NCT01767194
This randomized phase II trial studies how well irinotecan hydrochloride and temozolomide with temsirolimus or dinutuximab work in treating younger patients with neuroblastoma that has returned or does not respond to treatment. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan hydrochloride and temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Temsirolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as dinutuximab, may find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. It is not yet known whether giving irinotecan hydrochloride and temozolomide together with temsirolimus or dinutuximab is more effective in treating neuroblastoma.
NCT01335399
The purpose of the study is to determine whether the addition of Elotuzumab to Lenalidomide/low-dose Dexamethasone will increase the progression free survival (PFS)
NCT03566615
This is a study to compare two different, but normally, used methods of colonoscopy in patients that require a routine or repeat colonoscopy. There will be three arms in this study: WE water control, water plus Cap-1, and water plus Cap-2. The patient will prepare himself/herself for the colonoscopy as per normal instructions and he/she will be given the information for the study at that time so that he/she can make a decision to participate in the study. The control method will use water instead of air inserted into the colon. The study method will use a new accessory, a cap that will fit onto the end of the colonoscope plus water during the procedure. This study will also confirm if using the cap method with water is a better way of detecting polyps in the colon and possibly cancer.
NCT03349645
This Open Label Extension (OLE) study will assess the safety of long-term treatment with a 4 mL intra-articular injection of Ampion™ in adults with pain due to severe osteoarthritis of the knee
NCT02066415
To evaluate the effect of erenumab compared to placebo on the change from baseline in the number of monthly migraine days in adults with chronic migraine.
NCT03579641
The goal of the PREEMPT-HF study is to collect device and clinical event data to evaluate extended applications of the HeartLogic Heart Failure Diagnostic (HeartLogic) in a broad spectrum of heart failure patients with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator or cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator. There are no primary safety and/or efficacy endpoints for this study. Heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome with high morbidity, mortality, and economic burden. Chronic Heart Failure is persistent, gradually progressive, and punctuated by episodes of acute worsening leading to hospitalizations. Therefore, there remains an unmet clinical need to slow the progression of Heart Failure and prevent hospitalizations. HeartLogic, available in Boston Scientific cardiac resynchronization therapy devices and defibrillators, combines novel sensor parameters such as heart sounds and respiration with other measurements like thoracic impedance, heart rate, and activity into a HeartLogic Index for the early detection of worsening Heart Failure. However, there is limited data on the association of HeartLogic with the risk of Hear Failure readmissions and tachyarrhythmias, or for phenotyping the broad spectrum of Heart Failure patients.
NCT04331730
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of AKST4290 in combination with aflibercept injections in subjects with newly diagnosed neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD).
NCT01240902
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Medtronic CoreValve® System in the treatment of symptomatic severe aortic stenosis in subjects who have a predicted high risk for aortic valve surgery and/or very high risk for aortic valve surgery.
NCT02858895
This is a single-arm, open-label, multicenter study in approximately 52 adults with primary (de novo) GB that has recurred or progressed (first or second recurrence, including this recurrence) after treatment(s) including surgery and radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy and following discontinuation of any previous standard or investigational lines of therapy.
NCT03465722
This is an open-label, randomized, Phase 3 study in patients with locally advanced unresectable or metastatic GIST (advanced GIST) of avapritinib (also known as BLU-285) versus regorafenib in patients previously treated with imatinib and 1 or 2 other TKIs.
NCT04908488
The purpose of this study is to compare the clinical performance of PRECISION1™ for Astigmatism (P1fA) contact lenses with 1-DAY ACUVUE MOIST® for ASTIGMATISM (AMfA) contact lenses.
NCT03621644
High-dose magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) guided hypofractionated radiation therapy delivered using daily adaptive dose planning has been shown in a retrospective study to result in improved overall survival, relative to patients receiving lower radiation doses, in patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer, without increasing the rate of serious gastrointestinal toxicity. The goal of the proposed trial is to investigative in a controlled, prospective manner the robustness of this outcome, and to track quality of life over a 5-year trial period.
NCT02551991
This is an open-label, phase 2 non-comparative study to assess the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of nal-IRI in combination with other anticancer therapies in patients not previously treated for metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. This study will assess the following regimen: • nal-IRI + 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)/leucovorin (LV) + oxaliplatin The study will be conducted in two parts: Part 1, consisting of an initial dose exploration (Part 1A) followed by dose expansion (Part 1B) of the irinotecan liposome injection +5-FU/LV + oxaliplatin regimen and Part 2, consisting of a comparison of irinotecan liposome injection-containing regimen versus nab-paclitaxel plus gemcitabine. The comparative Part 2 was removed in a protocol amendment, dated 11 April 2018 (Version 6.0), before it was initiated, as this comparative part of the study is being undertaken as a stand-alone phase III study D-US-60010-001. This CSR only pertains to the single-arm dose exploration and dose expansion Part 1 results and no further reference is made to the comparative Part 2.
NCT02930018
The ESCAPE-NA-1 study is designed to determine the safety and efficacy of the neuroprotectant, Nerinetide (NA-1), in reducing global disability in subjects with major acute ischemic stroke (AIS) with a small established infarct core and with good collateral circulation who are selected for endovascular revascularization.
NCT03665441
This is an open-label, multicenter, randomized, Phase 3 study in patients with ductal adenocarcinoma of the pancreas who have failed only one prior line of systemic anti-cancer therapy for advanced pancreatic cancer and have measurable disease.
NCT00530868
This purpose of this trial is to show that the combination of Avastin and hormone therapy should be more effective than hormone therapy alone for the treatment of breast cancer.
NCT03255057
This study evaluates the safety and efficacy of using the Hemolung RAS to provide low-flow extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal (ECCO2R) as an alternative or adjunct to invasive mechanical ventilation for patients who require respiratory support due to an acute exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). It is hypothesized that the Hemolung RAS can be safely used to avoid or reduce time on invasive mechanical ventilation compared to COPD patients treated with standard-of-care mechanical ventilation alone. Eligible patients will be randomized to receive lung support with either the Hemolung RAS plus standard-of-care mechanical ventilation, or standard-of-care mechanical ventilation alone.
NCT00680628
The purpose of this study is to determine if tenecteplase plus enoxaparin is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with severe submassive pulmonary embolism.
NCT04480424
The purpose of the study is to determine if a high dose of Intravenous Immune Globulin (IVIG) plus Standard Medical Treatment (SMT) can reduce all-cause mortality versus SMT alone in hospitalized participants with COVID-19 requiring admission to the ICU through Day 29.
NCT04022876
