ARI103094 is a follow-up study in adult male subjects who have received investigational product (either dutasteride or placebo) in the REDUCE Study (REduction by DUasteride of prostate Cancer Events), ARI40006, A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel Group Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Dutasteride 0.5mg Administered Orally Once Daily for Four Years to Reduce the Risk of Biopsy-Detectable Prostate Cancer. There are 2 parts to this REDUCE Follow-Up Study, Part A and Part B: * REDUCE Follow-Up Study, Part A, is a 2 year observational study which will follow eligible subjects for 2 years after completion of the 4 Contact in the REDUCE study. Eligible subjects for Part A, the 2 Year Observational Study fall into 3 groups as follows: (1) REDUCE subjects who completed treatment with investigational product (dutasteride or placebo) through the REDUCE 4 Year study visit \[Visit 10\], (2) REDUCE subjects who developed prostate cancer, were withdrawn from investigational product and participated in Prostate Cancer follow-up until the REDUCE 4 Year study visit \[Visit 10P\] or (3) REDUCE subjects who were withdrawn from investigational product and participated in observational phone follow up until the REDUCE 4 Year phone call after withdrawing from IP (expected Visit 10). The objective of this observational study for eligible REDUCE subjects is to collect and summarize data on prostate cancer (the incidence of newly diagnosed prostate cancers and changes in prostate cancer diagnosed during the REDUCE study) and serious adverse events (SAEs) for 2 years beyond the prospectively planned 4 year double blind, placebo-controlled study, REDUCE. * REDUCE Follow-Up Study, Part B, is for collection of cancer positive prostate biopsy tissue blocks/slides from subjects who were diagnosed with prostate cancer in the REDUCE study.

Background: Infection in preterm infants is a common, costly, and devastating problem frequently causing death or sequelae for survivors. An immature immune system underlies the frequency and severity of infections in this vulnerable population. The mouth is the site where microbes first meet the mucosal immune system. Antimicrobial proteins and peptides (APPs) in saliva kill microbes and improve immune cell function. Low APP levels increase the risk of developing infection. Colostrum and human milk reduce the risk of infection. This protective effect of human milk may come from supplying or stimulating infant production of APPs. No prior investigation has determined the concentration of APPs in saliva or the effect of human milk/formula on the APP concentrations in saliva. Objective(s) and Hypothesis(es): The investigators objectives are to identify and serially determine the concentrations of key APPs in colostrum, human milk, and preterm infant saliva using highly-sensitive and specific mass spectroscopy methods. The investigators study is designed to test the hypotheses that (a) all saliva APPs increase over time, (b) APP concentrations are higher in colostrum as compared to human milk, and (c) APPs are increased in saliva of infants that receive colostrum orally compared to those that do not. Potential Impact: If increased saliva APP levels are associated with oral colostrum priming, this discovery would advance understanding of the immune properties of human milk and identify oral APPs as important immune elements and potential therapeutic targets in this vulnerable population. This knowledge has the potential to alter feeding practices and provide a safe, low cost means to improve immune function and significantly improve outcomes for preterm infants.

This is a Phase II randomized, partially-blinded, controlled trial in 360 (up to 600) males and females, 65 years of age and older, who are in good health and meet all eligibility criteria. This clinical trial is designed to assess the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of a monovalent inactivated influenza A/H7N9 virus vaccine manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur administered intramuscularly at different intervals and dosages (3.75, 7.5, or 15 mcg of HA/0.5 mL dose) given with MF59 adjuvant manufactured by Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics. Subjects will receive three doses of the vaccine. Safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity data will be collected at standard time points with safety follow-up to continue through one year post dose 2. Study Duration is approximately 30 months and Subject Participation is approximately 18 months. The purpose of this research study is to test the safety of and the body's response to an experimental cytomegalovirus (CMV) vaccine (called gB/MF59 vaccine). Participants will include approximately 400 healthy females, ages 12-17, recruited from adolescent clinics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Baylor College of Medicine, University of Texas School of Public Health, Houston, and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Participants will receive 3 doses of vaccine or placebo (saltwater) on a 0, 1, and 6 month schedule. Study procedures will include blood and urine samples. Participants will complete a diary recording temperatures and any side effects experienced. Subjects will be involved in study related procedures for up to 31 months.

This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic activity of 3 different dosages of RO5186582 compared with placebo. A total of approximately 46 participants will be enrolled, in order to have at least 32 evaluable, and will be randomly assigned to 1 of 4 treatments in a 1:1:1:1 ratio, with 9 children per treatment arm. The target ratio between 6-8 years and 9-11 years age groups is approximately 1:1 in each treatment arm, with a minimum of 3 children per age group in each treatment arm.

