Black Americans in the US fare worse across nearly every health indicator compared to White individuals. In Philadelphia, the location of this study, these health disparities culminate in a stark longevity gap, with average life expectancies in poor, predominantly Black neighborhoods being 20 years lower than in nearby affluent, predominantly White neighborhoods. The investigators will conduct a cluster randomized controlled trial (RCT) of a suite of place-based and financial-wellbeing interventions at the community, organization, and individual/household levels that address the social determinants of racial health disparities. At the community level, the investigators address underinvestment in Black neighborhoods by implementing vacant lot greening, abandoned house remediation, tree planting, and trash cleanup. At the organization level, the investigators partner with community-based financial empowerment providers to develop cross-organizational infrastructure to increase reach and maximize efficiency. At the individual/household levels, the investigators increase access to public benefits, financial counseling and tax preparation services, and emergency cash assistance. The investigators will test this "big push" intervention in 60 Black neighborhood microclusters, with a total of 720 adults. The investigators hypothesize that this "big push" intervention will have significant impact on overall health and wellbeing.

The primary goal is to understand the potential impacts of Guaranteed Income (GI) on Black youth and young adults' financial, emotional, and physical well-being. The main question it aims to answer is: What are the impacts of GI on Black young adults' investments in their future, mental health and unmet mental and sexual/reproductive health service needs? Participants will receive guaranteed income for 12 months and will be offered enrollment in financial capability programs.

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of mindfulness-based art therapy on the difficulties in emotional regulation, burnout, and psychological resilience levels of nurses working in the earthquake-affected region. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does MBAT reduce the burnout levels of nurses working in the earthquake-affected region? Does MBAT reduce the emotional regulation difficulties of nurses working in the earthquake-affected region? Does MBAT increase the psychological resilience levels of nurses working in the earthquake-affected region? Researchers plan to compare the intervention group where MBAT is applied and the control group where no intervention is applied to see the effects of MBAT on nurses. Participants : The intervention group will receive MBAT once a week for 5 weeks. The control group will receive MBAT again after the application is completed, if they are willing. Follow-up tests will be administered before the intervention, after it is completed, and at the 3rd and 6th months."\*\*

Children with, or at elevated risk for, brain-based developmental disabilities can experience lifelong consequences and challenges throughout their development. In particular, preschool years (3-6 years of age) can be stressful as families wait to get services and care for their child. Nationally and internationally, service delivery models during this critical period are not standardized, and differ within and across provinces and across patient conditions, leading to long wait times, service gaps and duplications. This study has two main hypotheses: 1. A standardized approach to "coaching" (i.e. coach + online education tools + peer support network) is feasible in the real-life context, and acceptable to caregivers and can be delivered across multiple sites in urban/suburban/rural settings. 2. A standardized approach to "coaching" enhances parental health (parents' empowerment and sense of competence, quality of life, and minimizes parenting stress), family health care experience (care coordination experience and process of care) at similar health care cost (economic analysis), when compared to usual and locally available care.

