OCE-205 is being tested to treat participants who have developed Hepatorenal Syndrome-Acute Kidney Injury as a complication of cirrhosis with ascites. The study aims are to evaluate the safety and efficacy of OCE-205 at various doses. Participants will receive treatment by intravenous infusion. Participants will continue with this treatment until participants meets primary endpoint or any discontinuation criteria.

The BESPOKE CRC study will prospectively enroll patients who have undergone surgery for stage I to IV colorectal cancer (CRC) and who have residual formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue available will provide FFPE and whole blood samples. Patients will receive SIGNATERA™ test results and may be recommended for post-operative systemic therapy or observation by their treating clinician. Patients will be followed for up to two years with periodic whole blood collection. The study also has a control arm that will consist of matched Stage I to IV CRC cases that have a minimum of least 2 years clinical follow-up data.

This investigation is a prospective, nonrandomized multicenter clinical trial evaluating the outcome of patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) requiring concomitant open heart surgery plus the Cardioblate Surgical Ablation System using the modified Maze III procedure. The trial population includes patients requiring valve replacements or repairs, atrial septal defect (ASD) repairs, patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure or coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) procedures. The study objectives are to demonstrate that the Medtronic Cardioblate Surgical Ablation System can safely and effectively treat persistent AF patients.

Approaches and Decisions in Acute Pediatric TBI Trial (ADAPT) is an international research study designed to evaluate the impact of interventions on the outcomes of children with severe traumatic brain injury. Pediatric traumatic brain injury (TBI) is the leading killer of children, resulting in more than 7000 deaths and $2 billion in acute care costs each year. Despite this large burden of disease, advances in the field have been limited due to weak evidenced-based guidelines and the limitations of randomized, controlled trials (RCTs) to demonstrate efficacy of single treatment strategies due to wide treatment variability. ADAPT is a practical study design in a novel approach - an observational cohort study designed to evaluate the association of 6 aspects of pediatric TBI care with outcomes using statistical modeling to correct for confounding variables. Completion of this study will provide compelling evidence to change clinical practices, provide evidence for new Level II recommendations for future guidelines and lead to improved research protocols that would limit variability in TBI treatments - helping children immediately through better clinical practices and ultimately through more effective investigation.

This randomized phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of pomalidomide and ixazomib when given together with dexamethasone and to see how well pomalidomide and dexamethasone with or without ixazomib works in treating patients with multiple myeloma that has come back. Biological therapies, such as pomalidomide and dexamethasone, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Ixazomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether pomalidomide and dexamethasone are more effective with or without ixazomib in treating multiple myeloma.

Sub-studies will evaluate health-related quality of life, cost of cancer care, and qualitative experience of care in a subset of Canadian participants.

The project will test a tailored web and smartphone-based application (iCanCope with SCD) to improve pain self-management and functioning in youth (aged 12-18) with sickle cell disease. The program will include goal setting, peer-based social support, and pain self-management training.
