NCT04137107
This phase II/III trial studies the best dose of duloxetine and how well it works in preventing pain, tingling, and numbness (peripheral neuropathy) caused by treatment with oxaliplatin in patients with stage II-III colorectal cancer. Duloxetine increases the amount of certain chemicals in the brain that help relieve depression and pain. Giving duloxetine in patients undergoing treatment with oxaliplatin for colorectal cancer may help prevent peripheral neuropathy.
NCT05694871
This phase II trial compares the effect of treatment with palbociclib alone to treatment with palbociclib plus cemiplimab for treating patients with dedifferentiated liposarcoma that may have spread from where it first started to nearby tissue, lymph nodes, or distant parts of the body (advanced). Palbociclib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Cemiplimab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. The combination of these two drugs may be more effective in shrinking or stabilizing advanced dedifferentiated liposarcoma compared to palbociclib alone.
NCT02779751
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of abemaciclib in combination with pembrolizumab in participants with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or hormone receptor positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor negative (HER2-) breast cancer.
NCT05710406
This phase II/III trial compares treatment with encorafenib and cetuximab to usual care (patient observation) for reducing the chance of cancer recurrence after standard surgery and chemotherapy in patients with BRAF-mutated stage IIB-III colon cancer. Encorafenib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Cetuximab is in a class of medications called monoclonal antibodies. It binds to a protein called EGFR, which is found on some types of tumor cells. This may help keep tumor cells from growing. Giving encorafenib and cetuximab after standard surgery and chemotherapy may be more effective at reducing the chance of cancer recurrence compared to the usual patient observation.
NCT02900976
This pilot phase II trial studies how well rituximab and latent membrane protein (LMP)-specific T-cells work in treating pediatric solid organ recipients with Epstein-Barr virus-positive, cluster of differentiation (CD)20-positive post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder. Rituximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. LMP-specific T-cells are special immune system cells trained to recognize proteins found on post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder tumor cells if they are infected with Epstein-Barr virus. Giving rituximab and LMP-specific T-cells may work better in treating pediatric organ recipients with post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder than rituximab alone.
NCT06185101
This randomized Stage 1 pilot trial tests the feasibility of a community health worker (CHW) delivered chronic pain self-management intervention for older adults ("STEP-UP"; Support, Training, and Education for Pain Self-Management - Using Podcasts) in a primary care setting. A total of 40 participants aged 50+ with high-impact chronic pain will be randomized to intervention or control groups. The STEP-UP intervention will feature an educational podcast series teaching core pain self-management skills. Podcasts will be supplemented by sessions with a Community Health Worker taking place at designated times over a 7-week period. The Community Health Worker will guide participants in a modified Patient Priorities of Care approach to help them identify their values and priorities and develop goals that reflect these.
NCT06265532
The primary purpose of this substudy is to determine if collagen-targeted PET using the type 1 collagen-targeted PET probe, Gallium-68 (68Ga)-labeled collagen binding probe 8 (CBP8) can inform as to drug effect of EGCG and assist in dose selection.
NCT05382208
The purpose of this study is to determine if doxycycline will reduce progression of emphysema in people living with HIV. The secondary objectives are to examine the effects of doxycycline on change in quantity of emphysema, six minute walk distance, patient reported outcomes, ratio of forced expiratory volume in 1 second and forced vital capacity. Secondary objectives will also describe the safety and tolerability of doxycycline and determine if doxycycline is associated with development of antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections.

Optional addendums 1 and 2 included in the protocol are intended to establish comparative groups and focused subgroups within the registry.
NCT06808984
This is a study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of BMS-986368, a FAAH/MAGL inhibitor, for the treatment of agitation in participants with Alzheimer's Disease.