"SKILLZ," is a mixed methods evaluation of the Grassroots Soccer (GRS) SKILLZ Package based in Lusaka, Zambia. The package is made up of three football-based programs: (1) SKILLZ-Girl - implemented in schools as part of a 10-week program culminating in a tournament event; (2) SKILLZ-Club - implemented as an ongoing extra-curricular activity after the completion of SKILLZ-Girl; (3) SKILLZ-Plus - a clinic based football group targeted at girls that are HIV-positive. The programs work together to build a continued support system which encourages uptake of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV services, while facilitating ART adherence (for HV-positive participants) and continued engagement with health services over the long-term (whether to contraceptive methods, HIV prevention services, HIV repeat testing, and/or HIV treatment and care). The study team has developed an enhanced SKILLZ-Girl offering, which will include a comprehensive module on HIVST, contraceptives and PrEP, access to a nurse during the implementation of sessions and the additional offering of HIVST and contraceptive services at the event along with ongoing engagement through the SKILLZ-Club program (Enhanced Arm) , The central hypothesis is that this enhanced curriculum will increase HIV testing and contraceptive uptake compared to the standard SKILLZ curriculum \& standard event (SOC Arm). The investigators further hypothesize that the intervention in the enhanced arm will positively and directly affect a number of mediating factors including attendance at soccer events where community-based SRH services are offered, SRH knowledge, empowerment, self-confidence, and perceptions of gender balance, and (reduced) stigma. For girls found to be HIV-positive, the follow-on SKILLZ intervention (SKILLZ-Plus) has been designed to facilitate linkage to HIV care and treatment, reduce HIV-related stigma, increase disclosure to family and partners, increase feelings of social support, empowerment, self-efficacy, and ultimately adherence to ARVs, viral load suppression (VLS) and retention in HIV care and treatment. This study will be conducted in up to 32 secondary schools that GRS currently serves in the Lusaka Urban District.

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the COVID pandemic has affected participants' current physical activity, fitness, blood pressure, sleep, and mental stress to better understand its long-term health effects. To complete this study, participants will visit the Neurovascular Physiology Laboratory (NVPL) at the Indiana University School of Public Health Bloomington two times, requiring a total commitment of about 6 hours. Visit 1 involves completing screening questionnaires, a consent document, and additional questionnaires about participant health behaviors (e.g., sleep and physical activity) and general mental and physical health. After the visit, participants will also start tracking their sleep and physical activity using wearable devices for 14 days, diet for at least 3 days, and blood pressure and urine for 24 hours. Visit 2 is a second data collection visit, where participants will return the wearable devices. The investigators will measure participants' body composition, take measures of their cardiovascular health, and participants will complete a fitness test on a stationary cycle (exercise bike). The investigators will collect a 24 hour urine sample and take a blood sample to measure participants' blood glucose, electrolytes, hydration biomarkers, and markers of inflammation, as well as to study immune cells. The investigators will take participants' blood pressure at rest and during a hand-in-cold water test, which helps assess how participants' nervous system responds to stress. A full-body scan will measure participant body composition including bone density, muscle mass, and body fat percentage. Finally, participants will complete a cycling test that gradually increases in intensity to measure cardiovascular fitness. Risks involve potential pain or bruising from blood draws, discomfort from blood pressure cuffs, stress from vigorous cycling, and psychological stress from questionnaires. There's also a slight risk of severe cardiovascular events occurring during exercise and loss of data confidentiality. Finally, the cold water test may result in a rare but noted situation where the body's nervous system overreacts to the cold stimulus, leading to a drop in blood pressure and heart rate. Participants will be monitored by trained staff during all procedures to ensure safety.

The purpose of this pilot study is to evaluate the acceptability of an artificial intelligence powered mental health support tool for mental health wellness amongst physicians in training. The primary research procedures are: The primary research procedure will be the utilization of artificial intelligence powered mental health support session through a web browser for physicians in training to address symptoms related to depression and anxiety. A pre and post intervention survey, evaluating depression symptoms with the standardized PHQ-9 questionnaire and anxiety symptoms with the standardized GAD-7 questionnaire will be conducted to assess changes in mental health wellness. The study will enroll physicians in training, including Internal Medicine residents and Gastroenterology fellows. The study includes at least 4 sessions. The total study duration for each subject is 3 months.

This randomized controlled trial will test an intervention called the Mastery Lifestyle Intervention (the MLI) that was developed from data of 1000+pregnant Hispanic women related to risks of preterm birth. The investigators will deliver a psychoeducational intervention that is manualized over 6 group sessions. The investigators will also have a usual care group that receives standard prenatal care. The investigators plan to enroll 238 pregnant women and start the study with them at 14-20 weeks gestation. The investigators will also test the biological response of the intervention by measuring Corticotropin Releasing Hormone, progesterone, estriol, and test for cotinine. The investigators will also determine any effect on infant outcomes at delivery.

