NCT04136366
The GUARD Trial is a multi-center, randomized, controlled, adaptive Phase 3 clinical trial of repeated intravitreal injections of ADX-2191 versus standard-of-care for the prevention of proliferative vitreoretinopathy.
NCT05876871
The primary aim of this investigation is to prospectively and clinically validate a novel, reproducible method of quantitative application of compressive stress to a LC1 pelvic ring injury of indeterminate stability for the purpose of assessing quantitative pelvic ring displacement.
NCT06399302
This project aims to collect detailed clinical data, blood samples, and patient-reported outcomes from 2,600 lung transplant candidates, donors, and recipients at Lung Transplant Centers. The goal is to create a robust resource for various research objectives, including studying the impact of variations in donor and medical practices on clinical outcomes. The project also seeks to identify serum biomarkers associated with or predictive of specific post-transplant complications and conditions.
NCT05757570
The goal of this clinical study is to evaluate povetacicept in adults with autoimmune cytopenias of immune thrombocytopenia, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, and cold agglutinin disease to determine if povetacicept is safe and potentially beneficial in treating these diseases. During the study treatment period participants will receive povetacicept approximately every 4 weeks for 6 months, with the possibility of participating in a 6-month study treatment extension period.
NCT03025308
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of filgotinib in participants who have completed one of the parent studies of filgotinib in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
NCT05153330
A Phase 1 first-in-human dose-escalation and dose-expansion study of BMF-219, an oral covalent menin inhibitor, in adult patients with AML, ALL (with KMT2A/ MLL1r, NPM1 mutations), DLBCL, MM, and CLL/SLL.
NCT01892397
The purpose of this study is to find out what effects, good or bad, the Optune device has on the patient and meningioma. This study is being done because currently there are no proven effective medical treatments for a progressive meningioma that has failed surgery and/or radiation. The study uses an experimental device called Optune. Optune is "experimental" because it has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for this type of tumor, although it has been approved for a different type of brain tumor.
NCT05685004
This randomized study is designed to compare the combination of TVI-Brain-1 immunotherapy and standard therapy compared to standard therapy alone as a treatment for newly diagnosed MGMT unmethylated glioblastoma patients. The patients' own cancer cells collected after surgery are combined into a vaccine to produce an immune response that significantly increases the number of cancer neoantigen-specific effector T cell precursors in the patient's body. These cancer neoantigen-specific T cells are harvested from the blood, subsequently stimulated and expanded, and infused back into the patient.
NCT02675452
The main objectives are to evaluate the safety and tolerability of AMG 176 monotherapy in participants with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma and participants with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia.
NCT04460937
This phase I trial investigates the side effects and best dose of adavosertib and how well it works when given in combination with radiation therapy in treating patients with esophageal or gastroesophageal junction cancer for which no treatment is currently available (incurable). Adavosertib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving adavosertib together with radiation therapy kill more tumor cells than radiation therapy alone in treating patients with esophageal and gastroesophageal junction cancer.
NCT05625594
This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of intracerebroventricularly (ICV) administered CD19-chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells in treating patients with central nervous system (CNS) lymphoma. CAR T cell therapy is a type of treatment in which a patient's T cells (a type of immune system cell) are changed in the laboratory so they will attack cancer cells. T cells are taken from a patient's blood. Then the gene for a special receptor that binds to a certain protein, CD19, on the patient's cancer cells is added to the T cells in the laboratory. The special receptor is called a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR). Large numbers of the CAR T cells are grown in the laboratory and given to the patient by infusion for treatment of certain cancers. ICV is an injection technique that delivers the CD19-CAR T cells directly into the cerebrospinal fluid (which flows in and around the hollow spaces of the brain and spinal cord, and the thin layers of tissue that cover and protect the brain and spinal cord) in the brain, through a surgically placed catheter. Giving CD19-CAR T cells ICV may be more effective at treating patients with CNS lymphoma than giving them via other methods.
NCT05443425
This phase I trial tests the safety and side effects of leflunomide in combination with steroids in treating patients with acute graft versus host disease who have undergone done stem cell transplant for blood cancers (hematologic malignancies). Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can attack the body's normal cells (called graft-versus-host disease). Leflunomide and steroids are immunosuppressive drugs that work in different ways to lower the body's immune response so that the new donor immune cells do not attack the body's normal cells. Giving leflunomide in combination with steroids may help treat acute graft versus host disease in patients after stem cell transplant for hematologic malignancies.
NCT04212416
This phase I trial studies the side effects of leflunomide in treating patients with steroid dependent chronic graft versus host disease (cGVHD). cGVHD is a common complication of bone marrow transplant. GVHD occurs when immune cells transplanted from a donor (the graft) recognize the transplant recipient (the host) as foreign, and cause damage to the skin, gastrointestinal tract or other organs. Steroids are the first line of therapy and benefits are seen in about one-third of patients with cGVHD. Prolonged use of steroids is associated with multiple complications. Leflunomide may decrease the body's immune response and reduce inflammation associated with cGVHD.
NCT04737265
Investigators will evaluate the safety and feasibility of a biomarker-guided cardioprotection strategy using NTproBNP, as compared to usual care, in breast cancer and lymphoma patients treated with anthracyclines.
NCT05751863
The study's aim is to ascertain the best approach for providing sedation and pain management for patients who have sustained trauma and are requiring respiratory support from a mechanical ventilator. The common approach to patients who need mechanical ventilation is to provide continuous drips of sedatives and pain medicine and awaken the patient once a day to check the brain functions. Another approach is to provide pain medicine and reserve sedatives for only a short duration when needed. The difference between approaches has not been studied in Trauma patients.
NCT05230537
The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of Iptacopan to prevent conversion of early or intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD) eyes to new incomplete retinal pigment epithelium and outer retinal atrophy (iRORA) or late AMD.
NCT06453460
This is a phase 2, prospective cohort clinical trial evaluating the utilization of CMV T Cell Immunity Panel (CMV-TCIP) assay to guide the duration of primary CMV prophylaxis in CMV-seropositive recipients of allogeneic stem cell transplant or recipients receiving a stem cell graft from a CMV serology positive donor.
NCT05888740
This study is evaluating whether a therapeutic ultrasound device can improve symptoms in the leg of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) patients 65 years of age and over.
NCT05636124
This is a multi-center, prospective, propensity matched twin armed study conducted on 50 patients in the experimental arm followed for 18 months after intervention evaluating cost effectiveness, safety and efficacy of therapy.
NCT05147571
To demonstrate that the RNS System for thalamic stimulation is safe and effective as an adjunctive therapy for the reduction of primary generalized seizures in individuals 12 years of age or older who have drug-resistant idiopathic generalized epilepsy.
