NCT03811015
This phase III trials studies whether maintenance immunotherapy (nivolumab) following definitive treatment with radiation and chemotherapy (cisplatin) result in significant improvement in overall survival (time being alive) and progression-free survival (time being alive without cancer) for patients with intermediate risk human papillomavirus (HPV) positive oropharynx cancer (throat cancer) that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes. Drugs used in chemotherapy such as cisplatin work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high energy rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. It is not yet known whether chemotherapy and radiation therapy followed by maintenance nivolumab therapy works better than chemotherapy and radiation therapy alone in treating patients with HPV positive oropharyngeal cancer.
NCT01167712
This phase III clinical trial studies two different dose schedules of paclitaxel to see how well they work in combination with carboplatin with or without bevacizumab in treating patients with stage II, III or IV ovarian epithelial cancer, primary peritoneal cancer, or fallopian tube cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Bevacizumab is a type of drug called a monoclonal antibody and blocks tumor growth by stopping the growth of blood vessels that tumors need to grow. It is not yet known whether giving paclitaxel with combination chemotherapy once every three weeks is more effective than giving paclitaxel once a week in treating patients with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.
NCT05489211
TROPION-PanTumor03 will investigate the safety, tolerability, and anti-tumour activity of Datopotamab Deruxtecan (Dato-DXd) as Monotherapy and in Combination with Anticancer Agents in Patients with Advanced/Metastatic Solid Tumours.
NCT01729455
The purpose of this prospective, observational cohort study is to evaluate the incidence of adverse events of special interest (AESI) and effectiveness in participants with active, autoantibody-positive SLE treated with and without BENLYSTA (belimumab). Participants will be enrolled into 1 of 2 cohorts: (1) BENLYSTA cohort: participants receiving or initiating BENLYSTA plus standard of care (SOC) at Baseline; (2) comparison cohort: participants not receiving BENLYSTA but receiving SOC at Baseline. After enrollment, changes in lupus medications, including starting or stopping BENLYSTA, are at the discretion of the physician, and all participants will continue to be followed regardless of changes in their lupus medicines until study completion. All participants will be assessed for AESI including serious infections, opportunistic infections and other infections of interest, malignancies, selected serious psychiatric events and mortality. Data will be collected at enrollment and at 6 month intervals for 5 years. BENLYSTA is a registered trademark of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) group of companies.
NCT02466971
This randomized phase III trial studies radiation therapy and cisplatin with triapine to see how well they work compared to the standard radiation therapy and cisplatin alone in treating patients with newly diagnosed stage IB2, II, or IIIB-IVA cervical cancer or stage II-IVA vaginal cancer. Radiation therapy uses high energy protons to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Triapine may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether radiation therapy and cisplatin are more effective with triapine in treating cervical or vaginal cancer.
NCT05193929
The purpose of this clinical investigation is to assess the safety and performance of Compedica's OptiPulse™ and to collect subject outcome data on the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU's) versus the standard of care (SOC). OptiPulse™ is designed to enhance blood circulation in the venules and arterioles. Fibracol Plus (or equivalent) is a collagen alginate dressing that is used as the primary dressing. Both products are 510(k) FDA cleared and will be used within the cleared intended use.
NCT06179888
This phase II trial compares iberdomide maintenance therapy to disease monitoring for improving survival in patients who have received idecabtagene vicleucel (a type of chimeric antigen receptor T-cell \[CAR-T\] therapy) for multiple myeloma. The usual approach after treatment with idecabtagene vicleucel is to monitor the multiple myeloma without giving myeloma medications. There is currently no medication approved specifically for use after idecabtagene vicleucel treatment. Upon administration, iberdomide modifies the immune system and activates immune cells called T-cells, which could enhance the effectiveness of idecabtagene vicleucel. Iberdomide may keep multiple myeloma under control for longer than the usual approach (disease monitoring) after idecabtagene vicleucel, and may help multiple myeloma patients live longer.
