NCT03242252
Primary Objective: To demonstrate the superiority of Sotagliflozin 200 milligrams (mg) and Sotagliflozin 400 mg versus placebo on HbA1c reduction at 26 Weeks in participants with Type 2 diabetes who have inadequate glycemic control and moderate renal impairment. Secondary Objectives: * To assess the effects of Sotagliflozin 200 mg and 400 mg versus placebo with respect to additional measures of glycemic control, blood pressure, and body weight. * To evaluate the safety of Sotagliflozin 200 mg and 400 mg versus placebo.
NCT01810939
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of patiromer (investigational drug) in the treatment of hyperkalemia (high serum potassium). The study also evaluated the effect of withdrawing patiromer treatment and assessed whether chronic treatment with patiromer prevented the recurrence of hyperkalemia. The safety of patiromer treatment was also evaluated.
NCT04239391
The main purpose is to determine the safety of Triferic iron administered via dialysate and intravenously in pediatric patients with chronic kidney disease on chronic hemodialysis (CKD-5HD). It is a global, multi- center, open-label study.
NCT03236246
The objectives of this study are to assess the long-term efficacy and safety of different dose regimens of KRX-0502 in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in adult subjects with non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease (CKD).
NCT02509624
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) of selonsertib in participants with impaired hepatic function relative to matched, healthy controls.
NCT00704483
This study will evaluate the efficacy of SBR759 compared to sevelamer HCl in lowering serum phosphate levels in Chronic Kidney Disease patients on hemodialysis
NCT02138838
The primary objective was to evaluate the efficacy of cinacalcet for reducing the plasma intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) level by ≥ 30%.
NCT02187302
This study to evaluate treatment in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) which has progressed through 2 to 3 prior lines of therapy, with the investigational drug CRLX101 in combination with bevacizumab compared to treatment with a standard of care therapy. The study will compare which treatment resulted in longer time before progression of the RCC. Patients will be treated and followed for progression of their disease on average for up to 6 months.
NCT01307267
A study of PF-05082566, a 4-1BB agonist monoclonal antibody (mAb), in patients with solid tumors or b-cell lymphomas, and in combination with rituximab in patients with CD20 positive Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL).
NCT03767803
Whole blood sample procurement study from pregnant women with signs and symptoms of Preeclampsia.
NCT03140722
This is a Phase 2, randomized, open-label study to evaluate vadadustat versus epoetin alfa for the treatment of anemia in subjects with Dialysis-dependent Chronic Kidney Disease (DD-CKD) who are hyporesponsive to erythropoiesis stimulating agents (ESAs.)
NCT02608125
This is a multi-center, open label, non-randomized Phase 1 study, to be conducted in two parts, Part A, and Part B. Part A in solid tumors included the dose escalation phase for evaluating the safety and tolerability profile of PRN1371, a FGFR 1-4 Kinase inhibitor. Part B is the Cohort Expansion phase in patients with metastatic urothelial carcinoma to further evaluate safety and tolerability, preliminary activity, PK, and PD in patients with FGFR genetic alterations.
NCT02223052
This is a Phase 1, open-label, multicenter, randomized, 2-stage crossover study consisting of 2 phases: Stage I - Pharmacokinetics (Bioequivalence), with an Extension Stage II - Pharmacokinetics (Food Effect) with an Extension This study will enroll approximately 60 subjects in stage I and 60 subjects in stage II with hematologic or solid tumor malignancies, excluding gastrointestinal tumors and tumors that have originated or metastasized to the liver for which no standard treatment exists or have progressed or recurred following prior therapy. Subjects must not be eligible for therapy of higher curative potential where an alternative treatment has been shown to prolong survival in an analogous population. Approximately 23 sites in the US and 2 in Canada will participate in this study.
NCT01984242
This multicenter, randomized, open-label study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of atezolizumab as monotherapy or in combination with bevacizumab versus sunitinib in participants with histologically confirmed, inoperable, locally advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma who have not received prior systemic therapy either in the adjuvant or metastatic setting.
NCT01806064
Phase 1b: To evaluate safety and tolerability and determine a recommended phase 2 dose for TRC105 when added to standard dose axitinib in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma. Phase 2: To estimate the PFS of patients with advanced or metastatic RCC by RECIST 1.1 criteria in patients treated with axitinib and TRC105 compared to those treated with axitinib alone, following failure of one prior VEGF TKI
NCT02341664
The purpose of the Patient and Provider Assessment of Lipid Management Registry (PALM) is to gain a better understanding of physicians' cholesterol medication prescribing practices, patient and physician attitudes and beliefs related to cholesterol management, and current utilization of cholesterol-lowering therapies given the new ACC/AHA guideline recommendations. The PALM Registry hopes to allow for the design of ways to improve cholesterol management and decrease the burden of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the US.
NCT01064791
This study will assess the safety and efficacy of different doses of sotrastaurin when combined with tacrolimus for the prevention of acute rejection after de novo renal transplantation.
NCT03049527
The objective of this research project is to investigate specific behaviors and exposures related to sugarcane work and their association with non-communicable diseases, specifically Chronic Kidney Disease of Unknown Origin (CKDu) among sugarcane workers in Guatemala. Over the course of the 6-month sugarcane harvest the investigators will assess risk factors for declining kidney function, and also changes in biomarkers of kidney function pre and post work shift of field and factory workers and their possible relationships with dehydration and heat stress. The investigators will also evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention aimed at increasing hydration and reducing heat stress. Finally the investigators will measure biomarkers of exposure and environmental samples for heavy metals, agrochemicals, and infectious disease (Leptospira).
