NCT01975389
This study evaluates the PCSK9 inhibitor, Bococizumab (PF-04950615;RN316), compared to placebo, in reducing the occurrrence of major cardiovascular events, including cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, stroke, and unstable angina requiring urgent revascularization in high risk subjects who are receiving background lipid lowering therapy and have cholesterol laboratory values of LDL-C \>/= 100 mg/dL (2.6 mmol/L) or non-HDL-C \>/=130 mg/dL (3.4 mmol/L).
NCT03090464
Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a complex, chronic disease that requires a comprehensive treatment plan aimed at meeting multitude therapeutic targets associated with micro- and macro-vascular risk reduction. There is evidence that patient support in various forms can have a significant positive impact on adherence to treatment and the meeting of targets in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study is to evaluate if the use of a digital disease management tool (Smart phone- web portal-based tool), in addition to Standard of Care for T2DM, will improve glycemic control. Other variables important in T2DM (such as weight, blood pressure, and lipid levels), will also be evaluated along with patient-reported outcomes, such as satisfaction with treatment and adherence to their antihyperglycemic treatment. Study duration is 6 months
NCT01856309
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of CNTO 136 (sirukumab) in participants with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who are unresponsive to treatment with modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) or anti-TNF alpha agents.
NCT03210337
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of A-101 compared to vehicle when applied to 1 common target wart on the trunk or extremities.
NCT02217475
The purpose of this study is to determine whether cenicriviroc is effective and safe in the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in adult participants with liver fibrosis.
NCT01520545
Safety study to assess the 3 mg/mL baclofen injection (intrathecal) using a programmable pump
NCT03774836
This study is evaluating the analgesic efficacy of intravenous (IV) tramadol (AVE-901) compared to placebo in the management of postoperative pain following abdominal surgery.
NCT02780167
Study B7451006 is a Phase 2b POC study which is planned to assess four PF 04965842 once daily (QD) doses (10, 30, 100, 200 mg) relative to placebo over 12 weeks to characterize the efficacy and safety of PF 04965842 in subjects with moderate to severe AD. The objectives of the study are to demonstrate the efficacy of PF 04965842 by showing improvement in disease severity in patients with moderate to severe AD as measured by the Investigator's Global Assessment (IGA) and Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) scores, and safety to support further clinical development of PF 04965842.
NCT03288792
The purpose of this image acquisition study is to compare, in a Reader Study, the RI8 system used in conjunction with a conventional mammography to mammography alone, and to determine whether the addition of supplementary RI8 result will improve ROC area under the curve. The study is prospective, multi-center, sequential, control trial with the woman serving as her own control. Women determined to have heterogeneously or extremely dense breast based on her previous mammogram and are undergoing routine screening mammography at one of the clinical sites assigned for this study will be eligible to join the study.
NCT03051607
Phase 3, international, multicenter, open-label 12 month safety study.
NCT01180036
The primary outcome of this study is to determine whether or not the B cell targeting with Rituximab is non-inferior or more effective than Cyclosporine in inducing long term remission of proteinuria.
NCT02147197
This study will evaluate the superiority of ulipristal acetate versus placebo for the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding associated with uterine fibroids
NCT01558843
This multicenter, observational, study will enroll severe neurologically injured patients both prospectively and retrospectively. The aims are to identify the percent of neurocritical care patients with sodium levels ≤ 135 mEq/L, describe treatment strategies employed, determine the correlation of clinical factors (i.e. GCS, ICP) with serum sodium concentrations in patients prior to sodium altering therapy, and evaluate outcomes through evaluation of length of stay, discharge disposition, and modified Rankin score (mRS).
NCT01597193
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of enzalutamide alone and in combination with anastrozole, or exemestane, or fulvestrant in patients with incurable breast cancer.
NCT03650361
To evaluate the therapeutic equivalence and safety of Adapalene Gel 0.3% (Aleor Dermaceuticals Limited, India) and Differin® (Adapalene) Gel 0.3% (Galderma Laboratories, LP USA) in the treatment of acne vulgaris.
NCT00858377
This first-in-human study of AMG 900 will be conducted in two parts: dose escalation and dose expansion. The dose escalation part of the study is aimed at evaluating the safety, tolerability and PK of oral AMG 900 in subjects with advanced solid tumors. Up to 50 subjects may be enrolled in dose escalation. The dose expansion part of the study will consist of 42 subjects in three taxane-resistant tumor types. The dose of AMG 900 will be dependent upon data from the dose escalation part of the study
NCT01969851
SP0966 is an exploratory study to investigate safety and efficacy of Lacosamide (LCM) in children with epilepsy syndromes associated with generalized seizures. LCM will be added to current antiepileptic treatment.
NCT01926444
GIC-1001 is a novel, orally-administered, colonic analgesic drug developed as an alternative to i.v. sedation during full colonoscopy. It will be evaluated for efficacy and safety in a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, dose-ranging, proof of concept Phase 2a trial. Up to 240 patients will receive one of 3 doses of GIC-1001 or its matching placebo. A pharmacokinetic evaluation will be carried out on a subset of patients (N: 24).
NCT00595088
This study is designed to assess the efficacy and safety of DTA-H19/PEI given as six intravesical instillations of 20 mg of plasmid DNA complexed with PEI into the bladder of patients with intermediate risk superficial bladder cancer \[recurrent stages Ta (low or high grade)and T1, (low grade) transitional cell carcinoma (TCC)\] who have failed prior intravesical therapies including either Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) or chemotherapy. The primary efficacy objective is to determine the effect of DTA-H19/PEI on the prevention of new tumors after the induction course of 6 weekly intravesical administrations of investigational product assessed 8 to 10 weeks after the start of treatment. Secondary objectives include assessing the ablative effect of DTA-H19/PEI on a marker tumor, safety assessed by the incidence and severity of adverse events, determining the long-term (46 weeks) continued rates of absence of bladder cancer, and time to tumor recurrence in those patients who had a complete response (CR) after the induction course.
