The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the monitoring using a sensor in patients who have undergone forefoot surgery, during the first 7 post-operative days. The monitoring tool has a Global Positioning System (GPS) beacon, a 3-axis accelerometer and a temperature sensor, as well as an "emergency call" button. The main objective it aims to answer are: * to evaluate the feasibility of post-operative monitoring using this tool * to evaluate the reliability of the tool The investigators hope to determine if using this tool can be able to provide patients a "connected" personalized real-time monitoring for follow-up.

The purpose of this randomized controlled trial is to assess the effect of DN at either the site of the identified myofascial trigger point/s (MTrP) of in the same muscle, but away from the MTrP site/s in individuals with ankle and/or hindfoot injury. Assessments will be of self-reported outcomes, self-reported pain, gait, balance, muscle stiffness, and pain pressure threshold. The secondary purpose of this study is to determine the validity of dry needling specific muscles of the lower extremity based upon needle placement, location relative to anatomical structures and accuracy of needle placement in muscle using ultrasound imaging.

Offloading Ankle Foot Orthoses (AFOs) are devices designed for people following lower-limb reconstruction to restore mobility by reducing mechanical loading through the injury site and redistributing it proximally. While they perform well for some users, their current form limits full functional potential and may put joints proximal to the injury at risk of long-term damage. This study is directed toward designing and testing a lightweight, variable stiffness, dynamic brace that can adjust in response to user activity.

Plantar fasciitis (PF) is a common cause of heel pain. Among the several conservative treatment options, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) is considered the standard treatment. Recent studies suggest that PF may be sustained by a myofascial impairment proximal to the pain area with a biomechanical disequilibrium of the entire lower limb and pelvis. Therefore, by combining the concepts of Fascial Manipulation and ESWT, the purpose of this open label randomized controlled clinical trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of the ESWT on myofascial trigger points of lower limb in a sample of subjects with PF. Patients with PF were randomly assigned to an Experimental treatment Group (EG), treated with focused ESWT on myofascial points, and a Control Group (CG), treated with the focused ESWT traditional approach on the medial calcaneal tubercle. Outcome measures included the Foot and Ankle Outcome Score (FAOS) and the Italian Foot Functional Index (17-iFFI). The assessment was made before the first session(baseline-T1), immediately before the second session (T2), immediately before the third session (T3), at 1month (T4) and 4 months' follow-up (T5). Thirty patients who satisfied inclusion and exclusion criteria were enrolled.
