Lung cancer is one of the malignant tumors with the highest incidence and mortality rates globally, with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) accounting for approximately 15%. SCLC is characterized by high malignancy, propensity for metastasis and drug resistance, and a 5-year survival rate below 7%. Despite partial progress in chemotherapy and immunotherapy, SCLC patients generally have extremely poor prognosis, and there is a lack of precise therapeutic efficacy prediction and dynamic monitoring approaches. Existing biomarkers (such as TP53/RB1 mutations) are inadequate for clinical needs due to high heterogeneity and insufficient dynamic characteristics. The rapid development of multi-omics technologies provides new opportunities for analyzing SCLC molecular features; however, previous studies have predominantly focused on single omics approaches with insufficient systematic integration, limiting clinical translation. This study aims to systematically integrate multiple omics technologies to construct predictive and dynamic monitoring models for SCLC therapeutic efficacy, providing new methods and evidence for SCLC clinical treatment and dynamic monitoring.

What is already known on this subject? AND What does this study add? Sepsis is a complicated condition caused by a malfunction of the host's immune response to infection, which results in an uncontrollable inflammatory response and immunosuppression. Sepsis is seen as a global health problem with significant economic effects .As a result, identifying prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers is critical in order to avoid adverse outcomes and reduce mortality by initiating treatment before irreversible damage occurs. A delay of one hour in sepsis treatment is thought to be associated with a 7-10 percent increase in sepsis-related death . As a result, many efforts have been made to find a viable biomarker for screening sepsis patients who are at a high risk of death. Procalciotnin and platelet/leukocytic count ratio have been studied before but there are few studies comparing them. Multiple studies have elucidated the benefits associated with the precursor molecule of calcitonin, specifically PCT, as a biomarker for sepsis. In recent years, there has been a growing body of research indicating that platelets (PLT) and total leukocytic count are significant contributors to the inflammatory process. Previous research suggests a possible association between platelet/total leukocytic count ratio and sepsis mortality. In this study will compare between the prognostic value of procalcitonin and the platelet/total leukocytic count ratio in sepsis. AIM/ OBJECTIVES The aim of this prospective cross-sectional study was to compare the PCT level and the platelet/total leukocytic count ratio for survival prediction in patients with Sepsis. METHODOLOGY: * Type of Study: Prospective cross-sectional Study * Study Setting: This study was conducted at Ain Shams University intensive care units. * Study Period: Six months after approval of ethical committee of Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University or end of recruited sample size. Sample Size: Assuming an AUC for procalcitonin of 0.977 and that of platelet/total leukocytic count ratio of 0.944, a sample of 100 patients would be enough to detect such difference with 0.11 allowable difference between the 2 AUC, at 0.05 alpha error and 0.80 power of the test . Ethical considerations * The approval of the Scientific Research Ethics Committee at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University was obtained before starting work on the study. * All data were considered confidential and weren't used outside this study without patient approval. * Informed written consent was taken from all patients after explaining the study procedure in details. Data collected and period of the study: Clinical data and laboratory indicators, including gender, age, vital signs, past medical history such as hypertension and diabetes, SOFA score, APACHE II score, PLT, and PCT, were recorded within 24 hours of admission. Sepsis patients were observed and followed up for 28 days. Patient survival and death was recorded. CBC was done every other day and serum procalcitonin was done every 72 hours for 28 days and the results were analysed and compared in correlation with patient's survivability. Data management and analysis All data will be analyzed statistically. All data will be included in the SPSS software version 21. The appropriate statistical method will be used for analysis. Descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation and percentages will be used. Comparison of categorical data will be done using Chi-square test and for continuous data; unpaired "t" test will be used.

Hematological diseases are disorders of the blood and hematopoietic organs. The current hematological cohorts are mostly based on single-center or multi-center cases, or cohorts with limited sample size in China. There is a lack of comprehensive and large-scale prospective cohort studies in hematology. The objectives of this study are to investigate the incidence and risk factors of large granular lymphocytic leukemia (LGLL) and to analyze the treatment effectiveness, patient prognosis, and healthcare costs in China. 1. Analyze the demographic and clinical characteristics of patients with LGLL, including sex, age, disease severity, and other relevant factors. 2. Examine disease features of LGLL patients, such as biochemical and hematological indicators, LGL counts, clonality, bone marrow pathology, and cytogenetics 3. Assess treatment patterns and real-world effectiveness in LGLL patients. 4. Evaluate clinical outcomes, including hematologic response, relapse, and mortality 5. Investigate long-term prognosis, including post-discontinuation outcomes and health-related quality of life.

Patients with relapsed or refractory leukemia often develop resistance to chemotherapy and some patients who relapse following CD19 directed therapy relapse with CD19 negative leukemia. For this reason, the investigators are attempting to use T-cells obtained directly from the patient, which can be genetically modified to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) to CD22, a different protein from CD19, expressed on the surface of the leukemic cell in patients with CD22+ leukemia. The CAR enables the T-cell to recognize and kill the leukemic cell through the recognition of CD22, a protein expressed on the surface of the leukemic cell in patients with CD22+ leukemia. This is a Phase 1 study designed to determine the safety and feasibility of the CAR+ T - cells and the feasibility of making enough to treat patients with CD22+ leukemia.

Neonatal patients with congenital heart defects (CHD) have changing physiology in the context of transitional period. Patients with CHD are at risk of low perfusion status or abnormal pulmonary blood flow. Near infrared spectroscopy has been used in neonatal intensive care units (NICU) to measure end-organ perfusion. The investigator plan on monitoring newborns with CHD admitted to the NICU with NIRS and echocardiography during the first week of life and correlate measures of perfusion from Dopplers to cerebral and renal NIRS.

The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to analyze the effectiveness of a physical exercise program based on exergames combined with conventional physical therapy, compared to a conventional physical exercise program alone, in improving lower limb strength, muscle quality, and physical capacity in older adults at risk of falling. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does a combined exergame and conventional exercise program improve functional capacity in older adults at risk of falling more than traditional exercise alone? Does the intervention improve lower limb strength and muscle quality more effectively than conventional exercise alone? Researchers will compare a group receiving exergame-based exercise combined with conventional therapy to a group receiving conventional physical exercise only to see if the addition of exergames enhances functional outcomes and muscle performance. Participants will: * Undergo baseline and post-intervention assessments of lower limb strength, muscle quality, and physical capacity. * Participate in a structured physical exercise program. * In the intervention group, perform exergame-based exercises using virtual reality gaming systems such as Nintendo Switch (Ring Fit Adventure). * Engage in sessions for several weeks, with consistent frequency and intensity depending on the group allocation.

Acupuncture is commonly used for the prevention of migraine and tension-type headaches, and has been found to be effective in reducing both the frequency and severity of these conditions. However, studies on acupuncture for menstrually related migraine (MRM) are limited, and current research has not been able to determine whether its efficacy is due to the actual therapeutic effects of acupuncture or psychological benefits. To address this issue, the investigators have designed a clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture for MRM.
