This phase III trial is studying the side effects of giving monoclonal antibody Ch14.18 together with sargramostim, aldesleukin, and isotretinoin after autologous stem cell transplant in treating patients with neuroblastoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as Ch14.18, may find tumor cells and help kill them. Colony-stimulating factors, such as sargramostim, may increase the number of immune cells found in bone marrow or peripheral blood. Aldesleukin may stimulate the white blood cells to kill tumor cells. Isotretinoin may help neuroblastoma cells become more like normal cells, and to grow and spread more slowly. Giving monoclonal antibody Ch14.18 with sargramostim, aldesleukin, and isotretinoin after autologous stem cell transplant may be an effective treatment for neuroblastoma.

In a previous study in patients with interstitial cystitis/ painful bladder syndrome (IC/PBS), tanezumab has shown to be efficacious in relieving the pain associated with IC/PBS, as well as some effect on reducing urinary urgency. Only one dose was studied, and tanezumab was well tolerated. In this study, the hypothesis being tested is that tanezumab will show efficacy at several doses on reducing pain with sufficient tolerability. The main goal of this study was to see if a drug called telmisartan would decrease fibrosis (scarring) and inflammation (irritation) in people who are infected with HIV and doing well on their HIV medications. The study was also done to see what effects telmisartan has on other signs of disease and inflammation in the body, and to see whether people who have HIV can take telmisartan safely and without side effects that make them want to stop the drug. Telmisartan is FDA-approved for treating high blood pressure and decreasing the chance of heart attacks and strokes in people over the age of 55 years of age who are at high risk for these events.

A multicenter, double blind, randomized, single dose, active-controlled study to investigate the efficacy and safety of synthetic surfactant (CHF 5633) in comparison to porcine surfactant (Poractant alfa, Curosurf ®) in the treatment of preterm neonates with respiratory distress syndrome. Main objectives of this study are to investigate the short term efficacy profile of CHF 5633 vs. porcine surfactant (Poractant Alfa, Curosurf®) in terms of reduced oxygen requirement and ventilatory support and to evaluate the mid-term efficacy profile in terms of reduced incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and mortality/BPD rate at 36 weeks post menstrual age (PMA), mortality rate at 28 days and 36 weeks PMA, RDS-associated mortality through 14 days of age and other major co-morbidities of prematurity. Inclusion criteria are: Written parental informed consent, inborn preterm neonates of either sex with a gestational age of 24+0 weeks up to 29+6 weeks, clinical course consistent with RDS, requirement of endotracheal surfactant administration within 24 hours from birth, fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO2) ≥0.30 for babies 24+0 to 26+6 weeks and FiO2 ≥0.35 for babies 27+0 to 29+6 weeks to maintain arterial oxygen saturation by pulse oximetry (SpO2) between 88-95%.

The main purpose of this study is to understand the pharmacokinetics of EP-104IAR and to determine whether it is safe to use in patients with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. The study will also provide some preliminary insights into whether the experimental treatment reduces pain in the knee. Osteoarthritis is the most common joint disease, affecting over 20 million people in the US alone. Currently, pain treatments that are injected directly into the knee often work for only a short time and may also have side effects within the rest of the body. The experimental treatment is a steroid that is in the same family of drugs as the most common current injectable treatments for knee osteoarthritis. For this study, the drug is coated with a polymer intended to prolong the time it stays inside the knee and lessen potential side effects.

This is a phase 1/1b open-label, multicenter, dose-selection study of ciforadenant, an oral small molecule targeting the adenosine-A2A receptor on T-lymphocytes and other cells of the immune system. This trial will study the safety, tolerability, and anti-tumor activity of ciforadenant as a single agent and in combination with atezolizumab, a PD-L1 inhibitor against various solid tumors. Ciforadenant blocks adenosine from binding to the A2A receptor. Adenosine suppresses the anti-tumor activity of T cells and other immune cells.
