Primary objective of this open label, two-arm, multicenter, multinational, randomized trial is to compare anti-leukemic activity of allogeneic stem cell transplantation for patients with acute leukemia in complete remission between a 10/10 HLA matched unrelated donor and a haploidentical donor. The hypothesis: Haploidentical stem cell transplantation with post cyclophosphamide induces a stronger anti-leukemic activity in comparison to 10/10 HLA matched unrelated donor and reduces the risk of relapse at 2 years after stem cell transplantation by 10%.

The goal of this observational study is to understand the long-term outcomes of children in the Netherlands who experience cardiac arrest, either in or outside of the hospital. The main questions it aims to answer are: What are the survival rates and neurological outcomes in children after cardiac arrest? What types of emergency and post-resuscitation care are provided, and how do they impact long-term recovery? How do children and their families function over time after the event? Researchers will analyze data from routine medical records and follow patients through standard outpatient visits. No extra procedures will be required beyond normal care. For those who survive to hospital discharge, additional follow-up data will be collected with consent. Participants will: Be children under 18 years old who have had a cardiac arrest and were treated in one of the seven participating academic hospitals Have their routine medical care data collected anonymously Be invited (if surviving) for follow-up visits at 3, 12, and 24 months post-arrest and at specific ages (5, 8, 12, and 17 years) to assess physical and psychological recovery

This study evaluates the effectiveness of an 8-week multicomponent exercise program conducted at home with digital support through the VIVIFIL mobile application, compared to a traditional in-person hospital-based exercise program, in community-dwelling older adults with a history of falls. The GAIT2CARE study is a multicenter, non-randomized, quasiexperimental clinical trial conducted in three Spanish public hospitals. Participants aged 70 years or older were assigned to one of two intervention groups depending on the hospital: (1) home-based exercise using the VIVIFIL App with remote monitoring by a healthcare professional, or (2) conventional in-person multicomponent exercise supervised at the hospital. Both interventions included aerobic, strength, balance, and flexibility training. The study aims to assess improvements in physical performance (SPPB, TUG, gait speed), frailty status, and fall incidence. Baseline and post-intervention assessments were conducted over an 8-week period. The hypothesis is that the home-based digital program is as effective as in-person exercise in improving functional outcomes and preventing falls in older adults.

In this clinical trial the performance of monolithic restorations made of indirect lithium disilicate ceramic and direct resin composite materials on severe structurally compromised endodontically treated molar teeth is evaluated. Rationale: It is presumed that indirect restoration of extensively restored endodontically treated molar teeth contributes to durability. However, there is a lack of evidence concerning the performance of both indirect ceramic and direct composite monolithic restorations. Such restorations are commonly named 'endocrowns'. Objective: The objective of the study is to investigate which treatment modality, indirect ceramic or direct composite endocrowns, provide the best restoration of severe structurally compromised endodontically treated molar teeth in terms of clinical performance. Study design: Randomised 5-year clinical trial with endodontically treated molar teeth restored with either indirect glass ceramic (experimental) or direct resin composite endocrowns (control). Study population: A total of 102 severe structurally compromised endodontically treated molar teeth that need to be restored, with a maximum of two restorations per patiënt. Patients are healthy volunteers over 18 years. Intervention: Each patiënt with a restorative indication for endodontically treated first and second molar teeth will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups: indirect glass ceramic endocrown or direct composite endocrown.

The goal of this clinical trial is to test the ability to restore gut microbiota to healthier levels in patients with blood cancers scheduled to have stem cell transplant. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Tolerability and acceptability of intestinal microbiota transplantation (IMT) versus placebo (as assessed via patient perspective questionnaires * Changes in gut microbiome diversity across all timepoints * Markers of general health, infective/microbiological and haematological outcomes including, days of fever, admission to intensive care unit, survival, non-relapsed mortality, and incidence of graft-versus-host disease across all time points measured. Participants will be asked at their routine follow up visits to, * Provide stool, urine and blood samples at the scheduled study visits * Complete questionnaires at selected visits * Swallow either Placebo or IMT capsules once at the second study visit which will occur 2 weeks prior to the stem cell transplant (+/-3 days) Researchers will compare IMT capsules and Placebo to investigate the change in gut microbiota diversity.

This study has 2 parts: dose finding and dose confirmatory. In Part 1, the dose finding phase of the study, there will be 3 or more dosing levels to find out what dose of durvalumab administered as an infusion under the skin acts similarly to durvalumab administered into a vein. 24 participants with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer will be enrolled for a 12 month treatment period and 3 months follow up In Part 2, the dose confirmation phase of the study, participants will receive the dose of durvalumab identified in Part 1 of the study. The goal of Part 2 will be to learn more about the way that the body processes durvalumab when administered as an infusion under the skin. Approximately 90 participants with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer will be enrolled; additionally, up to 10 participants with Small Cell Lung Cancer (who will receive concurrent chemotherapy) will be enrolled for a 12 treatment period and a 3 month follow-up period. AstraZeneca has decided to stop further enrollment and the study was terminated when all patients in Part 1 (Phase I) completed their last study visit. No safety issues or clinical concerns however, have been identified for this study. Part 2 (Phase II) was not initiated.

DM001 is an experimental drug which is not approved by health authorities for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. Participants will have up to 17 visits during the study.There will be up to a 4-week Screening Period followed by a treatment period that will be divided into 3-week cycles/ Participants will have 5 study visits during Cycle 1, 3 visits during Cycles 2 and 3, and 1 visit during subsequent cycles. Participants will have an End of Treatment visit 21 days (+ 7 days) after last dose of study drug and then a follow-up visit 30 days (± 7 days) after the End of Treatment visit.

Robotic assisted surgery has been performed for more than two decades with good success and safety profile. However, there was only one dominating robotic surgical system available in the past which led to high cost for robotic surgery. Recently, a new robotic surgical system (Sentire Robotic Surgical System) was introduced by researchers of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). This new robotic surgical system aims to achieve similar outcomes and standards of robotic surgery performed using the dominating system but with a significantly lower cost. The technologic innovation and development of this new robotic system is made by the Cornerstone Robotics Limited, which is based in Hong Kong. In a pilot clinical study conducted at Prince of Wales Hospital involving 55 patients, the Sentire Robotic Surgical System had demonstrated high success rate with minimal complications in patients who underwent robotic colorectal, upper gastrointestinal, and urologic surgery. Researchers of CUHK would therefore like to conduct another prospective study to further evaluate the efficacy and safety of Sentire Surgical System C1000 in major gastrointestinal and urologic surgery with expanded indications. It is believed that the results of this study will provide data to support its use for wide range of procedures with minimal access trauma, for the benefit of patients. This system will also lead to a wider range of clinical application for minimally invasive surgery with a cost-effective model.

This was a single-center, open phase II clinical study. 34 patients with resectable local middle and advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were treated with anti-PD-1 antibody combined with sequential chemoratherapy regimen: Phase I:Toripalimab (240mg day1, Q3W\*2cycle) + clinical routine chemotherapy regimen selected by the investigator; The second stage: Toripalimab (240mg day1, Q3W\*1cycle) + radiotherapy (intensity modulated radiotherapy, 40Gy/20F, 2Gy/F); Surgery was performed 4-6 weeks after completion, and subsequent treatment options were considered after surgery according to MDT discussion. According to the postoperative pathological results, the pathological complete response (pCR) and major response (MPR) were evaluated. The disease-free survival (DFS), overall survival (OS), 1 or 2 years survival rate and adverse reactions were recorded.
