NCT04526106
This is a Phase 1/2, open-label, FIH study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PDy), and antineoplastic activity of RLY-4008, a potent and highly selective FGFR2 inhibitor, in patients with unresectable or metastatic cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) and other solid tumors. The study consists of 4 parts: a dose escalation (Part 1), a dose expansion (Part 2), and an extension (Part 3) and a rollover (Part 4).
NCT06941428
Trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy (TF-CBT) has the strongest evidence of any clinical intervention for youth trauma but is rarely adopted in the education sector - the most common setting for youth mental healthcare. Use of TF-CBT in schools is limited by (1) problems with its usability (e.g., rigid structures, complicated patient identification workflows) and (2) provider perceptions that some core elements (e.g., exposure) are not contextually appropriate for schools; both of which hinder provider and student engagement with TF-CBT. Our preliminary studies identified that TF-CBT demonstrates "below average" usability, suggesting that many providers are likely to experience it as excessively onerous (e.g., due to lengthy sessions, low caregiver engagement). Without a systematic process for redesign, treatment adaptations made to improve intervention-setting fit can be reactive and risk omitting their core elements or functions. Locally driven, user focused redesign of TF-CBT for schools that maintains its core functions can enhance the accessibility and impact of evidence-based trauma treatment for youth. In light of the need for usable, contextually appropriate, and engaging interventions for youth trauma, the current project will iteratively adapt TF-CBT for use by school-based providers (e.g., school counselors, school social workers) via the University of Washington ALACRITY Center's (UWAC) Discover, Design/Build, Test (DDBT) approach and methods drawn from the field of human-centered design.
NCT04089358
This phase III trial compares a multi-component mobile health and social media physical activity intervention versus wearing a physical activity tracker alone among adolescent and young adult childhood cancer survivors. Regular physical activity helps maintain healthy weight, energy levels, and health. Adolescents and young adults who complete treatment for cancer are often less active. They may gain weight and have more health problems compared to people the same age who have not had treatment for cancer. Comparing the 2 programs will help researchers learn how to increase physical activity levels over time and also how changes in physical activity levels affect health and quality of life over time.
NCT06526819
An Open-label, Phase I Dose Escalation and Phase 2 Dose Expansion Study to Assess Safety, Tolerability, Preliminary Antitumor Activity of SMP 3124LP in Adults with Advanced Solid Tumors
NCT07219121
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of sparsentan tablets for the treatment of patients with proteinuria after kidney transplantation with once-daily dosing for 36 weeks.
NCT04195633
This phase II trial studies how well a donor stem cell transplant, treosulfan, fludarabine, and total-body irradiation work in treating patients with blood cancers (hematological malignancies). Giving chemotherapy and total-body irradiation before a donor stem cell transplant helps stop the growth of cells in the bone marrow, including normal blood-forming cells (stem cells) and cancer cells. It may also stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. When the healthy stem cells from a donor are infused into the patient, they may help the patient's bone marrow make stem cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The donated stem cells may also replace the patient's immune cells and help destroy any remaining cancer cells.
NCT07114718
Starlight Cardiovascular, Inc. is sponsoring a prospective, multi-center, study to evaluate safety and effectiveness of the Lifeline Ductus Arteriosus Stent System. The study device is a stent that is designed to maintain patency of the Ductus Arteriosus for children who need blood flow through that part of the heart.
NCT06721299
The purpose of this study is to determine if Clenbuterol is a therapeutic option for FSHD by determining the safety and tolerability of the medication at three different dose levels.
NCT05601752
This is a phase 2, open-label, randomized, non-comparative clinical trial to evaluate the clinical outcome of ADP A2M4CD8 as monotherapy and in combination treatment with nivolumab in human leukocyte antigen (HLA) A2+ subjects with recurrent ovarian cancer positive for MAGE-A4.
NCT04503551
Study GR41675 is a Multicenter, Randomized Study in Participants with Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) Without Center-Involved Diabetic Macular Edema (CI-DME) to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety of the Port Delivery System with Ranibizumab (PDS) Relative to the Comparator Arm
NCT02589938
This study is being done to find out what effects, good and/or bad, acupuncture has on participants and their xerostomia caused by radiation therapy for the treatment of the cancer.
NCT07184996
This is a multinational, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, Phase 3 induction study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of duvakitug in participants with moderately to severely active Ulcerative Colitis (UC). Study details include: The study duration may be up to 35 weeks with: * Screening period * 12-week Sub-Study 1 (Single-Arm Open-Label Feeder Induction) or Sub-Study 2 (Pivotal Induction) * 12-week Sub-Study 3 (Extended Induction for non-responders) * 45 days follow-up visit for participants who do not enroll into the maintenance study (EFC18359) The treatment duration will be up to 12 weeks in each sub-study. The number of scheduled on-site visits will be up to 8 for the Sub-Study 1 and Sub Study 2 or a maximum of 15 visits for participants completing extended induction.
NCT03911700
This trial is being conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Phasix™ Mesh implantation at the time of midline fascial closure compared to primary suture closure in preventing a subsequent incisional hernia in subjects at risk for incisional hernia after open midline laparotomy surgery.
NCT05017311

NCT00003809
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Monoclonal antibodies can locate cancer cells and either kill them or deliver tumor-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. It is not yet known whether cisplatin plus monoclonal antibody therapy is more effective than cisplatin alone for metastatic or recurrent head and neck cancer. PURPOSE: Randomized double-blinded phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of cisplatin with or without monoclonal antibody in treating patients who have metastatic or recurrent head and neck cancer.
