NCT02853032
Mounting amounts of evidence suggests that non-invasive stimulation of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) maybe a safe and effective treatment modality for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). However the large variability in the magnitude of clinical outcomes reported is likely related to the current lack of knowledge of ideal side of stimulation (left vs right) and the limited precision in the targeting of brain circuits needed to obtain an optimal treatment response. In this protocol the investigators will: 1) generate individualized treatment plans based on an individual's functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) and meta-analytical based connectivity analysis to guide the delivery of adjunct, imaging-based \& robotically delivered rTMS to active duty military (ADM) subjects with PTSD participating in an intensive program providing integrated evidence-based psychotherapy and pharmacological management (Treatment as Usual (TAU)). 2) To use clinician ratings and self-report PTSD symptom scales, as well as other indicators of clinical change, to determine whether compared with TAU, addition of adjunct rTMS improves clinical outcomes. 3) To conduct neuroimaging-based assessments aimed to measure rTMS effects on network connectivity in ADM receiving treatment for PTSD and the potential correlation of connectivity changes with clinical outcomes.
NCT01121159
Accuracy of posttraumatic orbital reconstruction of the medial orbital wall and/or floor is better with preoperatively preformed orbital implants than with non-preformed orbital implants.
NCT03539549
The objective of this study is to evaluate abicipar pegol for safety and treatment effects in participants with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
NCT02462928
This is a safety and efficacy study of abicipar pegol in participants with neovascular age-related macular degeneration.
NCT04242407
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the analgesic efficacy of Dexmedetomidine Transdermal System (DMTS), compared with placebo, in participants following abdominoplasty.
NCT01097577
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of pregabalin to placebo for postoperative pain control after photorefractive keratectomy.
NCT00007007
RATIONALE: Assessment of patients undergoing radiation therapy may help to determine the effects of the treatment and may help improve cancer treatment. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying the memory skills in patients receiving radiation therapy for brain metastases.
NCT00003825
RATIONALE: Pentosan polysulfate may be effective in treating side effects of radiation therapy to the abdomen or pelvis. It is not yet known whether pentosan polysulfate is more effective than no further therapy for treating gastrointestinal disturbance caused by previous radiation therapy. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to determine the effectiveness of pentosan polysulfate in treating patients who have inflammation of the rectum, diarrhea, or blood in stools caused by previous radiation therapy to the abdomen and pelvis.
NCT01290367
The purpose of this study is to compare two doses of immunoselected, culture-expanded, nucleated, allogeneic adult MPCs when combined with hyaluronic acid to two control intradiscal injections in subjects with chronic low back pain due to moderate Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) at one lumbar level from L1 to S1. All investigational subjects in this study will undergo injection of either 6 million (M) or 18M cells in a hyaluronic acid carrier into the degenerated lumbar disc's nucleus pulposus. All control subjects will undergo an intradiscal control injection with either saline or hyaluronic acid only
NCT03304106
Use of Artificial Intelligent (AI) technology to assist audiologists in programming cochlear implants.
NCT00006360
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of radiation therapy in treating patients who have stage II or stage III oropharyngeal cancer.
NCT01736852
The CRB study is designed to study the safety and effectiveness of the Cook Cervical Ripening Balloon (CRB) for the induction of labor in term and near-term patients with premature rupture of membranes (PROM).
NCT02709889
The primary objective of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of rovalpituzumab tesirine in subjects with specific delta-like protein 3-expressing advanced solid tumors.
NCT02983227
A study to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of GDC-0853 in participants with moderate to severe active Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) who have completed 12 weeks of study treatment in Study GA29350. Eligible participants from Study GA29350 who elect to participate will receive treatment with GDC-0853 twice daily (BID) in an open-label fashion for 52 weeks, followed by a safety follow-up period of 8 weeks.
NCT02228564
Collect confirmatory evidence of the safety and effectiveness of the Balloon LIFESTREAM™ Stent Graft for the treatment of stenoses and occlusion in the iliac arteries.
NCT03559257
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of galcanezumab in people with treatment-resistant episodic or chronic migraine.
NCT00033280
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Combining chemotherapy and radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of combining temozolomide with radiation therapy in treating patients who have newly diagnosed anaplastic oligodendrogliomas or mixed anaplastic oligoastrocytomas.
NCT02532517
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate effectiveness and safety of the CODMAN ENTERPRISE® Vascular Reconstruction Device and Delivery System.
NCT04540185
In this randomized double blind Phase 3 clinical trial we will study the efficacy and safety of oral polio vaccine with and without NA-831 versus placebo.
NCT04258891
The incidence of end stage renal disease (ESRD) is rapidly increasing, now affecting an estimated 7.4 million people worldwide. Numerous parameters such as demographic, clinical and functional factors drive the deterioration of the kidney, ultimately leading to ESRD. Although some ESRD prediction models have been derived in the past years, none of these models are dynamic: they do not integrate the repeated measurements recorded throughout individuals' follow-up. As highlighted in several studies, kidney function repeated measurements (i.e., trajectories) are highly associated with graft survival after kidney transplantation. The investigators made the hypothesis that these trajectories may bring relevant information in the context of graft survival risk prediction model. Hence, combining these trajectories with standard graft survival risk factors may enhance prediction performance. This could permit to derive a robust tool that could be updated over time by continuously capturing patient' personal evolution.
