NCT03519178
The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety and effects of study medicine (PF-06873600) when taken alone or with hormone therapy by people with cancer. People may be able to participate in this study if they have the following types of cancer: Hormone Receptor positive (HR+) breast cancer; Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2)-negative breast cancer that is advanced or metastatic (spread to other parts of the body); triple negative breast cancer; epithelial ovarian cancer; fallopian tube cancer; or primary peritoneal cancer. All participants in this study will receive the study medicine by mouth, 1 to 2 times a day at home. The dose of the study medicine may be changed during the study. Some participants will also receive hormone therapy. The hormone therapy will be either letrozole by mouth once a day at home, or fulvestrant as a shot into the muscle. Fulvestrant will be given every two weeks at the study clinic for the first month, and then once a month after that. Participants will take part in this study for at least 7 to 8 months, depending on how they respond to the therapy. During this time participants will visit the study clinic once a week for the first 2 cycles and every cycle thereafter.
NCT05605093
Treatments are needed to improve outcomes among patients hospitalized for COVID-19, including direct-acting antiviral (DAA) agents to mitigate the pathology driven by ongoing viral replication. This trial will evaluate S-217622 (ensitrelvir), an anti-SARS-CoV2 3C-like protease inhibitor (PI) developed by Shionogi \&; Co. Ltd. The study design is a randomized, placebo-controlled, multi-center international clinical trial that will evaluate the clinical efficacy of ensitrelvir when given in addition to standard of care (SOC) for inpatients with COVID-19. The SOC will be determined by local established guidelines and may include additional DAA (e.g., remdesivir) and immunomodulatory treatment strategies. Certain SOC treatments will be pre-specified prior to randomization.
NCT03936777
This is an international, multicenter, open-label, long-term safety study of ZX008 in subjects with Dravet syndrome, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome or epileptic encephalopathy
NCT06215911
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of tovinontrine compared to placebo to lower NT-proBNP in patients with chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.
NCT04880434
The goal of this clinical study is to test how well the study drug, brexucabtagene autoleucel (KTE-X19), works in participants with relapsed/refractory (r/r) mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
NCT03915951
This is an open-label, multicenter, non-randomized, Phase 2 study to determine the safety, tolerability and efficacy of encorafenib given in combination with binimetinib in patients with BRAFV600E-mutant metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Patients who are either treatment-naïve, OR who have received 1) first-line treatment with standard platinum-based chemotherapy, OR 2) first-line treatment with an anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)/programmed cell death protein ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitor given alone or in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy will be enrolled.
NCT06462183
Phase 1 study to evaluate safety, tolerability and anti-tumor activity of RGT-61159 in patients with ACC or CRC
NCT06309979
Study 111-903 will generate baseline growth data in children with ISS by collecting growth measurements and other variables of interest.
NCT05024929
Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is a common type of differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) in children and represents the second most common cancer in adolescent females. Recently targeted drugs that block many of the genetic drivers of DTC have become available. While Investigators know that these drugs shrink DTC tumors in many cases, the impact on radioactive iodine (RAI) avidity has not been systematically studied.
NCT02303626
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of an oral treatment, BCX4161, in preventing acute attacks in participants with hereditary angioedema (HAE). Eligible participants will be randomized to receive one of two doses of BCX4161 or placebo for 12 weeks. The study will compare the number of acute attacks in each treatment group, as well as a number of other clinical outcomes, and the safety and tolerability of each dose of BCX4161 compared to placebo.
NCT03369223
The purpose of this study is to determine whether BMS-986249 both by itself and in combination with Nivolumab is safe and tolerable in the treatment of advanced solid tumors
NCT06079190
The aim of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of GSK4527226 in participants with early Alzheimer's Disease (AD) (including mild cognitive impairment \[MCI\] and mild dementia due to AD) of 2 dose levels of GSK4527226 compared to placebo.
NCT03880383
Children with, or at elevated risk for, brain-based developmental disabilities can experience lifelong consequences and challenges throughout their development. In particular, preschool years (3-6 years of age) can be stressful as families wait to get services and care for their child. Nationally and internationally, service delivery models during this critical period are not standardized, and differ within and across provinces and across patient conditions, leading to long wait times, service gaps and duplications. This study has two main hypotheses: 1. A standardized approach to "coaching" (i.e. coach + online education tools + peer support network) is feasible in the real-life context, and acceptable to caregivers and can be delivered across multiple sites in urban/suburban/rural settings. 2. A standardized approach to "coaching" enhances parental health (parents' empowerment and sense of competence, quality of life, and minimizes parenting stress), family health care experience (care coordination experience and process of care) at similar health care cost (economic analysis), when compared to usual and locally available care.
NCT03266783
Apixaban and rivaroxaban have been compared to standard therapy for treatment of acute symptomatic venous thromboembolism (VTE) in randomized controlled trials (RCTs), and are both approved by Health Canada. No safety or efficacy data is available from direct head-to-head comparison of these two anticoagulants. Lawsuits in the United States over bleeding events, patient perceptions, and concerns with medication adherence are additional factors highlighting the importance of a comparison trial. This multi-center, pragmatic, prospective, randomized, open-label, blinded end-point (PROBE) trial aims to compare the safety of apixaban and rivaroxaban for the treatment of VTE.
NCT05405166
This is a randomized, multicenter, Phase 3, open-label study evaluating subcutaneous (SC) vs intravenous (IV) administration of isatuximab in combination with pomalidomide and dexamethasone (Pd) in RRMM patients (study participants) who have received at least 1 prior line of therapy including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor (PI). Eligible participants will be randomized 1:1 into 1 of 2 study arms: Arm SC: Isatuximab SC + Pd Arm IV: Isatuximab IV + Pd Participants will be allowed to continue therapy until disease progression, unacceptable adverse events (AEs), participant request to discontinue therapy or any other reason, whichever comes first.
NCT06173570
The primary purpose of this study is to measure the effect of different daily doses of AZD0780 on Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL-C) levels compared with placebo in participants with dyslipidemia. The effect of AZD0780 versus placebo on other lipid parameters and inflammatory markers is also investigated. The concentration of AZD0780 in blood at specific timepoints is measured, and the safety and tolerability of AZD0780 will be evaluated. There is a follow-up after end of treatment, but expanded access is not available. The primary hypothesis is that at least one of the investigated doses of AZD0780 is superior to placebo in lowering LDL-C level, in percent change from baseline up to week 12.
NCT03011372
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pemigatinib (INCB054828) in subjects with myeloid/lymphoid neoplasms with fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) 1 rearrangement.
