NCT07058883
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Juläine, an injectable medical device made of polylactic acid, for treating facial acne scars. Participants with atrophic acne scars will be randomly assigned to receive either Juläine or a placebo (saline). The treatment will consist of three injection sessions over two months, followed by a 12-month observation period. The study will measure changes in scar severity and skin quality over time using clinical assessments and imaging tools. The study is being conducted at multiple dermatology clinics in Poland and is approved by a local ethics committee.
NCT07368764
This is an open-label, single-center, split-face, pseudo-randomized clinical trial designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a human-derived, cell-free adipose tissue derivative (Tience® ), for treating moderate to severe acne scars. Participants will receive three treatment sessions over a three-month period: on Day 0, Day 30, and Day 90. Treatment will be administered via injections to acne-scarred areas on one side of the face. The untreated side will be treated after the follow-up period. Outcomes will be evaluated over a twelve-month period using investigator clinical assessments, patient self-evaluation and VISIA skin analysis system to monitor changes in scar severity and overall skin quality.
NCT07151599
The purpose of this study is to compare two treatments for acne scars on the face. The study will test whether fractional lasers (Erbium:Glass and Thulium) lead to better improvement in acne scars than microneedling.
NCT05597267
This study is being conducted to evaluate the performance and efficacy of the AVAVA MIRIA Laser Skin System treatment on acne scars. Participants will be treated with the MIRIA laser at least 4 times with each treatment spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The improvement of acne scars will be evaluated at 1 month and 3 months with a possibility of 6 months evaluation after the fourth treatment.
NCT04559022
This single-center, clinical trial consists of a one autologous fat grafting treatment followed by 3-month and 6-month post-treatment visits in order to assess the efficacy of fat grafting when used by men and women with facial acne scars.
NCT05987319
The goal of the Potenza device used in this study is to collect clinical data for dermatologic conditions in which electrocoagulation and hemostasis is a viable mechanism for means of improvement.
NCT06151041
To evaluate the efficacy of Microneedling combined with Tranxemic acid compared with Micronedlling with PRP in treatment of Pigmented Post Acne Scars.
NCT05358860
Open-label, non-randomized, prospective, multi-center, self-controlled clinical study with masked evaluation.
NCT06102343
The ClearSkin module, Er: Glass 1540nm, is largely used in the treatment of acne vulgaris and acne scars. The non-ablative ER:Glass 1540 nm laser deeply penetrates the skin, causing thermal damage to the sebaceous glands, destroying P. acnes bacteria and reducing sebum production, while leaving the epidermis intact. The integrated vacuum mechanism extracts accumulated sebaceous material from the pores, while contact cooling protects the skin, reducing pain and allowing for safer and more effective treatment of the sebaceous glands within the dermis. Based on this background, the investigators have considered a pilot study aimed at assessing the efficacy and safety of the ClearSkin Module in treating subjects with facial acne scars.
NCT04827680
Prospective, single centre, evaluator-blind study of the safety and performance of fractional radiofrequency (RF) for the treatment and reduction of acne scarring. The study will evaluate the progress of 20 subjects requesting treatment of acne scarring. The study will involve three treatments on both sides of the face with 3-5 week intervals between each treatment. Subjects will be followed at 6 and 12 weeks after their last treatment. Analysis will be performed on all subjects who receive at least one treatment.
NCT03284333
The purpose of this pivotal investigation is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the Cutera enlighten multi-wavelength 532 nm and 1064 nm Nd:YAG picosecond pulse duration laser and an investigational micro-lens array (MLA) handpiece attachment for improvement of acne scars.
NCT04606134
To evaluate the efficacy of a tripeptide/hexapeptide topical (Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar with TriHex Technology®) in wound healing and scar reduction following Erbium:YAG hybrid resurfacing laser for acne scarring compared to the standard of post-procedure care consisting of a bland moisturizer.
NCT05600075
To examine the anti-scarring effect of topical glycolic acid 35% combined with microneedling against that of topical insulin combined with microneedling for post acne scars
NCT02735421
This was a multi-centre, randomized, investigator blinded, vehicle controlled trial using intra-individual comparison (right half-face versus left half-face). Participants with each half-face randomized to one of the two following treatments: * Adapalene 0.3 percent (%) - benzoyl peroxide (BPO) 2.5% gel (TactuPump® Forte). * Vehicle gel The main objective of this trial was to evaluate the effect of Adapalene 0.3% - BPO 2.5% (ABPO Forte) gel versus vehicle gel on the risk of formation of atrophic acne scars in moderate to severe acne participants.
NCT05097157
Subjects are to be enrolled in this clinical study if they are 18 - 55 years old. Up to 120 subjects will be enrolled at multiple study centers. Subjects may receive up to 5 treatments for a wide array of dermatologic conditions in which electrocoagulation and hemostasis is a viable mechanism for means of improvement.
