NCT03046056
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of filgotinib, when compared to placebo, in establishing clinical remission defined as Crohn's disease activity index (CDAI) \< 150, at Week 24 in participants with small bowel Crohn's disease (CD). Participants will have the option to enter a separate long-term extension study if they meet eligibility requirements.
NCT02435992
The purpose of this study is to determine whether RPC1063 is effective in the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis (UC).
NCT04031885
The reason for this study is to compare the efficacy of abemaciclib, in combination with fulvestrant, to that of physician's choice of chemotherapy in women with hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) metastatic breast cancer that has spread to internal organs. Your participation in this trial could last up to 31 months, depending on your cancer type and how you and your tumor respond.
NCT03895372
This multicenter study is being conducted to provide additional PF-06826647 safety and tolerability data, and to further explore the clinical efficacy of PF-06826647 in the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. Additionally, the study is intended to enable selection of oral dose and dosing regimen for the future clinical development of PF-06826647.
NCT02571478
The psychological health of military members is a critical element of force health protection and readiness. Frequent deployments and high operations tempo at home strain the relationships and families of today's military more than ever before (e.g., Karney \& Crown, 2007). Since 2001 the likelihood of divorce in the Air Force increased with the number of days that Airmen were deployed (Karney \& Crown, 2007). Distressed relationships not only adversely affect members' adjustment and readiness (e.g., Hoge et al., 2006) but also are centrally implicated in suicides (i.e., relationship problems are the precipitating event in 51% of Air Force suicides, Kindt, 2009) and domestic violence (Pan, Neidig, \& O'Leary, 1994). Unfortunately, traditional sources of marriage counseling available to service members are largely underutilized. The MC brings a fresh perspective that helps normalize relationship help-seeking and in turn reach larger numbers of distressed couples early. The partnering of MC and integrated primary care appears to be an ideal combination of behavioral health innovations that has the potential to measurably enhance relationship health for the military services.
NCT01507987
The Cardiac Lead Assessment Study (CLAS) is designed as a prospective, non-randomized, multi-center, international postmarket surveillance study under 522 Order PS120111 (August 16, 2012).
NCT00005887
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Drugs such as RSR13 may make tumor cells more sensitive to radiation therapy. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of radiation therapy to the brain with or without RSR13 in treating patients who have brain metastases.
NCT00157079
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human), 10% (IGIV 10%) in subjects with primary immunodeficiency disorders.
NCT03625778
This is a Phase 1, randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled study in up to approximately 51 non-diabetic obese participants with a body mass index (BMI) ≥ 35 kg/m\^2. The participants will be observed among 3 separate cohorts and participate in the study for up to approximately 27 weeks, including a screening period (including a run-in), treatment period, and safety follow-up.
NCT05023759
Generalized anxiety disorder affects about 6.8 million adults in the United States, therefore its treatment is of major public health interest. Cannabidiol (CBD) has shown promise as an effective treatment for anxiety-related symptoms while lacking the severity of adverse effects seen with other medications. Given the wide availability of products containing CBD on the market today, from tinctures to coffee additives, and the undetermined potential for drug-to-drug interactions, medical supervision of CBD intake and formulation-specific clinical research is necessary. Therefore this study aimed to observe the effects of a specific hemp-derived full spectrum CBD formula on anxiety-related symptoms in a group of volunteers. The investigators will examine the self-reported anxiety symptoms in relation to use of a specific CBD formulation (25mg solvent-free full spectrum CBD capsules) in a cohort of adults diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. This open-label, cohort study will be conducted at six clinic sites in the United States (including Puerto Rico) from June 2020 through October 2020. The six physicians recruited to participate in the study were each actively prescribing CBD in their practices and were actively caring for patients with anxiety symptoms. Anxiety levels will be measured in enrolled participants diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder each week for a period of eight weeks using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-Item Scale (GAD7). Participants will also be instructed to take a daily 25mg capsule of CBD. The investigators hypothesize that this formula, when carefully developed and administered by a healthcare professional, will significantly reduce anxiety symptoms.
NCT03880266
The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of glycopyrronium cloth, 2.4% when used to treat palmar hyperhidrosis.
NCT02471716
This is a phase 1/2 single arm, open-label, safety, tolerability, and PK study of cabiralizumab in PVNS/dt-TGCT patients.
NCT02658175
An open-label study of volanesorsen (ISIS 304801) administered subcutaneously to participants with FCS.
NCT01510561
90Y-hPAM4 is administered weekly for 3 weeks combined with 4 weekly doses of gemcitabine to assess. This is a dose escalation study of 90Y-hPAM4 to assess which dose is safe and effective as 3rd line treatment for patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. Patients are then followed weekly for 12 weeks and afterwards for up to 1 year.
NCT03596151
This is a multi-center study with a minimum of three sites in the United States. The study will enroll approximately 1750 female subjects and will have a study duration of approximately 9 months after enrollment of the first subject. Female subjects seen at the participating sites for any reason will be evaluated for enrollment in this study. All subjects will be managed per standard of care as applicable. Subjects who are enrolled in the study will perform self-collection of a vaginal swab to be tested by Click device, and allow the health care provider (HCP) to collect three additional vaginal swabs to be tested by recognized FDA-cleared comparator methods. Subjects will complete the study in a single visit. The primary objective is to assess the performance of the Click device for detection of Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), and Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) in self-collected vaginal specimens as compared to Patient Infected Status (PIS) determined by three approved comparator assays using vaginal specimens collected by a qualified HCP in support of obtaining FDA clearance.
NCT00941486
The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of FST-100 (PVP-I 0.4% and dexamethasone 0.1%) Ophthalmic Suspension in the treatment of suspected acute adenoviral conjunctivitis.
NCT02655822
This is a phase 1/1b open-label, multicenter, dose-selection study of ciforadenant, an oral small molecule targeting the adenosine-A2A receptor on T-lymphocytes and other cells of the immune system. This trial will study the safety, tolerability, and anti-tumor activity of ciforadenant as a single agent and in combination with atezolizumab, a PD-L1 inhibitor against various solid tumors. Ciforadenant blocks adenosine from binding to the A2A receptor. Adenosine suppresses the anti-tumor activity of T cells and other immune cells.
NCT02167074
The aim of this study is to compare the diagnostic accuracy of two EUS-guided tissue acquisition devices; the 25G Echotip Ultra Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) device and the 20G Echotip ProCore Fine Needle Biopsy (FNB) device.