Native American youth have higher rates of depression and lifetime major depressive episodes, and, by age 11, are more likely to have initiated alcohol and substance use than any other racial/ethnic group. The COVID19 pandemic only compounded this suffering--anxiety, stress, depression, substance use, and suicide related mental health disorders skyrocketed in many Native American communities, especially among youth. Though many are desperate for help, treatment options are scarce to non-existent. To meet this urgent need, our overarching objective is to leverage the empirically proven, highly effective, school based, Talking Circle intervention to promote the mental, emotional, and behavioral (MEB) health of geographically diverse (rural, urban) Native American youth. This study, "Talking Circle for Native American Youth Living Well (A Yo Li)" uses a Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach to evaluate Talking Circle effectiveness, partnering with the United Keetoowah Band (UKB) of Cherokee Indians Tribe in Oklahoma, with members living in two geographically diverse areas, Adair County (rural), and Tulsa City (urban). "A Yo Li" in the UKB tribal language means "youth".

Critical narrative interventions (CNIs) have not been examined for addressing psychological outcomes (e.g., depression, anxiety, self-esteem, empowerment, psychological well-being) within sexual and gender minority emerging adults (SGM EA) of color; therefore, this pilot study will examine the use of CNIs to impact SGM of color psychological outcomes. Prior literature has shown that CNIs have the potential to increase empowerment, self-efficacy, and social support as a prevention strategy for mental health. The research study is being conducted to see if telling your story through photographs or video can improve the mental health and well-being of emerging adults that identify as a member of a sexual and/or gender minority and a racial and/or ethnic minority. Participants will be asked to complete the following research procedures: 1. take a survey online (about 20-30 minutes), then an interview about everyday experiences as sexual/gender minority of color and your experiences in seeking out mental health services. 2. After the interview, participants will have one month to tell their story, answering two prompts "Tell us a time you have felt seen" and "Tell us a time when you have felt unseen." You will be randomized to one of two formats of telling your story: taking photographs or making two short videos. 1. Photographs: Those that are randomized to the photograph condition will be asked to take 12 photos total telling your story and answering the prompt. 2. Videos: Those that are randomized to the video condition will be asked to create two (1-3 minute) videos telling your story and answering the prompts. 3. At the one-month time frame, participants will be asked to fill out another survey (about 20-30 minutes) and then complete an interview about the photos or videos created.

The purpose of this study is to identify factors (sleep, psychiatric characteristics, stressful life events, and work environment characteristics) that potentiate or mitigate adverse effects of real-world stressors that predispose nurses to suicidal risk. The specific aims are: Aim 1. To investigate associations between sleep, stressful life events (life stressors, discrimination, lateral violence), psychiatric characteristics (psychiatric diagnosis, subjective mood), work environment characteristics (workload, shift type and duration, overtime, nurse work environment, and team relations) and stress (self-report and heart rate variability) in working nursing professionals while controlling for standard covariates known to influence stress. Aim 2. To determine if stress exposure (self-report and HRV) is associated with predisposing factors (sleep, stressful life events, additional psychiatric characteristics, and work environment characteristics), and to explore whether stress mediates the effect of predisposing factors on suicidal ideation in working nursing professionals. Exploratory Aim. To explore the preliminary impact of an existing sleep intervention (sleep health promotion kit) on self-reported stress, HRV, sleep, and psychiatric health outcomes including depression, burnout, and suicidal ideation. This record will focus on the Exploratory Aim.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of an internet- assisted Career-Oriented Work-Related Soft-skills Training (iCareer) intervention, infused with cognitive behavioral therapy, targeting individuals ages 16-24 with mental health conditions, to improve employment outcomes. The overall objective is to help transition-age youth (TAY) with psychiatric disabilities achieve optimal employment outcomes as part of successful transition to adulthood. Findings will have implications for enhancing and developing pre-employment services for TAY with psychiatric disabilities.
