NCT03615625
The main purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effect of a power training session on office and 24h ambulatory blood pressure in older adults with hypertension. As secondary outcomes, the investigators compared post-exercise hypotension, BP variability, and endothelial function between older men and women with hypertension. The working hypothesis was that a single bout of power exercise would decrease both office and 24 h BP in comparison to a non-exercising control session and men and women would respond differently after a power training session.
NCT00133679
The purpose of this study is to test if sildenafil is effective in the treatment of infants with severe congenital diaphragmatic hernia (determined by the presence of prolonged pulmonary hypertension or prolonged oxygen supplementation on mechanical ventilation), as measured by the estimated pulmonary artery systolic pressure following treatment.
NCT03649646
The recent hypertension clinical practice guidelines published by American College of Cardiology (ACC) and American Heart Association (AHA) reduced the target BP to 130/80 mmHg, indicating the needs for more aggressive efforts in hypertension treatment. However, studies in Koreans must be preceded before applying such new overseas guidelines; thus, this study has been designed to establish clinical materials reflecting treatment setting in Korea. In this study, patients with uncontrolled hypertension whose antihypertensive regimens are changed to ARB-based therapy (ARB monotherapy or ARB-containing combination therapy) will be followed to assess the treatment trend, treatment effect, and risk of cardiovascular disease.
