NCT03242252
Primary Objective: To demonstrate the superiority of Sotagliflozin 200 milligrams (mg) and Sotagliflozin 400 mg versus placebo on HbA1c reduction at 26 Weeks in participants with Type 2 diabetes who have inadequate glycemic control and moderate renal impairment. Secondary Objectives: * To assess the effects of Sotagliflozin 200 mg and 400 mg versus placebo with respect to additional measures of glycemic control, blood pressure, and body weight. * To evaluate the safety of Sotagliflozin 200 mg and 400 mg versus placebo.
NCT00809354
The purpose of this study is to investigate the long-term analgesic efficacy and safety of tanezumab for patients with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee or hip currently experiencing partial benefit from, and are tolerating, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) therapy.
NCT00764868
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety of LDX administered as a daily morning dose (30, 50, and 70 mg/day) in the treatment of adolescents (13-17 years of age inclusive at the time of consent).
NCT04320615
This study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacokinetics of tocilizumab (TCZ) compared with a matching placebo in combination with standard of care (SOC) in hospitalized patients with severe COVID-19 pneumonia.
NCT02612779
Study of elotuzumab in combination with pomalidomide and low dose dexamethasone (EPd Cohort) and elotuzumab in combination with nivolumab (EN Cohort) to assess the safety and efficacy of these combination therapies for treatment of relapsed or refractory MM patients.
NCT03602898
This phase II trial studies how well 3 different drug combinations prevent graft versus host disease (GVHD) after donor stem cell transplant. Calcineurin inhibitors, such as cyclosporine and tacrolimus, may stop the activity of donor cells that can cause GVHD. Chemotherapy drugs, such as cyclophosphamide and methotrexate, may also stop the donor cells that can lead to GVHD while not affecting the cancer-fighting donor cells. Immunosuppressive therapy, such as anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG), is used to decrease the body's immune response and reduces the risk of GVHD. It is not yet known which combination of drugs: 1) ATG, methotrexate, and calcineurin inhibitor 2) cyclophosphamide and calcineurin inhibitor, or 3) methotrexate and calcineurin inhibitor may work best to prevent graft versus host disease and result in best overall outcome after donor stem cell transplant.
NCT00109707
The purpose of this trial is to assess the efficacy, safety, tolerability, biologic activity, and pharmacokinetics of AMN107 in six groups of patients with one of the following conditions: Relapsed/refractory Ph+ Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) (arm 1) Group A - Imatinib failure only (arms 2, 3 and 4) * imatinib-resistant or intolerant CML - Chronic Phase (CP) * imatinib-resistant or intolerant CML - Accelerated Phase (AP) * imatinib-resistant or intolerant CML - Blast Crisis (BC) Group B - Imatinib and other TKI failure (arms 2, 3 and 4) * imatinib-resistant or intolerant CML - Chronic Phase (CP) * imatinib-resistant or intolerant CML - Accelerated Phase (AP) * imatinib-resistant or intolerant CML - Blast Crisis (BC) Hypereosinophilic syndrome/chronic eosinophilic leukemia (HES/CEL) (arm 5) Systemic mastocytosis (Sm) (arm 6)
NCT03204318
The purpose of this study is to determine the benefit and safety of relugolix 40 milligrams (mg) once daily, co-administered with low-dose estradiol (E2) and norethindrone acetate (NETA) compared with placebo for 24 weeks, on dysmenorrhea and on nonmenstrual pelvic pain.
NCT02583100
This is a pilot study to determine if an audit and feedback intervention decreases complication rates after cleft palate surgery.
NCT00334958
To evaluate the effect of rufinamide on total partial seizure frequency in adolescent and adult participants (12 to 80 years, inclusive) with refractory partial onset seizures maintained on a maximum of 3 stable antiepileptic drugs (AEDs).
NCT01132807
This phase II trial studies how well chemotherapy based on positron emission tomography (PET) scan works in treating patients with stage I or stage II Hodgkin lymphoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more cancer cells. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill cancer cells. Giving combination chemotherapy together with radiation therapy may kill more cancer cells and allow doctors to save the part of the body where the cancer started. Comparing results of diagnostic procedures, such as PET scan, done before, during, and after chemotherapy may help doctors predict a patient's response to treatment and help plan the best treatment.
NCT03084796
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the dose-response of different doses of CHF 5259 pMDI on lung function and other clinical outcomes, to identify the optimal dose(s) in terms of benefit/ risk ratio for further development in the target subject population.
NCT02075047
The purpose of this study is to determine if ziprasidone is safe and effective for the treatment of children and adolescents (ages 10-17) with bipolar I disorder (manic or mixed).
NCT02785250
T cell activating therapy DPX-Survivac, low dose oral cyclophosphamide, and IDO1 inhibitor epacadostat will be tested together for the first time in patients with recurrent ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer to determine the safety and potential immune-modulating activity of the combination of these agents.
NCT03033732
This trial evaluates two standard of care treatments for opioid addiction: methadone and buprenorphine/naloxone. In order to improve patient care, the study will address real-world treatment conditions, including strict regulations for methadone dosing (i.e. initially dispensed daily at the pharmacy until stabilisation) vs. flexible take-home dosing for buprenorphine/naloxone. The OPTIMA study is designed with the intention to support patient-provider decision-making and evaluate health related outcomes with the overall aim of improving treatment outcomes through enhancing patient-centered approaches in clinical care.
NCT02998541
The purpose of this study is to determine if an investigational treatment is effective compared with placebo and PVP-Iodine in the treatment of adults and children with adenoviral conjunctivitis.