NCT04739059
This phase 3b study will evaluate long-term safety and efficacy of CSL312 (also known as garadacimab) when administered subcutaneously (SC)
NCT04551742
The social determinants of health have a large impact on health. For example, neighborhood socioeconomic deprivation is associated with increased risk of medication non-adherence, graft failure, and death in children after liver transplant. In order to address these socioeconomic inequities in outcomes, a more granular understanding of how the social determinants of health impact outcomes is needed. In this observational prospective cohort, caregivers of children undergoing liver transplantation will complete surveys and undergo in-depth, qualitative interviews. The survey will assess comprehensively for the social determinants of health (e.g. material economic hardship, health literacy, social connectedness, primary care quality, etc). The qualitative interviews will identify barriers and facilitators that socioeconomically deprived children/families have to obtaining the ideal outcome and identify health system opportunities to integrate social needs and medical care. Data will be linked to an existing prospective cohort study (The Society for Pediatric Liver Transplant registry) to assess the impact of social risk on outcomes after transplant. Healthcare providers who take care of children undergoing liver transplant will also be included in the qualitative interviews. The goal of including this group in the study is to determine the health systems barriers and facilitators to social needs screening and intervention.
NCT03432286
The main purpose of this study is to evaulate the efficacy and safety of galcanezumab in participants 6 to 17 years of age for the preventive treatment of episodic migraine. The primary objective is to demonstrate the superiority of galcanezumab versus placebo in the reduction of monthly migraine headache days across the 3-month double-blind treatment period.
NCT03156114
This is a study in adults with advanced solid tumors including non-small cell lung cancer. The study tests the combination of two medicines called BI 754111 and BI 754091 that may help the immune system to fight the cancer. Such medicines are called immune checkpoint inhibitors. The study has two parts. In the first part, doctors want to find out the highest dose of 2 medicines that people with solid tumors can tolerate. This dose is then used for the second part of the study. In the second part, the combination of the two medicines is tested in patients with non-small cell lung cancer and other types of solid cancer. These patients had gotten treatment with anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 medicines but their tumors have come back. The doctors check whether the combination of BI 754111 and BI 754091 makes tumors shrink. Both medicines are given as an infusion into the vein every 3 weeks. If there is benefit for the patients and if they can tolerate it, the treatment is given for maximum of 1 year. During the entire study doctors will regularly check the health of the patients.
NCT05819775
The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety, PK / PD, and efficacy of SC CSL312 for prophylactic treatment of pediatric subjects with HAE.
NCT05174221
This study will have two parts. The main aims are to: * check the side effects from mezagitamab. * check for long-term side effects from mezagitamab. Before starting the study, participants will be asked to provide a 24-hour urine sample. A few weeks later, if enrolled they will begin receiving a subcutaneous injection (under the skin) of mezagitamab once a week for 8 weeks then once every 2 weeks for 16 weeks. When treatment has ended, there will be a 24-week follow-up period. Participants who receive benefit from the treatment may continue in the second part of the study where they will be monitored for up to 96 weeks and possibly retreated for another 24 weeks.
NCT06130540
This study will examine how intravenous (i.v.) Secukinumab will be processed in the body (pharmacokinetics \[PK\]) and whether it will be safe and tolerable after multiple doses of i.v. Secukinumab infusion in adult patients with giant cell arteritis (GCA) or polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR).
NCT04898894
The purpose of this study is to test the safety and determine the best dose of venetoclax and selinexor when given with chemotherapy drugs in treating pediatric and young adult patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or acute leukemia of ambiguous lineage (ALAL) that has come back (relapsed) or did not respond to treatment (refractory). Primary Objective * To determine the safety and tolerability of selinexor and venetoclax in combination with chemotherapy in pediatric patients with relapsed or refractory AML or ALAL. Secondary Objectives * Describe the rates of complete remission (CR) and complete remission with incomplete count recovery (CRi) for patients treated with selinexor and venetoclax in combination with chemotherapy at the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D). * Describe the overall survival of patients treated at the RP2D. Exploratory Objectives * Explore associations between leukemia cell genomics, BCL2 family member protein quantification, BH3 profiling, and response to therapy as assessed by minimal residual disease (MRD) and variant clearance using cell-free deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) (cfDNA). * Describe the quality of life of pediatric patients undergoing treatment with selinexor and venetoclax in combination with chemotherapy and explore associations of clinical factors with patient-reported quality of life outcomes. * Describe the clinical and genetic features associated with exceptional response to the combination of venetoclax and selinexor without the addition of chemotherapy.
