NCT05442359
The main aim of soft tissue grafts is to treat mucogingival defects such as exposed root surfaces or augment gingival tissue dimensions. In single or multiple root coverage procedures, autogenous grafts are considered to be the gold standard. where the palate is considered to be the most frequent site for graft harvesting, this procedure is accompanied with complications such as postoperative pain and bleeding. Despite all materials used in the literature, no proven golden standard exits. This study will compare the effect of Nano-Bio Fusion gingival gel versus natural healing with stent as a palatal dressing in the management of wound healing and pain.
NCT06463015
This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of ultrasound (US)-guided posterior tibial nerve pulsed radiofrequency (PTN PRF) in the treatment of painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPNP) refractory to conservative treatments. For this evaluation, the visual analog scale (VAS), PainDETECT neuropathic pain scores, and Jenkins Sleep Scale (JSS) will be used before and after the PTN PRF.
NCT05285943
This study aims to compare the prophylactic effect of topical betamethasone valerate cream and topical olive oil cream in the prevention of acute radiation dermatitis (ARD) in breast cancer patients treated with radiation. Betamethasone valerate, olive oil cream and the base cream will be compared in a randomized trial to evaluate and compare the development and degree of ARD grading according to Radiation Toxicity Grading (RTOG) skin toxicity score, percentage of patients with the maximum observed ARD grade for each arm of the study, percentage of patients with moist desquamation for each arm of the study, percentage of radiodermatitis-free patients at end of therapy (EOT=time point specifically at end of 2 weeks post radiation therapy). In addition, the patients' quality of life will be evaluated using Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI).
