NCT07094906
The purpose of this study is to find out if regular handgrip exercise performed at home can improve blood pressure at rest and during exercise in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). This study is also intended to understand what causes an increase in blood pressure at rest and during exercise (i.e., increased adrenaline levels, or decreased ability of blood vessels to dilate). Patients with CKD will be recruited from primary care, Nephrology and other subspecialty Clinics throughout the Emory Healthcare System. Participants will attend 4 visits of 2-3 hours and 3 visits of 1-2 hours. The home exercise training will last for 8 weeks.

NCT06380517
In children 4 to 7 years of age, to determine if treatment with 1 hour per day 6 days per week of watching dichoptic movies/shows wearing the Luminopia headset is non-inferior to treatment with 2 hours of patching per day 7 days per week with respect to change in amblyopic eye distance VA from randomization to 26 weeks.
NCT04731376
This phase I trial investigates the safety of testosterone replacement therapy around the time of major urologic surgery (perioperative) in order to improve quality of life and post-operative outcomes such as decreased length of hospital stay, complications, and mortality in patients with low testosterone levels. Studies have demonstrated that patients undergoing testosterone replacement therapy have increased lean body mass, decreased fat mass and have improved physical function. Testosterone replacement therapy can also stimulate bone formation and may decrease the risk of fracture. Information from this trial may be used to support the incorporation of testosterone level testing and testosterone replacement into the perioperative treatment decision-making process.
NCT04378790
A randomized trial to determine whether simultaneous treatment with spectacles and patching has an equivalent VA outcome compared with sequential treatment, first with spectacles alone followed by patching (if needed), for previously untreated amblyopia in children 3 to \<13 years of age.
NCT06777368
The purpose of this study is to generate clinical evidence on valve safety and performance in subjects treated by redo Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).

NCT05923099
The purpose of this trial is to test different doses of the trial medicine (LEO 138559) and see how well they work and how safe they are at treating moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in adults. There will be 4 different doses, that will also be compared to a placebo (a dummy medicine that doesn't contain the active ingredient of LEO 138559). Each participant will be randomly assigned to one of the 4 doses of LEO 138559 or placebo. In all arms, injections of placebo may be used to mask the different doses. The trial will last up to 36 weeks, including a screening/washout period (up to 4 weeks), a treatment period (16 weeks), and a follow up period (16 weeks). The participants will visit the clinic 17 times. For the first 4 weeks of the treatment period, participants will visit the clinic every week. For the next 12 weeks of the treatment period, participants will visit the clinic every 2 weeks. For the 16 week follow up period, participants will visit the clinic every 4 weeks. The treatments will be given to the participants by staff at the clinic. They are given as an injection just under the skin. At each visit the doctor will check the participants atopic dermatitis and if they have had any side effects. Participants will also complete an electronic diary every day about their atopic dermatitis and quality of life. LEO 138559 is also called "Temtokibart".
NCT06750185

NCT05280184
Our objective is to test the feasibility, acceptability, and initial efficacy of using behavioral economics incentives (BEI) in a novel, semi-automated intervention to target daily insulin BOLUS scores in adolescents with suboptimal insulin use.
NCT06401577
The DREAM-ON study will investigate whether continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is useful to predict risk for developing diabetes mellitus (DM) and pre-diabetes mellitus (PDM), the need for insulin therapy among those who develop DM, and to determine whether CGM can provide insight into the pathophysiology and DM subtype among participants who have experienced an episode of acute pancreatitis (AP). Thus, the results of the DREAM-ON study could inform future clinical practice guidelines for the management AP as well as potentially extending the licensing authorization for CGM to include use in patients with pancreatogenic (Type 3c) DM.
