Intra-patient variability (IPV) in tacrolimus is associated with premature graft loss. The rate of acute rejection episodes is higher in these patients, and acute rejection impacts negatively on graft survival. The prevalence of patients with high IPV is higher in African American patients (1-5). At the kidney transplant program of the University of Maryland, our investigators follow over 2.800 patients, with approximately 50% of the patients being of African American heritage, thus an ideal setting for the study.

This study is a longitudinal assessment using a classic dose-escalation study design to assess the safety and maximal tolerated dose (MTD) of locally delivered allogeneic mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) for promoting corneal repair. The study will be conducted at Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary located at University of Illinois at Chicago. The study will use digital conjunctival and corneal photography and corneal Scheimpflug Imaging, densitometry, and pachymetry for assessment of safety and corneal wound healing.

This study evaluates the combination of ublituximab, a novel monoclonal antibody, and TGR-1202, a novel PI3K delta inhibitor compared to obinutuzumab and chlorambucil, and compared to ublituximab or TGR-1202 alone in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) participants.
