NCT00026312
This partially randomized phase III trial studies isotretinoin with dinutuximab, aldesleukin, and sargramostim to see how well it works compared to isotretinoin alone following stem cell transplant in treating patients with neuroblastoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as isotretinoin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Monoclonal antibodies, such as dinutuximab, may block tumor growth in different ways by targeting certain cells. Aldesleukin and sargramostim may stimulate a person's white blood cells to kill cancer cells. It is not yet known if chemotherapy is more effective with or without dinutuximab, aldesleukin, and sargramostim following stem cell transplant in treating neuroblastoma.
NCT06354660

NCT06588556
Millions of older adults receive care in intensive care units (ICUs) annually. However, the quality and accessibility of ICU-based palliative care is highly variable across hospitals and clinicians, due in part to specialists' limited workforce and geographic inconsistency. To address these gaps, the investigators developed an innovative mobile app-based primary palliative care intervention called ICUconnect. ICUconnect facilitates families' and patients' self-report of actual palliative care needs across all core domains of palliative care quality, provides ICU clinicians with a scalable digital infrastructure for coordinating consistent and personalized needs-targeted care, and provides a variety of informational supports relevant to each user's role. In this RCT, the investigators will test ICUconnect vs. usual care control among 350 patient-family member dyads with elevated baseline levels of unmet palliative care need in a 4-site network serving a diverse population (Duke, Medical University of South Carolina, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Columbia). The specific aims are to: (1) Test the efficacy of ICUconnect vs. usual care control in improving palliative care needs and other person-centered outcomes including psychological distress, (2) Determine participant characteristics associated with a greater treatment response using a heterogeneity of treatment effects approach, and (3) Ensure off-the-shelf intervention readiness for implementation using a mixed-methods integration of qualitative analysis of semi-structured trial participant interviews and quantitative RE-AIM implementation framework-informed trial data.
NCT06177717
The goal of this observational study is to learn about lung structure and function in a group of 1000 healthy people aged 25 to 35. The main questions it aims to answer are whether people's bodies, environment, and general lung health are associated with: * the structure of the participants lungs' airways, * the structure of blood vessels in the participants lungs and heart, and * the participants lungs' ability to exchange gases. Participants will take four different lung function tests to measure lung function, including: * air movement in the lungs (oscillometry) * lung size (slow vital capacity (SVC) and functional residual capacity (FRC) * gas transfer in the lungs (diffusing capacity for carbon monoxide (DLCO).
NCT05730036
This study is researching an experimental drug called linvoseltamab, also called REGN5458. Linvoseltamab has previously been studied by itself (without other cancer drugs) in participants who had advanced multiple myeloma that returned and needed to be treated again after many other therapies had failed. These participants were no longer benefiting from standard medications and had no good treatment options. In that study, some participants who were treated with linvoseltamab had improvement of their myeloma (shrinkage of their tumors), including some participants who had complete responses (that is, the treatment got rid of all evidence of myeloma in their bodies). This study is focused on participants who have multiple myeloma that has returned or needs to be treated again after one to four prior treatments and have standard cancer treatment options available to them. The aim of this study is to see how safe and effective linvoseltamab is compared to a combination of three cancer drugs: elotuzumab, pomalidomide and dexamethasone, (called EPd) in participants who have returned after having received prior treatment that included lenalidomide, a proteosome inhibitor, and (for participants in some countries) a cluster of differentiation 38 (CD38) antibody. Half of the participants in this study will get linvoseltamab, and the other half will get EPd. This study is looking at several other research questions, including: * How long participants benefit from receiving linvoseltamab compared with EPd * How many participants treated with linvoseltamab or EPd have improvement of their multiple myeloma and by how much * What side effects happen from taking linvoseltamab compared to EPd * How long participants live while receiving treatment or after treatment with linvoseltamab compared to EPd * If there is any improvement in pain after treatment with linvoseltamab compared to EPd
NCT06287463

NCT04409600
Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome (CECS) in the lower leg is a debilitating condition in highly active individuals. Pain occurs in 1 or several leg compartments upon an exertional activity, typically running, that quickly dissipates once the activity stopped. Surgical fasciotomy is the standard for treating lower leg CECS, but success is variable. Complications may occur post-surgery and there is a potential for a repeat procedure. Recovery times post-surgery also vary greatly. Conservative treatments, such as gait retraining and botulinum toxin injections, are emerging as non-surgical options for the treatment of CECS with success through published case reports and case series. This study aims to evaluate the use of these non-surgical treatment options for CECS in the anterior and lateral leg compartments with a follow up for at least 2 years across multiple study sites.
NCT07449702
An open-label extension (OLE) study to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of ORKA-001 in adult participants with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis, who previously participated in an Oruka Therapeutics sponsored study.
NCT05012371
This phase II trial compares the effects of lenvatinib given in combination with everolimus to the effects of cabozantinib given alone in treating patients with renal cell cancer (RCC) that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) and that got worse on a previous PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor. Lenvatinib, everolimus, and cabozantinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT06242691
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of MK-1200 monotherapy in participants with advanced/metastatic gastric/gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer, esophageal cancer, biliary tract cancer, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma who have received, or been intolerant to, all treatments known to confer clinical benefit. Part 1 of the study will be a dose escalation to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD). Part 2 will evaluate safety and efficacy of MK-1200 at 2 different doses
