Participants with the following relapsed or refractory hematologic malignancies will be enrolled into the study: relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), follicular lymphoma (FL), or non-FL indolent non-Hodgkin lymphomas (iNHL; including lymphoplasmacytoid lymphoma/ Waldenström macroglobulinemia \[LPL/WM\], small lymphocytic lymphoma \[SLL\], or marginal zone lymphoma \[MZL\]).
NCT02842021
To assess the efficacy and safety of a combination product S2G6T-1 compared to its monads and vehicle, applied twice daily for 7 days, in the treatment of symptomatic inflammatory interdigital tinea pedis in subjects 12 years of age and older. The results of this study will be utilized to perform power calculations for the Phase 3 pivotal trials.
NCT01570036
The study will be a multi-center, prospective, randomized, single-blinded, placebo-controlled Phase II trial of Herceptin + NeuVax(TM) vaccine (E75 peptide/granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor) (GM-CSF) versus Herceptin + GM-CSF alone. The target study population is node-positive (NP) (or node-negative \[NN\] if negative for both ER and PR) breast cancer patients with HER2 1+ and 2+ expressing tumors who are disease-free after standard of care therapy. Disease-free subjects after standard of care multi-modality therapy will be screened and HLA-typed. E75 is a CD8-eliciting peptide vaccine that was restricted to HLA-A2+ or HLA-A3+ patients (approximately two-thirds of the US population), and has been extended to HLA-A24+ and HLA-A26+ as well.
NCT00658021
The primary objective of this study is to test the hypothesis that glycemic control, as measured by change in hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) from baseline to endpoint, with exenatide is superior to that of placebo after 28 weeks of treatment in adolescent patients with type 2 diabetes who are naïve to antidiabetes agents, or patients who are being treated with metformin, an SU, or a combination of metformin and an SU
NCT00940602
This was a randomized, double-blind trial to evaluate deferasirox vs placebo in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (low/int-1 risk) and transfusional iron overload .The trial was conducted in 17 countries, started in 2010 and ended in 2018.
NCT00471497
In this study, the efficacy and safety of two nilotinib doses, 300 mg twice daily and 400 mg twice daily, were compared with imatinib 400 mg once daily in newly diagnosed patients with Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia in the chronic phase (CML-CP). An extension protocol was included in this study design to allow patients who did not show sufficient response to their assigned treatments the opportunity to receive imatinib 400 mg BID (option available until protocol amendment 7) or nilotinib 400 mg BID, using an abbreviated safety and efficacy assessment schedule.
NCT03565211
The purpose of the study is to assess the safety of Progesterone Vaginal Ring (PVR) in women undergoing fresh embryo transfer (ART).
NCT03013517
This is an open-label, follow-up study for subjects who completed the PEPITES study. Subjects will be offered enrollment in this follow-up study to receive Viaskin Peanut 250 μg for 2 additional years if previously on active treatment in the PEPITES study, or for 3 years if previously on placebo in the PEPITES study.
NCT01494584
This is an open-label study to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, safety and tolerability of ezogabine/retigabine in subjects aged 12 years to less than 18 years with uncontrolled partial onset seizures or Lennos-Gastaut syndrome.
NCT00447499
The purpose of this study is to determine whether subjects with acromegaly (or their partners) are able to self administer Somatuline Autogel at home.
NCT01688050
The TRANSFIX study is a clinical trial approved by US FDA to study the safety and effectiveness of the Zenith® TX2® Low Profile Endovascular Graft for treatment of Blunt Thoracic Aortic Injury.
NCT02837731
This study assesses the mean difference in fluid balance at ICU discharge and associated patient outcomes, based on a dynamic assessment of fluid responsiveness in septic patients with refractory hypotension in an ICU setting.
NCT00023868
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan, fluorouracil, and leucovorin, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping the cells from dividing. Chemoembolization kills tumor cells by blocking the blood flow to the tumor and keeping chemotherapy drugs near the tumor. It is not yet known if chemoembolization is more effective than standard chemotherapy in treating metastatic cancer. PURPOSE: This phase I trial and randomized phase III trial is studying the effectiveness of chemoembolization in treating patients who have colorectal cancer metastatic to the liver.
NCT02580552
Objectives of this clinical trial are to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and potential efficacy of the investigational drug, cobomarsen (MRG-106), in patients diagnosed with certain lymphomas and leukemias, including cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) \[mycosis fungoides (MF) subtype\], chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) \[activated B-cell (ABC) subtype\], and adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL). Cobomarsen is an inhibitor of a molecule called miR-155 that is found at high levels in these types of cancers and may be important in promoting the growth and survival of the cancer cells. Participants in the clinical trial will receive weekly doses of cobomarsen administered by injection under the skin or into a vein, or by injection directly into cancerous lesions in the skin (for CTCL only). Blood samples will be collected to measure how cobomarsen is processed by the body, and other measurements will be performed to study how normal and cancerous cells of the immune system respond when exposed to cobomarsen.
NCT01851083
Pediatric severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) is the leading cause of death and disability in children ages 1-14 years old. There are no effective therapies to treat secondary brain injury and the post-injury response of CNS apoptosis and neuroinflammation. This study is a follow-up trial from a previously performed Phase I trial that demonstrated the safety and potential CNS structural preservation effect of intravenous autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMNC) after severe TBI in children. (Cox, 2011) The study is designed as a prospective, randomized, placebo controlled, blinded Phase 2 safety/biological activity study. The investigators hope to determine the effect of intravenous infusion of autologous BMMNCs on brain structure and neurocognitive/functional outcomes after severe TBI in children.
NCT01493778
This trial is conducted in Asia, Europe and North America. The purpose of the trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of turoctocog alfa in prevention and treatment of bleeds in previously untreated children with haemophilia A.
NCT01908751
The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of surgical fixation (cancellous screws versus sliding hip screws) and biologic intervention (Vitamin D versus placebo) on patient important outcomes.
NCT02900716
This study will evaluate the safety, antitumor activity and preliminary pharmacokinetics of an investigational drug product, DTRMWXHS-12, in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or other B-cell lymphomas. DTRMWXHS-12 will be evaluated as a single agent, and in combination. This study will be conducted in two parts: phase Ia and Ib. Both parts will explore escalating doses of DTRMWXHS-12. The phase Ia study will evaluate DTRMWXHS-12 monotherapy. The phase Ib study will evaluate DTRMWXHS-12 combinations.
