NCT02674308
The purpose of this study is to assess the long-term safety of vedolizumab versus other biologic agents in participants with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or Crohn's Disease (CD).
NCT05913765
The goal of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of stand-alone air filtration for improving indoor air quality (IAQ) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) outcomes in a high-risk urban cohort of 80 U.S. military veterans with COPD. Secondary goals of the study are to (1) investigate housing-related factors that may contribute to COPD exacerbation, (2) investigate the utility of using low-cost sensors for indoor air pollution epidemiology studies and for providing actionable or useful information on the quality of their indoor air to patients and their physicians, and (3) evaluate the costs and benefits of using stand-alone air filtration to improve IAQ and COPD outcomes.
NCT02760329
The NOVEL Observational longiTudinal studY (NOVELTY) is an observational study of obstructive lung disease and is a multi-country, multi-centre, prospective, longitudinal cohort study which will recruit patients with a diagnosis, or suspected diagnosis, of asthma and/or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Patients will undergo clinical assessments and receive standard medical care as determined by their treating physician. Patients enrolled in NOVELTY will be followed up yearly by their treating physician for a total duration of three years. In addition, patients will be followed up remotely every 3 months. The NOVELTY study will collect data currently lacking to allow for multinational data collection to fill regional/local gaps and improve comparability across regions.
NCT03804840
Marijuana use, for both recreational and therapeutic purposes, is becoming increasingly common as states remove restrictions on use. The increased use raises new concern about the safety of this drug, including its ability to impair basic cognitive and psychomotor tasks, and whether the users are aware of their impairment. We propose to design a simple performance test that users can use in the field, using a cell phone, to assess their level of impairment relative to their own drug-free state. In this preliminary study, we will compare participants' simple task performance after a known dose of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), or placebo, administered under double-blind conditions. In our app the participants will be asked to gauge their own perceived level of impairment (as determined by self-ratings and judgments of impairment) as well as their actual impairment (as gauged by the app), providing important feedback and training about their ability to detect impairment.
NCT03675126
The purpose of this extension study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of repeat administrations of SRP-5051 (vesleteplirsen) in participants with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) who participated in studies of SRP-5051.
NCT03583099
A prospective, multicenter study including a cross-section validation to define sensitivity and specificity of CAPTURE to identify previously undiagnosed patients with clinically significant Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and its impact on clinical care across a broad range of primary care settings in a cluster randomized controlled clinical trial.
NCT04632940
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of pamrevlumab versus placebo in combination with systemic corticosteroids administered every 2 weeks in ambulatory participants with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) (age 6 to \<12 years).
NCT06549010
Perimetry is an essential component in the diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma. Since the advent of Standard Automated Perimetry (SAP), one of the clinical standards has been the Humphrey Field Analyzer (HFA, Carl Zeiss AG, Oberkochen, Germany). Visual field (VF) testing provided by the HFA is standard-of-care in glaucoma clinics and other ophthalmology and optometry practices. However, the HFA is a large device that does not allow for examination outside the clinic and can be uncomfortable for patients with limited mobility. This study aims to evaluate a novel head-mounted perimeter against the HFA as an alternative method of VF testing. This new perimeter uses a Virtual Reality (VR) headset and a gamified version of VF testing to assess the visual function of healthy eyes and patients. The results of this study will potentially serve as pilot data for the design of a larger study that involves the full assessment of the VR headset and its VF test, based on various testing strategies.
NCT02728999
Patient/Population: Women over the age of 18, who are not pregnant and are undergoing benign, robotic-assisted gynecologic procedures at Lutheran General Hospital. Intervention: Decreasing the angle of Trendelenburg for the procedure Control: Steep Trendelenburg, which is the usual standard of care, to the limit of the operative bed, which is 30 degrees. Outcome: Outcomes will include the mean angle of Trendelenburg in the experimental arm and the difference in Trendelenburg between the two arms. Additional outcomes included will be end tidal Carbon dioxide, peak airway pressure, mean arterial pressure, heart rate and arterial Carbon dioxide. Secondary outcomes will include operative time, blood loss and conversion to laparotomy.
NCT03861169
This study will prospectively assess the clinical effect of ab-interno transluminal viscoelastic delivery and trabeculotomy performed using the OMNI Surgical System in combination with Cataract Extraction on intraocular pressure (IOP) and the use of IOP-lowering medications in patients with mild-moderate open angle glaucoma (OAG).
NCT04360174
To assess the safety, tolerability and efficacy of a single sustained release dose of OTX-TIC, a sustained release travoprost drug product, in subjects with primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
NCT05254171
The study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study of standard treatment with nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine with or without SBP-101 in subjects previously untreated for metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA), including subjects who have received prior neoadjuvant or adjuvant treatment.
NCT05251727
To evaluate the safety and tolerability of ART-123 in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer who receive oxaliplatin-containing chemotherapy and bevacizumab
NCT04877990
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of Deucravacitinib in participants who have previously been enrolled in a Deucravacitinib Phase 2 study for moderate to severe Crohn's disease or moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis.
NCT04913337
Study of NGM707 as Monotherapy and in Combination with Pembrolizumab in Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumor Malignancies

The overall purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate safety and efficacy of the MuReva Phototherapy System with a light delivery mouthpiece to reduce the severity of oral mucositis (OM) in adult patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity, oropharynx, tonsils and base of tongue receiving radiation therapy with or without concurrent chemotherapy.
NCT03782298
Safety and performance of the study devices in extremities up to 12 months post-surgery
NCT05479058
Participants who were in clinical remission on 200 milligram (mg) filgotinib once daily for at least 2 consecutive quarterly visits in the ongoing SELECTION-LTE study (GS-US-418-3899, NCT02914535), were planned to be rolled over and randomized in this study. The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of filgotinib in participants in stable clinical remission on 200 mg filgotinib once daily for whom the dose was decreased to 100 mg once daily compared to participants remaining on 200 mg once daily.
