NCT00936390
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays and other types of radiation to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Androgens can cause the growth of prostate cancer cells. Androgen-deprivation therapy may lessen the amount of androgens made by the body. It is not yet known whether radiation therapy is more effective with or without androgen-deprivation therapy in treating patients with prostate cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying radiation therapy to see how well it works compared with radiation therapy given together with androgen-deprivation therapy in treating patients with prostate cancer.
NCT04393285
This is a phase II single arm trial to determine the percentage of patients without evidence of disease progression on abemaciclib and letrozole in advanced stage, persistent or recurrent endometrioid endometrial cancer at 6 months. Treatment will continue until either unacceptable toxicity, progression of disease, or investigator/patient request for withdrawal.
NCT06915766
The purpose of this expanded access program (EAP) protocol is to provide investigational bezuclastinib to patients with a diagnosis of nonadvanced systemic mastocytosis (NonAdvSM) or advanced systemic mastocytosis (AdvSM) who have received and failed or been intolerant to at least one standard approved therapy and/or have no comparable or satisfactory alternative therapy options.
NCT04748042
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of radiation therapy with hormone therapy (ADT) and chemotherapy as an investigational study treatment for prostate cancer. This is a phase 2 study to deliver focal radiation with pulsed systemic therapy of Abiraterone, ADT and Lynparza (olaparib) in men with castration sensitive oligometastatic prostate cancer.
NCT06932783
This study is being done to better understand how the study team can treat pain for people with cirrhosis and depression. Enrolled participants on this feasibility study will be randomized to Transcutaneous Electrical Acustimulation (TEA) or sham TEA.
NCT05217537
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of a single dose of intravenous or oral omadacycline in children and adolescents with suspected or confirmed bacterial infections.
NCT07250802
The main aim of this study is to see how well the medicine zasocitinib works, how safe it is, and how children and teenagers aged 4 to under 18 with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis respond to it. The study will be done in 2 parts: Part A will include both children and teenagers, while part B will only include children. At first, only teenagers who meet the study rules can participate in this study. Children may only start to participate once enough information has been collected from other studies with zasocitinib. Participants in Part A will initially be assigned to receive either zasocitinib or placebo for the first 16 weeks of treatment, then all participants will receive zasocitinib through the end of the study. All participants in Part B will be assigned to receive treatment with zasocitinib throughout the study. Participants will be in the study for up to 4 years and 2 months (217 weeks), including up to 35 days for the screening period, 208 weeks of treatment (Part A and Part B) and a 4-week safety follow-up period. During the study, participants will visit their study site multiple times.
NCT06084884
A Phase I/II study to evaluate AZD5851 in patients with GPC3+ advanced/recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma.
NCT03734393
The primary objective of this study is to determine if an HIV-infected donor liver (HIVD+) transplant is safe with regards to major transplant-related and HIV-related complications
NCT07455136
The study is intended to cover two purposes: first, to develop a blood-based biomarker test for aiding the diagnosis of traumatic brain injury (TBI) in adult participants and for prognosis of outcome of TBI (CLIN12.1); and second, for monitoring the development of secondary events in adult participants diagnosed with TBI (CLIN12.2).
NCT07099898
"In this study researchers are testing GSK5764227, a new medicine that targets specific proteins (B7-H3) on cancer cells, thereby reducing the cancers ability to grow and spread. This study specifically aims to evaluate how well GSK5764227 works in treating relapsed SCLC compared to standard treatment topotecan, by checking whether GSK5764227 makes cancers smaller or disappear completely and if it helps participants live longer. The study is also assessing whether GSK576227 is safe and tolerated well by participants compared to topotecan and provide a better understanding of the main side effects of both drugs. Participants with relapsed SCLC will be randomly divided into two groups: one group receiving GSK5764227 and the other receiving topotecan."
NCT04829604
A Global, Phase 2 Study of ARX788 in HER2-positive Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients who were previously treated with T-DXd
NCT06963034
The primary objective for this study is to evaluate the efficacy of NBI-1117568 compared with placebo on improving behavioral and psychological symptoms of schizophrenia in adults.
NCT07118501
The goal of this study is to demonstrate the safety and performance of the Incompass™ Total Ankle System after surgery over the standard follow-up period. The study will measure improvements in patient-reported information related to quality of life and pain following surgery. In order to do this, medical imaging (i.e. X-Rays, CT scans) which have been taken as part of routine care, will be reviewed. Any additional X-Rays conducted during the period of the research will also be reviewed. The Incompass™ Total Ankle System has been cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The products are already in use routinely in ankle replacement surgeries. No part of this study is experimental.
NCT07449702
An open-label extension (OLE) study to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of ORKA-001 in adult participants with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis, who previously participated in an Oruka Therapeutics sponsored study.
NCT07015905
This study is researching an experimental drug called REGN7508 (called "study drug"). The study is focused on adults undergoing elective, unilateral (one side) total knee replacement surgery. The aim of the study is to see how effective the study drug is at preventing Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) and other related diseases after total knee replacement surgery. The study is looking at several other research questions, including: * What side effects may happen from taking the study drug * How much study drug is in the blood at different times * Whether the body makes antibodies against the study drug (which could make the study drug less effective or could lead to side effects)
NCT03351803
The purpose of this study is to learn how to provide BRCA gene testing to a larger number of people as well as to make testing part of a person's regular medical care.
NCT07161544
The purpose of the 039-101 study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of a single subretinal injection of AAVB-039 in participants with Stargardt disease secondary to a biallelic mutation of the ABCA4 gene. The study will also assess initial efficacy following AAVB-039 administration.

NCT06241560
This study is open to adults with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) who are 40 years and older. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called pirfenidone changes the amount of a medicine called BI 1015550 in the blood. Some people may take more than one medicine at a time. Therefore, it is important to understand how different medicines influence one another. Participants take one dose of BI 1015550 as a tablet. Participants then take one tablet of pirfenidone 3 times a day for one week. The dose is then increased to 2 tablets 3 times a day for the second week. In the third week the dose is increased further to 3 tablets 3 times a day. Participants then take another dose of BI 1015550 as a tablet. Participants are in the study for a little over 1 month. During this time, they visit the study site 15 times. Two of the visits include overnight stays at the study site. The study staff also contacts the participants by phone. During the visits, the doctors collect information about participants' health and take blood samples from the participants. They compare the amount of pirfenidone and BI 1015550 in the blood. Doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.