This is a Phase II open-label study in approximately 240, and up to 400, healthy males and non-pregnant females, aged 6 months to 17 years. This study is designed to assess the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of two doses administered intramuscularly approximately 21 days apart of an unadjuvanted subvirion monovalent inactivated influenza H3N2v vaccine manufactured by sanofi pasteur. Subjects will be stratified by age (approximately 60-100 subjects 6-35 months old, approximately 60-100 subjects 3-8 years old and approximately 60-100 subjects 9-17 years old) to receive 2 doses of vaccine, administered intramuscularly as 15mcg HA/0.5mL dose, approximately 21 days apart. In addition, approximately 60-100 subjects 6-35 months old will receive 2 doses of vaccine, administered intramuscularly as 7.5mcg HA/0.5mL dose, approximately 21 days apart. The duration of the study for each subject will be approximately 7 months.

Innate immunity plays an important role for fungal recognition and initiation of fungicidal activity. We hypothesize that subtle differences in different molecules of innate immunity may contribute to either the predisposition or clinical course of infection with Blastomycosis dermatitidis. To test this hypothesis, we propose to analyze the allelic frequencies of 15 different genes (mannose binding lectin, Fc-gamma receptor IIa and IIb, Fc-gamma receptors IIIa and IIIb, myeloperoxidase, tumor necrosis factor-alpha and -beta, interleukin 1A and 1B, interleukin-1 receptor antagonist, interleukin-10, NRAMP-1, chitotriosidase, and chemokine receptor 5) and their intragenic polymorphic forms and to compare this data to the incidence and severity of Blastomycosis dermatitidis infection. With this study we hope to identify a group of molecules of innate immunity which influence the risk and severity of invasive Blastomycosis dermatitidis infection.

This exploratory study will examine ways in which individuals approach a positive genetic test for Huntington Disease (HD). HD is a neurodegenerative disorder that causes emotional, cognitive, and movement problems, and currently there is no way to prevent, stop or reverse the progression of the disease. It is passed down through a mutation in a normal gene, and each child of an HD parent has a 50-50 chance of inheriting the HD gene. The study is designed to explore how individuals adjust to their new genetic status and evaluate any perceived mental or emotional barriers to that adjustment. Currently, little is known about how individuals come to terms with a positive genetic test result for a condition that has no known cure or effective treatment. The results of this study may give health care providers and counselors more information about how to help patients who are at risk for developing HD make sense of their new genetic status. Candidates will be prescreened and referred to the study by clinics that specialize in genetic testing and counseling. Candidates must be 18 years old or older and must have received a positive genetic test result for HD at least one month prior to the study. They must also perceive themselves to be asymptomatic-that is, without existing HD symptoms. During the study, participants will be interviewed and asked a series of questions about their decision to pursue testing, their life since the testing, and the things that they have found helpful or unhelpful since receiving the test results. The interviews will be recorded and will last approximately 60 minutes. Participants also will receive a follow-up phone call within two to three days to ensure their general psychological well-being after the interview.

GSK2485852 is a Hepatitis C NS5B site IV non-nucleoside polymerase inhibitor being developed for the treatment of chronic HCV infection. HBI115040 is the first administration of GSK2485852 in humans to establish the initial safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic, and antiviral profile. The study design is a fusion of single and repeat dosing cohorts in HCV infected subjects to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics, and antiviral activity of GSK2485852. HBI115040 describes a Phase I, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose escalation fusion study to determine the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic, and antiviral profile of GSK2485852 in single doses (Part 1), repeat doses (Part 2), and ritonavir co-administration (Part 3) in chronically infected HCV subjects. The study will also explore the effect of a moderate (30%) fat meal on pharmacokinetic endpoints in HCV subjects in Part 1.

This open-label, extension study is designed to provide continuing treatment with RO5045337 to participants who have completed parent studies NO21279 (NCT00623870), NO21280 (NCT00559533), NP25299 (NCT01164033), NP28021 (NCT01605526) or NP28023 (NCT01635296). Participants are eligible to participate in this study if they have completed required Phase 1 study assessments for primary objectives of respective parent protocol and are having evidence of clinical benefit (as defined by the parent protocol). Participants will continue the most similar dose and formulation available (which does not exceed the maximum tolerated dose \[MTD\] or the maximum safely administered dose for that formulation during Phase 1) and the same schedule of RO5045337 treatment that they were receiving at the time of transitioning from the parent clinical study protocol.
