NCT03896009
AXS-07 is an oral, investigational medicine consisting of MoSEIC meloxicam and rizatriptan, which is being developed for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults. AXS-07 tablets are formulated to provide an enhanced rate of absorption of meloxicam. This study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AXS-07 compared to meloxicam, rizatriptan, and placebo for the treatment of a migraine attack. This is a randomized, double-blind, 4-arm, parallel group, single-dose, placebo-controlled trial. Subjects who successfully complete screening and continue to meet all entry criteria will be randomly assigned to take one dose of either AXS-07, meloxicam, rizatriptan, or placebo upon the occurrence of a qualifying migraine.
NCT05287035
Current efforts to improve pain alleviation focus on non-opioid pharmaceuticals. Intravenous perioperative corticosteroid administration has been suggested as an alternative method for post-operative pain control. The evidence regarding perioperative intravenous corticosteroids to help alleviate post-operative pain is mixed. Some meta-analyses report decreased opioid consumption and decreased pain intensity after a variety of surgical procedures. However, a study of larger orthopedic procedures found no benefit. The catabolic and immunosuppressant effects of corticosteroids also pose issues with wound healing and infection, which can have severe consequences after spine surgery. There is limited data on the effect of perioperative intravenous steroid administration on pain alleviation in children having surgery to address spine deformity. A recent retrospective review demonstrated that perioperative corticosteroid administration was associated with a statistically significant decrease in opioid medication utilization among children and adolescents after spinal deformity surgery. While not increasing the risk of postoperative complications. The investigators hypothesize that the administration of perioperative intravenous dexamethasone will demonstrate a clinically meaningful and statistically significant decrease in postoperative pain intensity, need for opioid medications, time to ambulation, and length of stay in children recovering from surgery for spine deformity.
NCT05063734
This study is conducted to select the THR-687 dose level (Part A of the study) and to assess the efficacy and safety of the selected dose level compared to aflibercept (Part B of the study).
NCT03187106
The purpose of this study is to determine if the addition of a 48-hour course of post-operative antibiotics to the recommended course of pre-operative antibiotics improves surgical site infection rate in patients who are obese and undergo Cesarean section after laboring.
NCT01011478
RATIONALE: Rosuvastatin may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving rosuvastatin after surgery may kill any tumor cells that remain after surgery. It may also keep polyps from forming or colon cancer from coming back. It is not yet known whether rosuvastatin is more effective than a placebo in treating colon cancer that was removed by surgery. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying rosuvastatin to see how well it works compared with placebo in treating patients with stage I or stage II colon cancer that was removed by surgery.
NCT03738800
This is a phase 2 randomized, multi-center, double-blind, vehicle controlled, 90 day, safety, efficacy, and systemic exposure study followed by a 90 day open-label extension of trifarotene cream in adults and adolescents with autosomal recessive ichthyosis with lamellar scale.
NCT03636256
This is a clinical trial studying the administration of NanoDoce as a direct injection to the bladder wall immediately after tumor resection and as an intravesical instillation. All participants will receive NanoDoce, and will be evaluated for safety and tolerability, as well as the potential effects of NanoDoce on urothelial carcinoma.
NCT00233662
The purpose of this study is to determine whether repeat courses of alefacept, administered intramuscularly, are safe when given to chronic plaque psoriasis patients who are receiving standard dermatology treatments.
NCT04411680
The purpose of this research is to find out if a drug (sargramostim) also known as Leukine® could help patient recover faster from COVID-19. Sargramostim may help the lungs recover from the effects of COVID-19, and this research study will help to find this out.
NCT04196491
This is a multicenter, open-label, phase 1, single arm study intended to determine the optimal target dose and safety of bb2121 in subjects with HR (R-ISS Stage III per IMWG criteria) NDMM. Subjects should have received 3 Cycles of standard induction therapy prior to undergoing leukapheresis procedure to collect autologous mononuclear cells for manufacture of the drug product (bb2121). Following manufacture of the drug product, subjects will receive fourth cycle of induction therapy followed by lymphodepleting therapy with fludarabine and cyclophosphamide prior to bb2121 infusion. Maintenance therapy is recommended for all subjects who have received bb2121 infusion and should be initiated upon adequate bone marrow recovery or from 90-day post-bb2121 infusion, whichever is later.
NCT02931240
A prospective, multi-center, dual-arm pivotal study of the BioVentrix Revivent TC System, with 2:1 study vs. active concurrent control group allocation ratio. This study will include 126 patients of which 84 patients will be treated with the investigational device and 42 patients will be included in an active control group.
NCT02034110
This was a Phase II, open-label, non-randomized, multi-center study of oral dabrafenib in combination with oral trametinib in subjects with rare cancers harboring the BRAF V600E mutation including anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC), biliary tract cancer (BTC), gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), low grade (WHO G1/G2) glioma (LGG), high grade (WHO G3/G4) glioma (HGG), non-seminomatous germ cell tumors (NSGCT) / non-germinomatous germ cell tumors (NGGCT), adenocarcinoma of the small intestine (ASI), hairy cell leukemia (HCL) and multiple myeloma (MM).
NCT04629703
The study is a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, multi-center, Phase 3 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of fostamatinib in COVID-19 subjects.
NCT01770951
The objective of this retrospective trial is to assess safety and efficacy of eculizumab in aHUS patients treated outside of an Alexion-sponsored controlled clinical trial.
NCT03695380
The study will include a safety run-in phase (Stage 1) and a randomization phase (Stage 2). The purpose of Stage 1 is to evaluate the safety of cobimetinib when administered in combination with niraparib (Cohort 1) and cobimetinib with niraparib plus atezolizumab (Cohort 2). Stage 1 will enable patient enrollment in the randomized phase of the study (Stage 2) with both regimens at the recommended dose levels from Stage 1. Stage 2 is a randomized, dose-expansion phase, evaluating clinical outcomes in patients with advanced platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer. All patients will continue to receive study treatment until disease progression (according to "Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors" (RECIST), Version 1.1, unacceptable toxicity, death, or patient or investigator decision to withdraw, whichever occurs first.
