The objective of this prospective, randomized controlled study was to evaluate the effectiveness of this NCH gel in the prevention of IUA development as assessed by hysteroscopy after USG-MVA, in the treatment for first-trimester miscarriage. * To study the severity and extent of the IUA as assessed by the AFS and ESGE adhesion score in both groups of patients. * To examine the rate of complications or side effects with the NCH gel. * To assess the subsequent menstrual history and reproductive outcome in both groups of patients.

This study, a double blinded randomized controlled trial, is being done to compare side effects of commonly used antibiotic regimens prior to same day abortion procedures. In total, 180 pregnant women in their first trimester of pregnancy (5 0/6-13 6/7 weeks gestation) will be randomized to receive one of the three commonly used antibiotics (azithromycin, doxycycline, metronidazole) for same day abortion procedures or placebo prior to their abortion procedure. Approximately, 30-60 mins after study drug administration, the procedure will be performed. A sub-study will be completed on 40 women who consent to endometrial sampling and to have their blood drawn.

A surgical abortion under local anesthesia is potentially painful. A protocol using analgetic is systematically used. Also the protocol is relevant , the question of taking care of the pain in a safe manner remains. The use of Music during surgery can have a real effect on pain and anxiety. This study has for goal to evalued the use of music on pain as adjuvant treatement instead of a standard care for an abortion.

Virtual reality (VR) has been used in health care settings to decrease anxiety and pain. This project is a feasibility study to evaluate whether virtual reality can be used in the setting of a first trimester pregnancy termination by D\&C and whether the use of virtual reality (VR) headsets can help decrease anxiety for patients during this procedure.

The study group included 910 women who attended Fayoum university hospital gynecology outpatient clinic for postabortive evaluation. The control group included 940 women attended outpatient clinic for any other procedure or complaint
