In the literature, assessment questionnaires related to dyspnea measure beliefs about breathing-related symptoms but do not directly measure breath awareness. For this purpose, the Breath Vigilance Questionnaire (BVQ) is a subjective questionnaire developed from the Pain Awareness Questionnaire that directly measures breath-specific awareness and includes questions evaluating the interaction between conscious monitoring and control of breathing and anxiety. The questionnaire, consisting of 6 questions, was developed on healthy individuals and its validity and reliability were established. It uses a 5-point Likert scale from 1 (never) to 5 (always), with scores ranging from 6 to 30, and higher scores indicate higher breath awareness . The reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Breath Vigilance Questionnaire will assist researchers in assessing dysfunctional breathing and developing treatment strategies by evaluating breath awareness. Therefore, the study aimed to investigate the validity and reliability of the Turkish version.

The purpose of the study is to learn how itraconazole changes how the body processes the study medicine called PF-07248144. The study will also look at the safety, tolerability, and how PF-07248144 is changed and removed from the body after taking PF-07248144 alone compared to when it is taken with itraconazole. Itraconazole can change how your body processes some medications so it may change the body's processing of PF-07248144. Multiple blood samples will be collected after each dose of PF-07248144 to determine how much PF-07248144 is in the blood at different times. This will help characterize the pharmacokinetics (pharmacokinetics helps us understand how the drug is changed and eliminated from your body after you take it) of PF-07248144 alone and when taken with itraconazole.

This study is the first-in-human (FIH) study of BGB-45035. The study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of BGB-45035 with both a single dose and multiple doses administered at different dose levels in healthy participants, followed by a Part E to evaluate the safety and tolerability of BGB-45035 in adults with autoimmune dermatological diseases like atopic dermatitis (AD) and prurigo nodularis (PN). An additional biomarker cohort will be evaluated in Part F. Study details include: * The study duration will be up to 24 months. * The treatment duration will be up to 14 days for Parts A-D, up to 12 weeks for Part E, and up to 3 weeks for Part F. * Safety follow-up 30 days after last dose of study drug.

Introduction: There is evidence showing that wearing minimalist footwear offers multiple short-term advantages for the musculoskeletal system, both locally and regionally, compared to traditional footwear. However, little research has been done on the medium- and long-term effects of wearing minimalist footwear. So, the aim of the study is to assess the long-term effects of wearing minimalist footwear on various variables measured in healthy subjects. Materials and methods: A randomized, single-blind, controlled clinical trial is conducted. A sample of 80 healthy adults is randomly divided into an experimental group (wearing minimalist footwear) and a control group (wearing traditional footwear). The study variables are measured before and after the intervention. The outcomes are morphology and function of the intrinsic foot muscles (IFMs), study of plantar pressures under load, static and dynamic stability, thickness and compressibility of the heel fat pad, frontal plane alignment of the metatarsophalangeal joint of the hallux, and plantar skin sensitivity. Applicability of the expected results: If positive changes are found in the experimental group, it is proposed that educational talks or other types of actions be organized to promote the use of this type of footwear.

This is a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled dose escalating first in human study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD) of GSM-779690T. The study will have two parts: a single ascending dose (SAD) component and a multiple ascending dose (MAD) component. The goal of this study is to learn if GSM-779690T is safe and to assess the effects on levels of specific Aβ peptide isoforms in adults. SAD: A total of 48 healthy volunteers are planned to be consented and enrolled to receive a single oral dose of GSM-779690T at increasing strengths or placebo in Cohorts 1 through 6. MAD: A total of 48 healthy volunteers are planned to be consented and enrolled to receive multiple oral doses of GSM-779690T (doses will be informed by SAD data) in Cohorts 7 through 10. Cohort 10 will include healthy older-adults. Participants who have signed an informed consent and meet screening eligibility requirements will be randomly assigned to receive a single oral dose of GSM-779690T or placebo with a 3:1 (active: placebo) ratio at each dose level. The decision to escalate between dose levels in the SAD and to proceed to the MAD will be based on Data Review Committee review of prior cohorts, safety, tolerability, and PK data. The study treatment, GSM-779690T, and all protocol assessments will be administered at the study site by trained study site personnel.
