Surgical coaching involves the development of a partnership between two surgeons in which one surgeon (coach) guides the other (coachee) in identifying goals, providing feedback and facilitating action planning. Surgical coaching provides an effective means of acquiring new technical and non-technical skills. In this study, the investigators aim to perform a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the impact of a video-based surgical coaching intervention on laparoscopic closure of the vaginal cuff among Obstetrics and Gynecology residents. Obstetrics and Gynecology resident participants will be randomly assigned to the control or intervention groups. Participants will have access to an instructional video related to laparoscopic vaginal cuff suturing and the validated laparoscopic vaginal cuff trainer to practice laparoscopic suturing as desired. The intervention group will receive the same resources as the control group and will also undergo three video-based coaching sessions focused on laparoscopic suturing on the validated laparoscopic vaginal cuff trainer. Our main outcome will consist of participants' change in technical skills of laparoscopic suturing the vaginal cuff, measured by the change in Global Operative Assessment of Laparoscopic Skills Plus score (Vassiliou 2005) from baseline to study completion. Secondary outcomes will include participants' self-reported surgical confidence, operative enjoyment, and plans to incorporate surgery into their career.

Background: FONA (front of neck access) is a surgical airway management technique used in emergency situations, primarily as the "last option" when less invasive airway management methods have failed. The need for FONA is extremely rare, which makes regular training in this skill all the more important. Study Objective: The objective of this study is to test "skill retention" three to four months after training on different cricothyrotomy models. The goal is to demonstrate that there is no intolerable difference in skill retention, regardless of whether FONA training is conducted on a commercially available cricothyrotomy model or on a self-made model. Population: The study population consists of 42 participants who are randomly assigned to two groups. Study Design: All participants begin with the same theoretical input. Following this, they complete training on their assigned practice model before undergoing an initial evaluation. Three to four months after the first evaluation, a reevaluation takes place, this time without any prior training. Parameters: The primary outcome parameter of the study is the score achieved on the checklist. Secondary outcome parameters include the time from the start of the procedure to the first successful ventilation and subjective assessment using a Likert scale questionnaire. Possible associations between checklist results and factors such as year of training, prior experience, clinical experience, and individual items on the subjective assessment questionnaire will be presented graphically in an exploratory manner and quantified using appropriate correlation coefficients. Hypothesis: The study aims to show that there is no intolerable difference in skill retention, regardless of whether FONA training takes place on a commercially available cricothyrotomy model or on a self-made model. This would open up the possibility of using cost-effective and readily accessible practice models for effective skill training.

Ultrasound guidance plays a pivotal role in caudal epidural block in pediatric patients. In comparison to conventional single-plane ultrasound, biplane ultrasound offers the advantage of providing simultaneous transverse and longitudinal imaging. Better visualization under biplane ultrasound is postulated to enhance the efficacy of caudal epidural blocks. This improvement is expected to manifest through higher first puncture success rate, shorter procedure time, and longer time to first postoperative analgesics use.

One of the behavioral intervention programs used to adapt to the changes experienced during pregnancy, birth and postpartum and to maintain a healthy transition to parenthood is Conscious Awareness-Based Practices Conscious awareness is an experiential process in which attention is directed purposefully and consciously to what is happening in the body and mind at that moment, and the content that emerges as a result of these observations is accepted with curiosity, understanding and compassion, without being judged, analyzed, or reacted . Due to their stated effects, these interventions help parents improve their awareness and acceptance of thoughts, feelings, and body sensations, reduce reactivity, avoid disturbing experiences, accept the roles and responsibilities of parenting in a non-judgmental manner, learn to use mechanisms to cope with the stress of parenting, and help themselves and the child. It is important to enable people to show compassion . Awareness-based training can be integrated into birth preparation training as it is a method that can be used to improve birth parameters. Awareness-Based Parenting and Birth Preparation Training applied during the transition to parenthood is important as it will increase the quality of pregnancy, birth and postpartum care, as it will increase competence and adaptation to parenting roles, facilitate the birth process, and ensure maternal and paternal attachment. For all these reasons, this research was planned to investigate the effects of Awareness-Based Parenting and Birth Preparation Training given to couples on maternal-paternal attachment, birth parameters and postpartum adaptation. It is thought that the training that parents receive to be aware of their own body and birth process will make a positive contribution to pregnancy, birth and the postpartum process.

This prospective randomised clinical trial aims to test if virtual reality (VR) simulation helps acquire basic surgical skills in total hip arthroplasty (THA) by medical students. The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: 1. Can VR simulation develop the medical students' basic surgical skills and medical knowledge in THA? 2. Will VR simulation become a part of orthopaedic surgical education? Participants will be randomised into two groups (VR and control). 1. They will be asked to watch a very detailed video explaining basic rules and skills in implanting the acetabular cup and femoral stem in THA 2. The VR group will perform at least three VR THA sessions concerning cup (inclination) and stem (version) implantation 3. Then all participants will be asked to implant a cup and a stem in a predefined inclination and version, respectively, in sawbones 4. The mean difference between the predefined and the actual implanted cup inclination and version of the stem will be compared between groups

This is an international, collaborative study evaluating the non-technical skills (NTS) of anesthesiology residents. The goal is to explore the capability of performing a remote, international AR simulation for the purpose of assessing NTS during a neonatal medical crisis. Simulation experts in the United States will facilitate the AR simulations with anesthesiology residents in Chile. The medical simulation itself is grounded in traditional best practices in accordance with the American Heart Association and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

The current pandemic has revealed in-person simulation training and evaluation is vulnerable to disruption, and alternatives are needed which allow remote evaluation. The recently developed Microsoft Hololens headset device allows interactable holograms to be inserted into a user's workspace (mixed reality) - permitting the augmentation of existing clinical and training spaces with holographic (i.e. virtual) patients via the prototype HoloSIM software. This study is the first known research initiative aiming to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of mixed reality for acute medicine training and assessment at a distance. Space, time, personnel, pandemic, and cost constraints limit opportunities for high-fidelity simulation exercises for post-graduate trainees at Sunnybrook. By developing and demonstrating the effectiveness of this new training modality, increased simulation exercises will lead to a higher quality education experience, better functioning teams, and better patient outcomes.

