NCT02808819
The purpose of this study is to continue to characterize the safety profile of benralizumab administration and monitor the pharmacodynamic activity of the drug in those asthma patients who remain on treatment for at least 16 weeks and not more than 40 weeks in the predecessor study D3250C00021 (BORA, NCT02258542).
NCT04332991

NCT04071158
This phase 2b study will evaluate safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of an RSV vaccine when given together with Tdap in approximately 710 healthy nonpregnant women 18 through 49 years of age. This study will evaluate non-inferiority of RSV vaccine when given with Tdap and vice-versa.
NCT04079829
The study aims to determine how historical cases of respiratory abnormalities are documented by clinicians in the electronic health records (EHR) of Memorial Hermann Healthcare System (MHHS) inpatient facilities. The knowledge gained from this study will support the design of modern data-driven surveillance approach to continuously collect, monitor and timely recognize postoperative respiratory abnormalities using electronic healthcare recorded data.
NCT03170271
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of benralizumab on the rate of asthma exacerbations, patient reported quality of life and lung function during the 24-week treatment in patients with uncontrolled, severe asthma with an eosinophilic phenotype. A subset of patients will be assessed for their ongoing chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps. The study design has been updated to include a 56-week open label ANDHI in Practice (ANDHI IP) sub study upon the completion of the 24-week double-blind period of the ANDHI study.
NCT02452190
The primary objective of this study is to determine the effect of reslizumab (110 mg) administered subcutaneously every 4 weeks on clinical asthma exacerbations in adults and adolescents with asthma and elevated blood eosinophils who are inadequately controlled on standard-of-care asthma therapy.
NCT03528577
To Evaluate the Pharmacodynamic Equivalence of Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Aerosol, eq 90 mcg base (Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Limited) to PROAIR® HFA (albuterol sulfate) Inhalation Aerosol, eq 90 mcg base (Teva Respiratory, LLC) in Subjects With Stable, Mild Asthma
NCT01437735
This study aims to demonstrate a clinically significant improvement in Forced Expiratory Volume in one second (FEV1) in moderate to severe allergic asthmatics inadequately controlled by Inhaled Corticosteroid (ICS) therapy. Patients will be treated with QAW039, an active comparator, or placebo. This will be a randomized, placebo-controlled, dose-ranging, multi-centre trial.
NCT02437604
Each patient will participate in the study for approximately 7 weeks. Participation will include a screening period of up to 21 days and 4 treatment periods; each consisting of a 3-day/2-night inpatient period.
NCT02452476
A multicenter, double blind, randomized, single dose, active-controlled study to investigate the efficacy and safety of synthetic surfactant (CHF 5633) in comparison to porcine surfactant (Poractant alfa, Curosurf ®) in the treatment of preterm neonates with respiratory distress syndrome. Main objectives of this study are to investigate the short term efficacy profile of CHF 5633 vs. porcine surfactant (Poractant Alfa, Curosurf®) in terms of reduced oxygen requirement and ventilatory support and to evaluate the mid-term efficacy profile in terms of reduced incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and mortality/BPD rate at 36 weeks post menstrual age (PMA), mortality rate at 28 days and 36 weeks PMA, RDS-associated mortality through 14 days of age and other major co-morbidities of prematurity. Inclusion criteria are: Written parental informed consent, inborn preterm neonates of either sex with a gestational age of 24+0 weeks up to 29+6 weeks, clinical course consistent with RDS, requirement of endotracheal surfactant administration within 24 hours from birth, fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO2) ≥0.30 for babies 24+0 to 26+6 weeks and FiO2 ≥0.35 for babies 27+0 to 29+6 weeks to maintain arterial oxygen saturation by pulse oximetry (SpO2) between 88-95%.
NCT03281876
The purpose of this study is to test if the vaccine is working well in COPD patients aged 40 to 80 years old to reduce episodes of worsening symptoms ("exacerbations") and to gather further information on safety and immune response. In the current study, COPD patients with a history of acute exacerbations will receive 2 doses of the investigational vaccine or placebo intramuscularly according to a 0, 2 month vaccination schedule, in addition to standard care. The effect of vaccination against two pathogens known to cause exacerbations (Non-typeable Haemophilus influenza \[NTHi\] and Moraxella catarrhalis \[Mcat\]) will be evaluated at pre-defined timepoints (scheduled study visits). In addition to the scheduled study visits, additional study visit(s) and/ or phone contact(s) will take place for each acute exacerbation of COPD occurring from first vaccination up to study conclusion.
NCT04433546
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel group study to investigate the efficacy of pemziviptadil (PB1046) by improving the clinical outcomes in hospitalized COVID-19 patients at high risk for rapid clinical deterioration, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and death. The study will enroll approximately 210 hospitalized COVID-19 patients who require urgent decision-making and treatment at approximately 20 centers in the United States.
NCT03944707
This was a proof-of-concept study to evaluate the efficacy of LOU064 in patients with inadequately controlled asthma. All subjects were randomized with 3:2 ratio to receive LOU064 100 mg once daily or LOU064 matching placebo for 12 weeks with standard background therapy of budesonide 80 µg/formoterol 4.5 µg two inhalations twice a day (b.i.d).
NCT03299686
An unmet medical need exists for patients with moderate and severe asthma who continue to demonstrate symptoms despite being on standard of care medications, and are not eligible for other biologic therapies developed or in development for T2-high(allergic/eosinophilic) asthma. The purpose of this study was to determine if CJM112, an anti-IL-17A antibody, displayed the clinical efficacy and safety profile to support further development in patients with inadequately controlled moderate to severe asthma with low IgE and low circulating eosinophil levels.
NCT01130064
The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy of 24 weeks intravenous treatment with QAX576 in patients with persistent asthma not adequately controlled with inhaled corticosteroids and long acting beta2-agonists.
