NCT05235165
This phase III trial compares the effect of open thoracic surgery (thoracotomy) to thoracoscopic surgery (video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery or VATS) in treating patients with osteosarcoma that has spread to the lung (pulmonary metastases). Open thoracic surgery is a type of surgery done through a single larger incision (like a large cut) that goes between the ribs, opens up the chest, and removes the cancer. Thoracoscopy is a type of chest surgery where the doctor makes several small incisions and uses a small camera to help with removing the cancer. This trial is being done evaluate the two different surgery methods for patients with osteosarcoma that has spread to the lung to find out which is better.
NCT04514653
This interventional study is being conducted with an investigational gene therapy treatment called ABBV-RGX-314 (also known as RGX-314) and is being developed as a potential one-time gene therapy treatment for neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD or nAMD). The typical treatment for nAMD is frequent injections of anti-VEGF therapy. Researchers are testing ABBV-RGX-314 to see if it has similar effects as the current approved standard of care, such as Lucentis® or Eylea® injections. The duration of this study will be up to 52 weeks or for ranibizumab control participants who cross over to ABBV-RGX-314 after week 52, up to 80 weeks post-randomization. The primary outcome measure for this investigational study is to evaluate the mean change in best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) for ABBV-RGX-314 compared with ranibizumab monthly at the Week 40 visit.
NCT04519294
The purpose of the study is to compare the effects, good and/or bad, of a treatment for removing kidney stones called the SURE procedure for stone evacuation to the standard treatment using a basket for stone removal.
NCT06129539

NCT07172438
The overall purpose of this study will be to assess primary combustible cigarette users' abstinence from smoking their usual brand of combustible cigarettes at the end of the study, when provided with an electronic nicotine delivery system (ENDS) power unit (2) and varying levels of access to tobacco-flavored, menthol-flavored, or non-tobacco/non-menthol-flavored cartridge-based e-liquids (collectively referred to as the investigational product) within their assigned study arm over a three-month (ninety-day) period.
NCT05891171
The primary purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of AB598 in participants with advanced malignancies.
NCT06598059
This clinical study will test a new type of cochlear implant known as CI632D. This experimental cochlear implant has been designed to slowly release a drug called dexamethasone. Dexamethasone works to ease inflammation and reduce tissue injury, which is common after any type of surgery. The goal is to learn if the dexamethasone in the CI632D implant lessens these reactions inside the ear following surgery and if this makes the implant work as well, or even better, in improving hearing than what would be expected with a standard cochlear implant. The study will be conducted in adults with sensorineural hearing loss, a type of hearing loss caused by damage to the inner ear or auditory nerve (the nerve that carries sound signals from the ear to the brain). The study participants will receive the CI632D experimental implant and will complete tests to see how well they are hearing and how well the implant is working.
NCT07116746
This study will assess the effect of AR882 and XOI co-administration on sUA lowering as well as reducing tophus burden in the population that has failed uricase treatment (eg., pegloticase). Failed uricase treatment is defined as having an inherent intolerance, anaphylaxis, infusion reaction, antibody development, and/or at least one sUA level that rose to greater than 6 mg/dL while on therapy.
NCT05125016
This study is researching an investigational drug called REGN4336. Some participants may receive additional investigational drugs in combination with REGN4336. These additional drugs include REGN5678, cemiplimab and sarilumab. The main purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability (how the body reacts to the drug) and effectiveness of REGN4336 alone, in combination with cemiplimab, or in combination with REGN5678. REGN4336, cemiplimab and REGN5678 are a type of treatment for cancer called immunotherapy, and are intended to activate T-cells to attack cancer cells. This study has 2 parts. The purpose of Part 1 is to determine a safe dose of REGN4336 when given alone or when given in combination with cemiplimab or REGN5678. The purpose of Part 2 is to use the REGN4336 dose(s) determined in Part 1 to further test how well REGN4336 works to shrink tumors either when given alone or in combination with cemiplimab or REGN5678. This study is looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from taking REGN4336 alone, in combination with cemiplimab, or in combination with REGN5678? * How much REGN4336 is in the blood at different times when it is given alone, in combination with cemiplimab, or in combination with REGN5678? * Does the body make antibodies against the study drugs (REGN4336, cemiplimab, or REGN5678)?
