NCT02500550
The purpose of this study is to determine whether a repeat dose administration of ATIR101 is safe and effective when infused in patients with a hematologic malignancy following a T-cell depleted stem cell graft from a related haploidentical donor. All patients are planned to receive two ATIR101 doses of 2×10E6 viable T-cells/kg, unless the second dose is reduced or halted for safety reasons.
NCT04887441
Digital technology is essential in the field of health, via connected objects, the medical Internet or even telemedicine; and the info-communication practices (ways of getting information and communicating) of the actors go through digital devices. In addition, at present, the mass of activity documents to be managed in healthcare establishments and an abundant supply of documentary resources in health, available on the Internet, lead to infobesity, information pollution, and work overload. These phenomena lead to an increase in the time spent searching for relevant information and even to the burnout of healthcare professionals. A contextualization of the information communication systems through which the practices of health professionals pass therefore seems necessary so that the tools for managing, extracting and organizing knowledge can support these actors in their work. In the field of allergies, there are many players, and the information that is useful to them is abundant and heterogeneous. This study is based on the hypothesis that a knowledge organization model, developed from existing practices, could make it possible to obtain satisfactory results when searching for information, and be integrated into the daily practices of actors by linking up with other already existing systems and tools.
NCT00308750
The purposes of this study are to determine: The safety of enzastaurin plus pemetrexed with carboplatin, pemetrexed with carboplatin, or docetaxel with carboplatin and any side effects that might be associated with the combination of these drugs. Whether the combination of enzastaurin plus pemetrexed and carboplatin or pemetrexed and carboplatin can help participants with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) live longer, compared with the combination of docetaxel and carboplatin. Whether the combination of enzastaurin plus pemetrexed and carboplatin or pemetrexed and carboplatin can make your tumor smaller or disappear, and for how long, compared with the combination of docetaxel and carboplatin. The effects of enzastaurin plus pemetrexed with carboplatin, pemetrexed with carboplatin or docetaxel with carboplatin have on your disease related symptoms. The relation of smoking history and hormone replacement therapy (for women only) may have to your lung cancer treatment results. The effects of certain genes and proteins in samples of your blood and tumor tissue in order to learn more about NSCLC and how enzastaurin works in the body.
NCT00452413
Phase I: A study to see what doses of Enzastaurin and Erlotinib are best tolerated by participants with solid tumor cancer. Phase II: A study to see how long participants with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated with Enzastaurin and Erlotinib live.
NCT00533429
The purpose of this study is to determine if Pemetrexed plus Carboplatin plus Bevacizumab plus Enzastaurin, followed by maintenance Bevacizumab plus Enzastaurin can extend survival time without disease progression in the first-line treatment of participants with advanced stage non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT04884906
To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of camrelizumab combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy for recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer
NCT04879316
CERTIM is a cohort created in July 2015 to set up a multidisciplinary follow-up of cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors. From the CERTIM cohort, we conducted a longitudinal, prospective, observational study (ELY) in two tertiary university centers (Cochin hospital and European Georges Pompidou Hospital), which included patients between August 2016 and October 2019 and ended follow-up in April 2020. Patients were treated with nivolumab, at a dose of 3 mg/kg every 2 weeks, or pembrolizumab, at a dose of 2mg/kg every 3 weeks. The investigators report findings from an evaluation of rest energy expenditure (REE) assessed using indirect calorimetry in the outpatient setting before treatment with checkpoints inhibitors.
NCT04882033
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the tolerability and toxicity of different dose of anlotinib combination with concurrent chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of limited-stage SCLC patients.
NCT02129582
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of targeted marrow irradiation when given with fludarabine phosphate and busulfan before donor progenitor cell transplant in treating patients with hematologic malignancies. Targeted marrow irradiation is a type of specialized radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the cancer cells, which may kill more cancer cells and cause less damage to normal cells. Giving targeted marrow irradiation and chemotherapy drugs, such as fludarabine phosphate and busulfan, before a donor progenitor cell transplant may help stop the growth of cancer cells. It may also stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's progenitor cells. When the healthy progenitor cells from a donor are infused into the patient they may help the patient's bone marrow make progenitor cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
NCT04304248
This is an open-label, single-arm, phase II, multi-center clinical trial. Thirty patients will be enrolled in this trial to investigate the pathological complete response rate defined as the absence of residual tumor in lung and lymph nodes treated by chemo-immunotherapy.
NCT00951496
This randomized phase III trial studies bevacizumab and intravenous (given into a vein) chemotherapy to see how well they work compared with bevacizumab and intraperitoneal (given into the abdominal cavity) chemotherapy in treating patients with stage II-III ovarian epithelial cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread by blocking the growth of new blood vessels necessary for tumor growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, carboplatin, and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. It is not yet known whether giving bevacizumab together with intravenous chemotherapy is more effective than giving bevacizumab together with intraperitoneal chemotherapy in treating patients with ovarian epithelial cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer.