Singapore's fertility rate is currently below 1.2, raising concerns about population ageing and long-term sustainability. The fertility decline is characterized by falling birth rates among women in their 20s with almost no recuperation among women in their 30s. This project explores a) whether informational imperfections help to account for high intended ages at childbearing in Singapore, b) whether informational interventions significantly affect ideal and expected ages at marriage and childbearing, and expected probability of undergoing social egg freezing, and c) whether informational interventions significantly affect expected and actual educational outcomes and labor market outcomes. Our hypotheses are: 1. University students have knowledge gaps about age-related onset of infertility, assisted reproductive technologies and local policy initiatives related to age at marriage and childbearing, especially among male students. 2. Being exposed to accurate information in these domains leads to significantly lower ideal/expected ages at marriage and childbearing, and higher expected probability of undergoing social egg freezing, immediately after the intervention. 3. Being exposed to accurate information in these domains does not lead to lower educational and labor market expectations immediately after the intervention among either male or female students, or to significant differences in module choices, Cumulative Average Point (CAP), starting salary and employment status of university students in the following academic semester and six months after graduation, among either male or female students.

This research aims to evaluate the effect of Touchpoint experience as a clinical learning method on clinical learning. The research is a quasi-experimental research with experimental-control groups. Students will be divided into experimental and control groups with the "simple randomization" method. A pre-test will be taken with data collection tools before the study for both groups. Students in the control group will continue their routine practice experiences. A post-test will be applied with data collection tools at the end of the 8-week internship period. TouchPoint is planned as a 2-session experience over a semester: Session 1 focuses on patient-centered care, Session 2 focuses on teamwork and collaboration. The method of both sessions will be conducted by 2 researchers with a small clinical group of 8 to 10 students. Sessions will last from 1.5 hours to 2 hours depending on the number of students and the degree of discussion. Sessions will be conducted face-to-face in a classroom.

The goal of this prospective study is to investigate the satisfaction, NASA-Task Load Index (TLX), and surgical proficiency of a robotic breast surgery education program using cadaver or porcine models, as well as to develop an AI-based surgical guide for utilization within the educational program in trainees for robotic breast surgery. The main question\[s\]it aims to evaluate : * Satisfaction questionnaire of a educational program * NASA-TLX of a educational program * global evaluative assessment of robotic skills (GEARS) of a robotic breast surgery for surgical proficiency Participants will participate the educational program and fill out a satisfaction questionnaire and NASA-TLX. The tutor evaluates GEARS for 15 minutes at the beginning and end of training. After the development of the surgical guide based on AI, researchers will compare a training group with or without surgical guide to see the effect of the surgical guide.

This study was planned to determine nursing students' attitudes towards artificial intelligence and test anxiety levels after using ChatGPT and Google Bard in their education. The study will be carried out in accordance with the research feature of quasi-experimental, pretest-posttest, with 3rd and 4th year nursing students studying at Sinop University Faculty of Health Sciences in the 2023-2024 fall academic year. The research groups are named as follows; Experimental Group: The group that will receive ChatGPT and Google Bard training, Control Group: The group that will not receive ChatGPT and Google Bard training, in other words, the 3rd year students of the nursing department will be referred to as the control group, and the 4th year students will be the experimental group. Educational content; ChatGPT and Google Bard training for senior students of the Faculty of Health Sciences who volunteered to participate in the study was provided by Dr. Lecturer It will be given by member Yasemin Özyer Güvener. After the training is completed, students will be asked to use generative artificial intelligence for educational purposes. During the posttest implementation of the study (one week before the final exams), data collection tools will be applied again to students who continue to volunteer to participate in the research. What is the relationship between VR training programs and students' communication skills development? 3. What is the relationship between VR training programs and students' satisfaction/self-confidence in learning? 4. What is the relationship between the sense of presence and satisfaction/ self-confidence in learning? 5. How does the student's learning experience after VR training programs? Participants will attend the Virtual Reality training program. Researchers will compare the use of high-fidelity simulation to see if the non-technical skills were developed.

This study was planned to evaluate the effect of simulation teaching method on the knowledge and skills of midwifery students in applying vaginal examination in labor.The study was planned as a randomized controlled trial.Research Tokat It will be held between 10.10.2022 and 10.06.2023 at Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Health Sciences, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Health Research and Application Hospital and Tokat Provincial Health Directorate Tokat State Hospital.The population of the research will consist of students (N=102) who are students of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Health Sciences Faculty Midwifery Department, who took the Normal Birth and Postpartum Period course for the first time in the 2022-2023 academic year, and who have not had a vaginal examination before. The sample of the randomized controlled study was calculated in the G\*Power 3.1 program . Accordingly, the number of samples to be included in the study for an error margin of 0.05 with a statistical power of 80% was calculated as n= 51 for the experimental group and n= 51 for the control group for each group.The Effect of Simulation Teaching Method on Midwifery Students' Knowledge and Skills of Applying Vaginal Examination in Labor: The Randomized Controlled Study Questionnaire consists of four parts.Randomly determined experimental group students will perform eight vaginal examination scenarios different in terms of cervical effacement, cervical dilatation, presence of amniotic membrane, presenting fetus part, position of the fetus and fetal descent on the fetal monitoring and labor progress model set in the laboratory. The control group will not receive any simulation training.
