NCT02664558
This proof-of-concept study is designed as a Phase 2, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study comparing ubenimex with placebo in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) (World Health Organization \[WHO\] Group 1) and have a WHO/New York Heart Association (NYHA) Functional Classification (WHO/NYHA-FC) of II or III.
NCT02016781
This study is designed as a multicenter trial, with biological assignment to one of two study arms; Arm 1: Reduced intensity conditioning allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (RIC-alloHCT), Arm 2: Non-Transplant Therapy/Best Supportive Care.
NCT02041533
The purpose of this study is to show that Nivolumab will improve progression free survival in subjects with strongly Stage IV or Recurrent PD-L1+ non-small cell lung cancer when compared to chemotherapy
NCT01269424
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. O6-benzylguanine may help temozolomide work better by making tumor cells more sensitive to the drug. Giving genetically modified peripheral blood stem cells during or after treatment may prevent side effects caused by chemotherapy. PURPOSE: This clinical trial studies O6-benzylguanine and temozolomide in combination with genetically modified peripheral blood stem cells in treating patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme.
NCT04748848
CC-90011-AML-002 is a Phase 1/2, open-label, multicenter study to assess the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of CC-90011 given concurrently with Venetoclax and Azacitidine. This study will include 3 parts: a dose escalation part in R/R AML, a dose escalation part in ndAML (treatment-naïve participants with AML who are ≥ 75 years of age or are ≥ 18 to 74 years of age and otherwise not eligible for intensive induction chemotherapy), and a randomized dose expansion part in ndAML of Venetoclax and Azacitidine with or without CC-90011.
NCT00493870
The purpose of this research study is to find out what effects (good and bad) TC or TAC has on early stage HER2- breast cancer.
NCT04287478
This is a phase I/II trial designed to evaluate bacteriophage therapy in patients with urinary tract infections.
NCT02927067
This study is about treatment options for cytomegalovirus infections in people who have received stem cell transplants. The main aim of the study is to check if the cytomegalovirus infection can no longer be detected after treatment with marivabir or valganciclovir. Participants will take 2 tablets of marivabir or valganciclovir and 2 tablets of placebo twice a day for 8 weeks. A placebo will look like marivabir or valganciclovir but will not have any medicine in it. After treatment, each participant will be followed up for up to 12 weeks. Participants will visit their study clinic up to 18 times during the study.
NCT03990363
The purpose of this clinical research study is to establish the dose of verinurad combined with allopurinol 300 mg once daily that will elicit the desired response; ie, reduction in urinary albumin to creatinine ratio (UACR) at 6 months.
NCT04615325
This multicenter study will investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity of RO7303359 following single intravitreal (ITV) injection in participants with geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Participants will receive an ITV injection of RO7303359 in the single ascending dose stage and the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or maximum tested dose (MTeD) of RO7303359 in the expansion stage.
NCT04524351
Annovis is conducting a clinical study to investigate Posiphen in patients with Early Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Early Parkinson's Disease (PD). Investigators are looking to recruit 68 patients in two parts of the study. In Part one of the study Investigators will recruit 14 AD and 14 PD patients who will either receive placebo (an inert pill which looks like the study drug) or the study drug Posiphen, both taken daily. In Part two of the study Investigators will recruit 40 PD patients who will receive different strengths of the study drug Posiphen taken daily. Patients will be required to come to the site for 3 face to face visits and have 4 phone calls, tests include but are not limited to, blood and CSF (spinal fluid) sampling, cognitive assessments, clinical examinations and laboratory safety tests. Primarily the Investigators are looking for the safety and tolerability of Posiphen, although Investigators will also evaluate the activity of Posiphen by a number of different biomarkers measuring pathway and target engagements.
NCT03995901
A randomized controlled study to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and overall benefit of FCR001 cell therapy in de novo living donor renal transplantation.
NCT03691974
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the effect of fasinumab compared to placebo on peripheral nerves in participants with pain due to Osteoarthritis (OA) of the hip or knee. The secondary objectives of the study are to: * Evaluate the efficacy of fasinumab compared to placebo in participants with pain due to OA of the hip or knee * Evaluate the safety and tolerability of fasinumab compared to placebo in participants with pain due to OA of the hip or knee * Characterize the concentrations of fasinumab in serum in participants with pain due to OA of the hip or knee * Evaluate the immunogenicity of fasinumab in participants with pain due to OA of the hip or knee.
NCT01420926
This randomized phase II trial studies how well giving decitabine with or without bortezomib works in treating older patients with acute myeloid leukemia. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as decitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells,by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether decitabine works better when given with or without bortezomib in treating acute myeloid leukemia.
NCT03824587
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the effect of tenapanor on change in s-P levels when tenapanor is administered orally, twice daily for 28 days as adjunctive therapy to ESRD subjects with hyperphosphatemia on stable phosphate binder therapy.
NCT01649388
An open-label study to assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of FCR001 cell therapy in adult recipients 3-12 months after kidney transplantation from a living donor.
NCT03854721
The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability and activity of VAX014 for Instillation (VAX014) in patients with low-grade Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (NMIBC). VAX014 is a targeted oncolytic agent designed to kill tumor cells following instillation into the urinary bladder.
NCT04418297
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, sequential, 5-day treatment, ascending dose study in subjects with obstructive HCM aged 18-70 years. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of CT-G20.
NCT04454229
Whilst validated tools exist to enable inpatient penicillin assessment and de-labelling, limited evidence is available regarding the safety and efficacy in the outpatient clinic. The ability to deliver point-of-care penicillin allergy testing for a large cohort of patients, without skin testing, will improve patient access to testing and utilization of preferred penicillin antibiotics.
NCT02454972
Multicenter, open-label, exploratory, phase II clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of PM01183 in previously treated patients with advanced solid tumors
