Part I of this study surveys patients in the Penn Dermatologic Surgery Clinic to evaluate if a need exists for increased patient understanding of their skin history and which factors, if any, related to the patient or their skin history are associated with this need. In part II, the study aim is to evaluate mobile technology as a way of improving patient understanding of diagnoses, treatments, and procedures. In this part of the study, eligible patients from part I will be randomized either to a control group that receives the current standard of care regarding in-clinic counseling, informational handouts, and access to their medical records, or to an intervention group that in addition to the current standard of care, is setup with a mobile app, allowing patients to view a skin history summary report and a reference on their skin findings and procedures. Patients then complete a survey to establish their baseline understanding of their clinic visit. Three weeks later the patient is emailed a follow-up survey to assess their understanding of their in-clinic visit. Differences in understanding between the two study groups will be assessed by comparing the number of correctly answered survey items regarding their in-clinic visit, both at baseline (immediately following their surgery) and three weeks later. Qualitative information regarding satisfaction and areas of improvement will also be collected via survey. Patients who have an appointment during the study period at the Penn Dermatologic Surgery clinic for a skin excision will be eligible for inclusion.

RATIONALE: Vaccines made from peptides may make the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial is studying four different vaccines using melanoma peptides from cytotoxic T cells and helper T cells to see how well they work in treating patients with metastatic melanoma.

RATIONALE: Chemoprevention therapy is the use of certain drugs to try to prevent the development or recurrence of cancer. The use of tretinoin and/or fenretinide may be an effective way to prevent the recurrence or further development of dysplastic nevus syndrome. PURPOSE: Randomized phase II trial to compare the effectiveness of tretinoin with or without fenretinide in treating patients with dysplastic nevus syndrome.

The primary objectives of the Phase 1b part of the study are to evaluate the safety, as assessed by incidence of dose limiting toxicity (DLT), of talimogene laherparepvec in combination with pembrolizumab in adults with previously untreated, unresectable, stage IIIB to IVM1c melanoma. This is an international multicenter, open-label, sequential phase study of intralesional (IL) PV-10 in combination with immune checkpoint inhibition. Metastatic melanoma patients (Stage IV or Stage III unresectable, in-transit or satellite disease) with at least one injectable lesion who are candidates for pembrolizumab (both treatment naïve patients and treatment refractory patients who have failed to achieve a complete or partial response to or previously progressed on one or more checkpoint inhibitor) will be eligible for study participation. In the Phase 1b portion of the study, all participants will receive the combination of IL PV-10 and pembrolizumab (i.e., PV-10 + standard of care). In the subsequent Phase 2 portion of the study participants will be randomized 1:1 to receive either the combination of IL PV-10 and pembrolizumab or pembrolizumab alone (i.e., PV-10 + standard of care vs. standard of care).

This phase I trial studies the best dose and side effects of trigriluzole in combination with nivolumab and pembrolizumab in treating patients with solid malignancies or lymphoma that has spread to other places in the body or cannot be removed by surgery. Trigriluzole may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and pembrolizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving trigriluzole in combination with nivolumab and pembrolizumab may work better at treating patients with solid malignancies or lymphoma.

This study is being done to find out if SEA-CD40 is safe and effective when given alone, in combination with pembrolizumab, and in combination with pembrolizumab, gemcitabine, and nab-paclitaxel. The study will test increasing doses of SEA-CD40 given at least every 3 weeks to small groups of patients. The goal is to find the highest dose of SEA-CD40 that can be given to patients that does not cause unacceptable side effects. Different dose regimens will be evaluated. Different methods of administration may be evaluated. The pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamic effects, biomarkers of response, and antitumor activity of SEA-CD40 will also be evaluated.

Open-label, Phase I-II, first-in-human (FIH) study for A166 monotherapy in HER2-expressing or amplified patients who progressed on or did not respond to available standard therapies. Patients must have documented HER2 expression or amplification. The patient must have exhausted available standard therapies. Patients will receive study drug as a single IV infusion. A sample of mothers in Tennessee are recruited to a group-randomized pretest-posttest controlled trial evaluating the effect of a social media campaign to decrease mothers' permissiveness for daughters to indoor tan. The primary outcomes is mothers' permissiveness for indoor tanning by daughters. Secondary outcomes are mother's indoor tanning prevalence and their support for stricter bans on indoor tanning by minors.
