypofractionated proton radiation therapy. Hypofractionation is a technique that delivers higher daily doses of radiation over a shorter period of time.
NCT01737502
This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of auranofin when given together with sirolimus and to see how well it works in treating patients with lung cancer that has spread or other places in the body and cannot be cured or controlled by treatment or has come back after a period of time during which the cancer could not be detected. Auranofin and sirolimus may stop or slow the growth of lung cancer.
NCT06239467
OKI-219-101 is a Phase 1a/1b, open-label, multicenter, dose-escalation study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PDx), and efficacy of OKI-219 as monotherapy and in combination with other anti-cancer drugs. Phase 1a (Part A) will investigate escalating doses of OKI-219 monotherapy, and Phase 1b will investigate OKI-219 (at a tolerated dose determined in Part A) in combination with fulvestrant (Part B), trastuzumab and tucatinib (Part C), atirmociclib (Part D), and ribociclib and fulvestrant (Part E). Participants will continue to receive study treatment until disease progression, intolerable toxicity, or other study treatment withdrawal criteria are met.
NCT03162536
This study aims to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacodynamic, and pharmacokinetic (PK) of nemtabrutinib (formerly ARQ 531) tablets in selected participants with relapsed or refractory hematologic malignancies. No formal hypothesis testing will be performed for this study.
NCT04853017
This is a Phase 1 study to assess the safety and efficacy of ELI-002 immunotherapy (a lipid-conjugated immune-stimulatory oligonucleotide \[Amph-CpG-7909\] plus a mixture of lipid-conjugated peptide-based antigens \[Amph-Peptides\]) as adjuvant treatment of minimal residual disease (MRD) in subjects with KRAS/neuroblastoma ras viral oncogene homolog (NRAS) mutated PDAC or other solid tumors.
NCT06187402
To assess the safety and tolerability, obtain the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D)/optimal biologic dose (OBD) and/or Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) for LM-24C5 in subjects with advanced solid tumors.
NCT05070429
The ACHIEVE Hearing Intervention Follow-Up study is a randomized trial of a telehealth versus conventional clinic-based hearing healthcare (HHC) delivery model among older adults who are existing hearing aid users to determine if a telehealth HHC model improves hearing aid use and other communication outcomes compared to clinic-based HHC.
NCT06551116
This study will assess whether a quantitative, HER2 assay can accurately and reliably discriminate between responders and non-responders among patients with HER2 IHCI+ metastatic breast cancer who are receiving T-Dxd.
NCT01766297
The purpose of this research study is to compare the effects (good and bad) on women and their cancer using proton radiation therapy. This study is being done to see if proton radiation therapy will prove to be beneficial for women with early stage breast cancer. A clinical study is necessary to compare the results (good or bad) of proton radiation therapy.
NCT07159360
Neurodevelopmental disorders often result in abnormal development of the Central Nervous System (CNS), frequently causing motor dysfunctions such as the inability to stand and walk. CLINICAL EXPLORER is a clinical-use robotic device for gait training, representing the evolution of the ATLAS 2030 exoskeleton and the EXPLORER device for home use. The aim of this study is to evaluate the safety and usability of CLINICAL EXPLORER .