NCT06152575
The purpose of this study is to learn about the study medicine called elranatamab. This study aims to compare elranatamab to other medicines for the treatment of MM (a type of cancer). This study is seeking participants who: * Are 18 years of age or older and have MM. * Have received treatments before for MM. * Have MM that has returned or not responded to their most recent treatment. Half of the participants will receive elranatamab. The other half of participants will receive a combination therapy selected by the study doctor. The selected combination therapy will include 2 to 3 different medicines commonly used to treat MM. Elranatamab will be given as a shot under the skin at the study clinic about once a week. This may change to a smaller number of shots later in the study. The medicines in the combination therapy will be taken by mouth (at home or at the study clinic) AND will be given either as: * a shot under the skin at the study clinic * through a needle in the vein at the study clinic The number of times these medicines will be taken depends on what combination therapy the study doctor selects. Participants may continue to receive elranatamab or a combination therapy until their MM is no longer responding. The study team will see how each participant is doing with the study treatment during regular visits at the study clinic. The study team will continue to follow-up with participants after study treatment with telephone contacts (or visits). The study will compare the experiences of people receiving elranatamab to those people receiving a combination therapy. This will help learn about the safety and how effective elranatamab is.
NCT07219173
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of brenipatide at different dose levels compared with placebo in participants with moderate-to-severe asthma. Study participation will last approximately 65 weeks, including screening, treatment, and follow-up periods.
NCT02775851
This pilot phase II trial studies how well pembrolizumab works in treating patients with desmoplastic melanoma (DM) that can be removed by surgery (resectable) or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.
NCT06159673
This is a master protocol for 3 independent, seamlessly enrolling, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group studies in patients with ADP * Substudy 1 (Phase 2) will evaluate efficacy and dose response of ACP-204 30 and 60 mg vs placebo. This substudy will be initiated first. * Substudies 2A and 2B (both: Phase 3) will be confirmatory studies of either both doses (ACP-204 30 and 60 mg, respectively) or a single dose from Part 1 vs placebo. Substudies 2A and 2B will be performed independently of each other and will commence after enrollment of Part 1. All 3 substudies will be analyzed independently of each other. Each substudy individually will consist of a screening period (up to 49 days); a double-blind treatment period (6 weeks); a safety follow-up period (30 days) for patients not rolling over into an open-label extension study; and vital status follow-up (for patients who terminated their substudy early).
NCT05828082
This phase II trial tests how well M1774 works in treating patients with prostate cancer that does not respond to treatment (refractory) and that has a mutation in the gene responsible for making the speckle type BTB/POZ protein (SPOP). M1774 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving M1774 may be able to shrink or stabilize refractory SPOP-mutant prostate cancer.
NCT00937937
This phase II trial is studying the side effects and how well dinaciclib works in treating patients with stage IV melanoma. Dinaciclib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT04559139
This phase II/III trial compares the effect of adding chemotherapy before and after surgery versus after surgery alone (usual treatment) in treating patients with stage II-III gallbladder cancer. Chemotherapy drugs, such as gemcitabine and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving chemotherapy before surgery may make the tumor smaller; therefore, may reduce the extent of surgery. Additionally, it may make it easier for the surgeon to distinguish between normal and cancerous tissue. Giving chemotherapy after surgery may kill any remaining tumor cells. This study will determine whether giving chemotherapy before surgery increases the length of time before the cancer may return and whether it will increase a patient's life span compared to the usual approach.
NCT06683508
The main purpose of this study, performed under the master protocol W8M-MC-CWMM (NCT06143956), is to evaluate the effects of LY3549492 in adults with obesity or overweight. Participation in the study will last about one year.
NCT04211337
The reason for this study is to see if the study drug selpercatinib is safe and more effective compared to a standard treatment in participants with rearranged during transfection (RET)-mutant medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread to other parts of the body. Participants who are assigned to the standard treatment and discontinue due to progressive disease have the option to potentially crossover to selpercatinib.
NCT05720117
The primary objectives of this study are to determine the recommended dose(s) of PYX-201 for participants with recurrent/metastatic (R/M) solid tumors, and to determine the objective response rate (ORR) in participants treated with PYX-201 as a single agent.
NCT06898450
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if NDI-219216 is safe for patients, and if NDI-219216 might be a possible treatment for advanced solid tumors in the later phases of the study. The main questions it aims to answer are: Is NDI-219216 safe and what kinds of side effects might it cause? What kind of effects does NDI-219216 have on the body? Does NDI-219216 have any impact on tumor size? Participants will: Take NDI-219216 every day by mouth. Visit the clinic 6 times during Cycle 1, 2 times during Cycle 2, once a month thereafter for checkups and tests while on the study, then one time for an end of treatment visit. After the End of Study, a follow up will occur but can be done on the phone. Keep a diary of their tablet consumption and symptoms experienced.
