This is a multicenter, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial involving subjects with a diagnosis of "definite NASH" with fibrosis (excluding cirrhosis) as determined by the central histopathologist. Upon successful screening, subjects will be randomized to receive either emricasan 50 mg BID or emricasan 5 mg BID or matching placebo BID.

Radiation treatment for each patient with cancer is designed based on CT scans. We know that tumors in the chest and abdomen move when you breathe. Because of this, there can be differences between planned treatment and the treatment actually delivered to the body. Usually with radiation a safety margin is added to ensure that radiation hits the entire tumor. This can damage healthy parts of the body because the exact location of the tumor is unknown. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a painless and safe diagnostic procedure that uses a powerful magnet and radio waves to produce detailed images of the body's organs and structures, without the use of X-rays or other radiation. The research doctors are studying to see if the position of a tumor can be tracked using MRI scans and tracking sensors placed on the skin. MRI scans and the tracking system used to calculate the location and position of the tumor are both FDA approved technologies. The research doctors will also use the MRI scans to evaluate any changes in your lung function during and following your radiation treatments. In this study the participant will undergo a series of MRI scans with and without contrast dye. This study is being funded through grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the response of the tumor to the treatment regimen that will be used in this study. This study will also test the safety of cetuximab (C225), given with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. We also want to see what effects (good and bad) cetuximab, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy have head \& neck cancer. C225 has been designed to stop the growth of the tumor by blocking certain chemical pathways that lead to tumor cell growth. In prior studies with head \& neck cancer patients, C225 has delayed tumor growth and provided relief of symptoms in some patients.

In a sample of 20 inpatients with a DSM-IV-TR/DSM 5 diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, investigators propose to conduct a prospective, 2 week observational trial to collect gastrointestinal stool samples in order to characterize the microbiota in people with schizophrenia and examine its variability over time. Participants may elect to participate for an additional two weeks, during which they will receive the prebiotic, oligofructose-enriched inulin (FOS), in order to examine its effects on the relative preponderance of butyrate-producing bacteria in the gut microbiome. Investigators will use an inpatient sample in order to standardize meals, exercise and environmental mediators. This is considered a feasibility, pilot study in order to apply for future grant funding. Investigators will recruit patients from the Treatment Research Program inpatient unit, Maryland Psychiatric Research Center, University of Maryland School of Medicine.

The purpose of this study is to: 1. Evaluate the efficacy and safety of the new antipsychotics, quetiapine (300-500mg/day) and risperidone (3-4mg/day) compared to each other and to fluphenazine (10-15mg/day), a high potency typical antipsychotic in patients who meet the DSM IV criteria for schizophrenia. 2. To evaluate the efficacy and safety of quetiapine (1200mg/day) in patients who have not responded to conventional and newer antipsychotics. 3. To evaluate the effectiveness of quetiapine (300-500mg/day), and risperidone (3-5mg/day) compared to each other and fluphenazine (10-15mg/day) in the treatment of hostility and aggression in treatment-resistant schizophrenic patients. 4. To evaluate the effectiveness of quetiapine (300-500mg/day) and risperidone (3-5mg/day) compared to each other and fluphenazine (10-15mg/day) on rates of discharge, quality of life, and independent living skills. 5. To assess prolactin levels and to evaluate any relationship with sexual dysfunction and menstrual irregularities. 6. To evaluate the possible differential impact of treatment conditions on cognitive functioning including measures of attention, motor speed, problem solving, verbal and visual memory, and verbal processing speed. 7. To measure changes in weight and health consequences associated with weight changes.

The purpose of this project is to investigate the possible effect of intranasally administered Oxytocin (OT) on specific mirror neuron areas in human brain. The mirror neuron system (MNS) is thought to be involved in action perception and understanding, and may also underlie more complex cognitive processes such as imitation. We will use electroencephalographic (EEG) investigations to examine brain activity while participants complete two different tasks, consisting of the observation and imitation of emotional facial expressions (video presented) and the observation and execution of simple grasping actions (live presented), respectively. In addition, before the beginning of the EEG recording session, subjects will be randomly assigned to two different groups (Oxytocin or Placebo group) and will receive a dose of either intranasal Oxytocin or Placebo solution. Oxytocin is a polypeptide hormone that plays a critical role in social behavior. We will identify mu and beta rhythm from the ongoing EEG and examine suppression as a function of emotion and goal directed action perception and imitation/execution.

This phase IB trial aims to identify anticancer activity of GSK3052230 in subjects with malignancies with abnormal dependence on FGF pathway signaling. Combination doses of GSK3052230 with standard of care chemotherapy in the first and second line or greater setting of metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and first line malignant pleural mesothelioma subjects will be studied in the 3+3 dose-escalation design. This will be a multi-arm, multicenter, non-randomized, parallel-group, uncontrolled, open-label Phase IB study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability and preliminary activity of GSK3052230 in combination with paclitaxel + carboplatin (Arm A), in combination with docetaxel (Arm B), or in combination with pemetrexed + cisplatin (Arm C). Approximately 70 subjects will be enrolled in the study (approximately up to 120 may be enrolled).

This study evaluates the combination of CBT-1® and doxorubicin for the treatment of metastatic, unresectable sarcoma in patients who have progressed after treatment with 150mg/m2 or less of doxorubicin. Participants will receive CBT-1® on days 1-7 of each 21-day cycle, as well as doxorubicin on days 5 and 6.

Narrowing of coronary arteries interferes with blood flow and can cause chest pain. But patients may have more than one narrowing and studies have shown that not all narrowings need to be treated. To identify the narrowings that need treating cardiologists sometimes quantify the extent of the narrowing by measuring fractional flow reserve (FFR, the ratio of the pressure in the aorta to the pressure downstream of the narrowing).This technique requires the administration of drugs that add cost and time to the procedure and in some countries are simply unavailable. As a result despite the clear health and healthcare costs benefits of FFR its use is limited to less than 5% of procedure. We have developed a new technique called the instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR) that does not require the administration of drugs for its accurate assessment. It has been approved for use in this indication. This study aims to compare clinical outcomes of patients whose treatment has been guided by iFR to those whose treatment has been guided by FFR. If iFR is found to provide the same clinical outcomes as FFR its adoption will permit the clear benefits of this approach of identifying the coronary narrowings that really need treatment to be applicable to a much larger patient population and further improve healthcare costs.

The primary aim of this study is to observe if the use of the rapid responds electroencephalography (EEG) system impacts physician decision making. Secondary aims include exploring the safety and performance information of the Ceribell EEG system compared to conventional EEG system. The study will recruit physicians (Faculty physicians and Trainees) at up to five institutions and examine the impact of rapid response EEG when providing care to patients in whom EEG recording has been ordered for clinical reasons.