NCT04298866
Cerebral small vessel diseases (SVD) are a very frequent group of disorders all characterized by alterations of the structure and/or function of small arteries, veins and capillaries. In these disorders, brain tissue lesions accumulate years before the occurrence of clinical symptoms which can be devastating such as stroke, cognitive disturbances and gait disorders. So far, chronic hypoperfusion was considered to be responsible for the accumulation of such lesions. However, recent results have suggested that the lesions underlying white matter hyperintensities (WMH), the most common MRI marker of SVD visible on conventional MRI in quite every subject with SVD long before the occurrence of clinical events, may depend on the considered brain area and may correspond to various mechanisms. Some WMH may even be associated with less severe clinical manifestations. The aim of the present study is to identify different types of WMH by studying 100 patients with different forms of SVD with the most advanced MRI (including ultra-high-resolution imaging at 7 Tesla, new diffusion protocol, sodium MRI, contrast-enhanced angiography and relaxometry and post-processing techniques), and post-processing techniques (machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence).
NCT01835626
Chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery are standard treatments for basal cell carcinoma at most institutions. The purpose of this study is to determine whether adding vismodegib to radiation (chemoradiotherapy) is safe and tolerable. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of combined radiation therapy and vismodegib. This combination may increase the chances of the tumors being destroyed or unable to spread to other parts of the body in people with locally advanced basal cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
NCT04330547
The purpose of this study is to characterize and improve pain and nociception management in patients with disorders of consciousness (DOC). This project is divided into two phases, a first phase to evaluate pain level and a second phase which consist of a clinical trial to evalute pain medication efficacy. The main aim is to evaluate the use of the Nociception Coma Scale-Revised (NCS-R) and its cut-off score (i.e., 5) as an assessment and management tool to define guidelines for managing pain in patients with DOC. In this double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, we will evaluate the use of analgesic treatments in reducing pain in subacute/chronic patients. The project will also allow us to validate the NCS-R cut-off score defined previously.
NCT03250338
This is a randomized, multi-center, double-blind, placebo-controlled study designed to evaluate the efficacy of crenolanib administered following salvage chemotherapy, consolidation chemotherapy, post bone marrow transplantation and as maintenance in relapsed/refractory AML subjects with FLT3 activating mutation.
NCT04829708
This is a prospective, open, multicenter, randomized controlled phase III clinical trial. In patients with LS-SCLC who achieve remission after first-line chemoradiotherapy, the efficacy and safety of PCI or MRI surveillance is evaluated and analyzed. PCI is performed in hopes of preventing spread of cancer into the brain. The use of brain MRI alone may reduce side effects of receiving PCI and prolong patients' lifespan. MRI surveillance alone (delaying radiation until the actual brain metastasis) may be not inferior to PCI.
NCT01167595
Critically ill patients are consistently underfed. Feeding protocols are standardized system tools used to guide nutrition practices, but to date have failed to improve delivery of nutrition. The PEP uP Protocol is a new enhanced feeding protocol. Twenty North American Intensive Care Units (ICUs) will assess baseline nutrition practices. Ten ICUs will be randomized to implement the PEP uP Protocol and educational intervention, and ten will be randomized to continue usual care. Nutrition practices will be reevaluated 6 months after baseline. The investigators hypothesize that the PEP uP Protocol will increase delivery of nutrition, and may ultimately lead to improved survival of critical illness.
NCT04161547
A randomized, single-center, double-blind, ascending multiple-dose, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the tolerability and pharmacokinetics of CSPCHA115 capsules in Chinese healthy volunteers.
NCT04357847
The outbreak at covid-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This virus can be responsible for severe respiratory failure but also for extra-respiratory organ dysfunctions associated with severe inflammatory stress. The endothelium is an important structure of the blood vessels and is implicated in the organ failure of many patients admitted in intensive care units. It could be affected by the virus and its alteration may explain the organ dysfunction of covid-19 ICU patients as well as the thrombotic processes frequently obstructed in this infection.
NCT04863820
Our primary objective in this study is to investigate the cutaneous silent period (CSP) in normal subjects in the Egyptian population, as it was not carried out before in Egypt. The aim was to carry out the test in our unit to study the appropriate method, technique, and parameters of this new test so that we can apply it in future research. In addition, to obtain preliminary normative data of the test; onset latency, end latency, duration, and latency difference (LD) of CSP, as well as assess the effect of age, height, upper limb length, and gender on CSP values.
