NCT04032704
This trial will study ladiratuzumab vedotin (LV) alone and with pembrolizumab to find out if it works to treat different types of solid tumors. It will also find out what side effects may occur. A side effect is anything the drug does besides treating cancer.
NCT00429364
Marfan syndrome is a hereditary connective tissue disorder. Many individuals with this condition die because of the associated heart and blood vessel abnormalities. This study will compare the effectiveness of two medications, losartan and atenolol, at slowing aortic root enlargement in individuals with Marfan syndrome.
NCT03761017
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK) pharmacodynamics and preliminary antitumor activity of lorigerlimab. This Phase 1, open-label study will characterize safety, dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs), and maximum tolerated/administered dose (MTD/MAD) of MGD019. Dose escalation will occur in a 3+3+3 design in patients with advanced solid tumors of any histology. Once the MTD/MAD is determined, a Cohort Expansion Phase will be enrolled to further characterize safety and initial anti-tumor activity in patients with specific tumor types anticipated to be sensitive to dual checkpoint blockade.
NCT03868579
This trial studies how well rapid on site evaluation of pleural touch preparations works in diagnosing cancerous fluid in between the linings of the lungs (malignant pleural effusion) in patients undergoing a pleuroscopy. A type of laboratory testing called rapid on site evaluation of pleural touch preparations that uses pleural biopsy tissue samples collected during an already-scheduled pleuroscopy may be able to diagnose malignant pleural effusion.
NCT02326974
This research study is studying a combination of drugs as a possible treatment for breast cancer that has tested positive for a protein called HER2. The names of the study interventions involved in this study are: * Trastuzumab emtansine (also called T-DM1) * Pertuzumab
NCT05441501
The purpose of this study is to determine recommended phase 2 dose(s) (RP2Ds) of JNJ-80038114 in Part 1 (dose escalation) and to determine the safety at the RP2D(s) in Part 2 (dose expansion).
NCT04840199
This was an open-label, controlled study, conducted at US sites to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effectiveness of the study drug letermovir in adults with HIV and asymptomatic cytomegalovirus (CMV) who were on antiretroviral therapy (ART)-mediated suppression. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either letermovir once daily or no anti-CMV treatment, for 48 weeks. The primary hypothesis of this study was that letermovir would cause a greater reduction in plasma soluble receptor for tumor necrosis factor type II (sTNFRII) levels than no anti-CMV treatment at weeks 46/48.
NCT02636855
This screening study is intended for men and women ≥ 18 to ≤ 75 years of age who have advanced solid or hematologic malignancy. The study will assess a subject's human leukocyte antigen (HLA) subtype and tumor antigen expression profile. Based on the results, it will be determined if a subject is eligible to be considered for Adaptimmune sponsored clinical trials testing the safety and efficacy of genetically changed T cells targeting specific tumor antigens. No treatment intervention will occur as part of this screening study. Upon enrollment, subjects will be required to provide a blood sample for HLA subtype analysis. If the results of the analysis match the HLA-A subtypes noted in the inclusion criteria and do not express the HLA subtypes that are exclusionary for the available interventional clinical trial(s), then the subject will be required to provide either an archival tumor specimen or fresh tumor tissue biopsy. The tumor specimen will be screened at a central laboratory for the expression (protein or gene) of multiple antigens which may include, but are not limited to MAGE-A4. Based upon the results of these diagnostic analyses, if eligible, subjects will be referred to an appropriate available interventional clinical trial(s) at the discretion of the Investigator. Following screening, tumor samples will be retained by Adaptimmune for the purpose of developing and validating in vitro diagnostic (IVD) assay(s) for antigen expression profiling which is required for regulatory approval of a new therapeutic product indication.
NCT03587805
The purpose of this extension trial is to evaluate the long-term safety of tralokinumab.
NCT01536886
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether LEO 90100 and calcipotriol plus betamethasone are effective in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.
NCT03131648
Primary objective: To evaluate the efficacy of tralokinumab compared with placebo in treating moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD). Secondary objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of tralokinumab on severity and extent of AD, itch, and health related quality of life compared with placebo. Maintenance objective: To evaluate maintenance of effect with continued tralokinumab dosing up to 52 weeks compared to placebo for subjects achieving clinical response at Week 16.
NCT06374147
The study proposes to complete the development of and then establish the safety, efficacy, and clinical risk/benefit of a novel hospital incubator pad with stochastic vibrotactile stimulation (SVS) that will provide a complementary treatment and the first improvement in the clinical management of apnea of prematurity (AOP) in over 20 years. Currently, the only approved therapy for AOP is Caffeine Citrate. The SVS mattress pad can prove to be an effective, non-invasive adjunct to Caffeine Citrate for preterm infants with potential to shorten the need for respiratory support as well as overall shortened length of stay.
NCT03533257
The study is a 24-week, randomized, double-blind, multi-site, placebo-controlled study in participants with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or early dementia due to Alzheimer's disease (AD).
NCT05933265
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, MTD and RP2D of LP-184 in patients with advanced solid tumors who have relapsed from or are refractory to standard therapy or for whom no standard therapy is available. The secondary objectives are to characterize the PK of LP-184 and its metabolites in plasma and assess clinical activity of LP-184. Participants will receive LP-184 infusion during Day 1 and Day 8 of each 21-day cycle, for a minimum of two cycles. Patients will be monitored for safety, PK, and clinical activity
NCT04669288
AZ-SWED is a parallel group, double blind, placebo control efficacy clinical trial with two separate hypotheses. The trial will compare the 5-day outcome of preschool children presenting to an Emergency Department (ED) with an acute, severe wheezing episode and treated with either once daily oral Azithromycin (12 mg/kg/day for 5 days) or placebo. The AZ-SWED researchers will make separate comparisons in children in whom specific pathogenic bacteria are isolated from nasopharyngeal swabs, and in those in whom they are not isolated. The primary outcome will be the Asthma Flare-up Diary for Young Children (ADYC), a validated instrument that caregivers will transmit electronically daily after discharge from the ED. Families will be contacted daily during the five-day treatment to collect the ADYC, and to assess compliance and complications. A randomly chosen subset of enrolled children will participate in two follow-up visits 5-8 days and 14-21 days after visit 1 to assess development of resistance to study drug and treatment response related changes in the airway microbiome.
NCT02781883
The primary objectives of this study are to assess: (1) whether the combination of BP1001 plus venetoclax plus decitabine provides greater efficacy (Complete Remission \[CR\], Complete Remission with incomplete hematologic recovery \[CRi\], Complete Remission with partial hematologic recovery \[CRh\], than venetoclax plus decitabine alone (by historical comparison) in participants with untreated AML that cannot or elect not to be treated with more intensive chemotherapy; (2) whether BP1001-based treatment provides greater efficacy (CR, CRi, CRh) than intensive chemotherapy (by historical comparison) in participants with refractory/relapsed AML.
